All the courses you have mentioned now, most are available in our universities presently, but the only issue we are facing in our educational sector now, is the fact that their is no standard scholarship like before again, only empty promises are being made by the government without implementing them.

So also, when you look at it now so many people are loosing it, they don't longer have interest in educational aspects again, they think they have only learn for learning sake, because when they graduated from university no any work to sustain them after they most have spent years thinking that the economy will favor them at the end but to no avail. But if the government could sponsor there craft work, skills and entrepreneurship, it will go a long way for them to become a better person in the society it will reduce lack unemployment in the country.

Who will lead the revolution? If it's you I am interested. Revolution is not the solution,.it will lead to bloodshed, many people will lose their lives, thousands will be displaced.

But if I may asked, are people not still losing their lives for no just course at the different parts of the country by these bandits? Or aren't you aware of the pupils and their teachers who were captured by bandits in Oyo state 2 weeks ago? Because one thing you need to understand is that if either the country undergoes revolution or not, it won't stop people from being killed daily. And it would have even been better they died for a reason while protesting for the betterment of the entire country, than dying in the hands of kidnapper in the bush, whose government have decided to pay deaf ear to the cries of the entire people of Nigeria. So to be honest, a strong revolution is the best solution for this country.

Before I go further on this matter I will love to emphasise more on the complete meaning of revolution,  from the general point of view i know revolution is either radical or sudden change all do not expect. The change in question do not give room for negotiation or manipulation but it is a strict change.
If this unexpected change comes in in Nigeria today,  there won't be room for bandits to gain access to the country the way they do now and it will be very difficult to experience this unexpected killing the same way we are experiencing now, so on that i think you are wrong by saying even if we experience revolution that the killing will not stop.

I'm their thinking on how government can rebrand our system of education, yet the Nigeria government is busy campaigning the upcoming 2027 election why some students and teachers that has been kidnapped for months now and yet the government has not do anything about the release of those students and teachers that was adopted, truly the government has failed to do something since then and now the youths in Nigeria are really protesting everywhere for the total shut down of the whole schools in Nigeria until the government finds the solution in releasing those students and teachers that was kidnapped, and before now some school has been shut down in some northern part of Nigeria because of the killing and kidnapping that is going in the northern part of Nigeria, yet Nigeria government didn't make a move in stoping the killing and kidnapping.

Who told you that is the president have how way so much he might have stop all this killing, the truth be told with just a call and everything is finished…

The truth is that this government has failed us in every single way, infact no one has that regard for the president all day long rainy down insult on him.

Seriously the current issue of insecurity in this country is no longer funny anymore and I agree with you Nigeria govt have failed in every aspect but even at that i don’t think the issues of insecurity we are facing in the country can be solved by the President alone with just a single phone call as you said. To me Nigeria insecurity challenge as a hole I feel like apart form the president knowing about it there are other sponsors to this problems we are facing and this issue of bandit always come up whenever we are close to another election, the politicians in this country do not even care about human life at all but rather how they must hold power by all means and all this killing and the rest are part of their political strategy and it’s not making sense at all.

In Nigeria there are allot of talent youths in different kinds, who would be glad to see themselves chancing their dreams but Nigeria system of education is only based studying the fellowing courses that i can remember: Electric engineer, machnical engineer, civil engineer, business administration, public administration, medical laboratory, marine engineer, laws, political science, nursing, urban and regional planning, architecture and computer science, but the government failed to understand that there some youths which might be good in those courses i just listed above but will be good in the following courses: music, performance and dance, creative art, creative media and film, sports and nutrition, Art design and fashion and hair designs, assuming the government were enble to implement those courses in Nigeria, i don't think there will be need of graduating from university and yet you will still go and learn skills under any body and also some parents could have the opportunity to discourage their children not studying what they what to study because there nothing like that in Nigeria universities.

You are right, the government should review the education system by include those topics that are not in our universities as well as removing or modernize  some that are hard to get it job or need. Because reason being that, in Nigerian universities there are some courses like botany, zoology, history, and courses like them, and even after graduating if there is no government job  you can not be self employed  which many of them ended up in the class room.

And another problem is, there are many courses that their practical tools are Insufficient in government primary schools,  secondary and universities, and that's why some graduates have to learn experience and skills for many years before know all about what he studied.

In a nutshell, I guess you are saying government should make our educational system more practical, rather than the theoretically system which we operates today on almost all the fields
Not all courses are practical; some are just theories but those courses that involves practical learning are still studied in the university. I think that the OP is referring to courses on the skills that most people are learning today without studying them in the higher institutions. Some of those courses that OP mentioned are already studied by some students just that most people don't consider studying them because it's just like a waste of time spending many years studying them in the university when they can just use months to learn them as a skill.

It will be good if the government could look into our country's education system and make such changes just as mentioned above. sorry to say  our educational system requires revamping and restructuring if Nigeria wants to produce students with required necessity to compete in our competitive market.
Just as we talk about restructuring the academic system,  same also should the teachers on ground abd students needs restructuring because 80 percent of teachers never see it as a necessity to administer there duties in schools, so they also needs the change we talk about.

Sorry to disappoint you, there is nothing this current government can do to better our country or education, I don’t even think it’s only on education it’s all in every sector of the country, most especially in terms of power, and the economy everything is terrible in this country, even when the minimum wage is very terrible and awful and the economy have made everything bad, education should be the bed rock of a country to make the young once to have a better education, instead this government officials and politicians are more interested in sending their children to the white mans land for better education, so that is a red flag that you will know that nothing can ever change in this country called Nigeria.

It is really bad that nothing good can be speak about the country everything keeps going worst, is a big pity and shame to the leadership of our nation, they have failed us in so many ways and nothing we can boost of, I don't blame most of our brothers and sisters who have the opportunity to travel out of the country and refuse coming back home, the level of corruption in our nation is too much, presently now I have zero expectations from the government because putting your hope in them to fulfill their obligations will you disappointed as you will get tired of waiting, what you said is correct how can they fixed our educational system when children are not schooling here in this country, no one knows when things can really change for good the suffering and lamenting is too much.

Nigeria system of education require serious upgrade, qnd and it is the government that will do that. We are all evidents of what the politicians or leaders of this country Nigeria are doing, their children don't attend government schools, and many of them send their children abroad to go, and school. They do this because they know education abroad is more superior to our own system of education.
Most of the courses we study here are no longer sellable in the labour market, and therefore has become outdated.
Our system of education is more of the theory aspect instead being practical.
The federal government of Nigeria should introduce more better courses into our universities, and better learning environment to enable student study well, and be able to defend themselves whenever they are called upon.

Most of the courses which you got listed here are also part of things you can easily study in this country even if it's not up to the standard you might want, but they offer it here, and not all higher institutions have the capacity. If you pick interest in any of them, you can search for the school where it's been offered and seek admission over there.

The problem is not about approving those courses for them to be studied; where most of the problem lies is are we equipped enough to pass down that knowledge needed to the students, or do you do more of the theory and leave the students to seek advanced knowledge elsewhere? Anyone who needs something in this country now needs to work it out for himself and build a skill and career path on what they love and don't hope for the government.

So to be honest, a strong revolution is the best solution for this country.

i understand the fear but the truth is that nigerians are already dying daily because of insecurity People are kidnapped killed and displaced yet many feel their cries are being ignored that is why the anger and frustration keep growing at the end of the day nigerians just want a country where lives are protected and leaders take peoples concerns seriously

When will government have time to rebrand our education when they are busy sending their children to study abroad, will this instance it is clear that they don't have that plan at all, what I'm suspecting is that our government are after is to make the governing system as inheritance for their families, if they decided to fix our schools they believe that opportunity will not come because the children of masses will understand how the system works and their children will not have that opportunity that is why they continue to kill our education so that we will not know how things are being done.

It is just left for us now to the recent technology that is going around, which is artificial intelligence, I have seen so many people who have adopted this and honestly it is really working for them, also do the same thing so that we can avoid what they are planning for against us.
All those prominent men occupying the government seats, are aware that the Nigeria system of education is messed up, and that is why all their children are studying overseas, we really need a leader that will come to our aid because educational sectors is diminish in the Nigeria,  if president Bola  Ahmed Tinubu rule this country for the second regime, what will be the faith of our youths in the society because it is not obvious that some northern part of Nigeria are not in school sections due to the killing and kidnapping every day, revolution is what Nigeria needs right now because the crime rate is much in Nigeria.

For sure they know that our educational sector is nothing to write home about and instead of them to proffer solutions, they prefer sending their children abroad where they spend huge amount of money. If they use that money that they used in sending their children abroad and invest it in education in the country, it would be beneficial to many people including their children but greed will not allow them and the mentality of placing their children high above other children. We don't even know who will rescue this country from the corruption that has eaten deep in the lives of many people because Nigeria deserves a President who will make tough decisions without minding who it affects inasmuch as they are have the heart to make the country better.

Sorry to say this the Nigerian government is the worst government i have ever seen so far, a government only interested in power but not consigned about what the citizens are going through.  Innocent children and there teachers have been kidnapped instead of finding solution to the problem all our leaders could do is spend the little we have on campaigns just to find there evil ways into office to finish the evil works they have started.
Each time I see what is happening outside Nigeria,  how there leaders fight tirelessly to find solution to the problem affecting them i regret ever coming from Nigeria because in Nigeria now we have no leaders all we have is parasites that depends on the resources of the nation for survival.

Innocent children, teachers, and the common citizens become victim of insecurity, and up till now we are still expecting the government to take action and give us solutions but up till now nothing, and it actually painful that our government have failed because we have the military power to stop this nonsense so many countries have faced serious security challenges at different points in their history, but the difference is how fast their leaders and government respond to them. What this country Nigerians need now is less focus on political campaign and power struggle and focus more on commitment to security, education, and job creation, and I think this will actually make this country go forward.

In a nutshell, I guess you are saying government should make our educational system more practical, rather than the theoretically system which we operates today on almost all the fields, and likewise updated with respect to the current trend, right? Because to be honest, I'm very much sure that all the courses people study now in our higher Institutions are all courses that was added before 1999 when our constitution was last amended. And since then, and since then, no new causes that is seen to be generating the most revenue has been implemented in our school as a proper academic program. However, for the fact say government never implement this in the country, as parents it should be your duty to make sure say your children learn at least one or two skills immediately they finish secondary school before entering the university. Because we all see how the country dey be each year, making learning of skills very important.
I believe most of the courses Op mentioned are not in our universities are actually currently in our universities but most of them like music might have just few persons studying it because Nigerian parents are fund of discouraging their children to study things like this instead they prefer it must be medicine, law, engineering, accounting and so many major courses like this we know. So I feel that’s another reason this courses are not expanding or most universities are not even looking at adding it to list of courses they offer.
And at the end because of the situation of the country even after studying this major courses, no job after school, then so many youth start redirecting their options into something different like skills, which has been helpful and how most youth make money nowadays.

It's very difficult to understand what you are trying to talk about, but I think all you are trying to say is for the government to amend our educational system. You are very correct on that, because I think it's high time the government review our educational system, because their are more courses that should be included and also I think we have been left behind by the western nations,  because we need to included courses in our educational system that fits the present and not to be more reliant on courses that serves better in the past. We are now in an advanced technological age, so I think the government should do something about the educational system to match up with the world at present.

If our education should be rebranded, I think we'll rank one of the best countries in Africa. Our education system is so poor we are lagged behind when it comes to education system, we don't have working instrument for practical imaging students studied medical laboratory technology/ scientists and they haven't seen how DNA mechanics looks like. Some institutions only draw these practicals on board for them to see, they don't even know how to operate them, how will someone even operate what they never see physically, it's obvious that practical is so much helpful to students than theories, some do study medicine under delapilate structure instead of them to be in well decorated classes. Our government never care to look into all this, i don't know how the educational system of this country will operate in the future.

The olodo uprising are caused by the government inability to make the educational system free and comfortable for all, going to school in Nigeria cost a lot of money and after graduation you have to hustle like a school drop out to be able to survive in the economy,

That's why we have so many Olodo uprising in Nigeria today, every one sees school as a scam, many young people are now into yahoo and others stuff to survive, no one is interested in going to school anymore, the educational system is bad and can't be redeemed by these heartless people in power today, we need new leadership that are interested in Education to revised our educational system.
