It depends on the type of bets you have. In a 1X2 bet, you only have 3 standard options: first team to win, draw, or second team to win. On most sports betting websites, you can also pick different types of bets like Handicap, Asian Handicap, 1X (first team win or draw), X2 (second team win or draw), and much more.

Based on your question, I assume you picked 1X2 bets. But let's compare it with a combo bet using Asian Handicap.

For example, a combo bet based on 2 matches:
Manchester United 2-0 Barcelona
PSG 1-0 Arsenal

Let's create 4 scenarios:

• You pick Manchester United (1X2) and Arsenal (1X2) = Your combo bet loses.
• You pick Manchester United (1X2) and PSG (1X2) = Your combo bet wins.
• You pick Manchester United (1X2) and PSG (AH -1.50) = Your combo bet loses because PSG needs to win by 2+ goals.
  
• You pick Manchester United (1X2) and PSG (AH -1.00) = Your combo bet wins, but you only get the odds from Manchester United.
  

These are just 4 scenarios out of almost infinite scenarios that can happen based on the bets you will pick. I just want to show you that with the same match result, and even picking the same side to win, the bet can still have different results (WIN/LOSE).

Of course, the game you lost will definitely make you lose the other bet because you didn't make a single bet but a parley. It's if you are on five parlay games and above that you are likely to get a cash out offer you have already won first three out of five and that's your choice to make but if you lose the 4th game, you lose it all.

Hope you are pretty aware of the potential risk involved in what you are trying to get your money into. The Parlay bet you are seeking is not a easy task if you ask me and if you are still curious to have a taste of what it looks like than I will advice you stake a small amount you can afford to lose so you wouldn't be disturb if you eventually lose.  Ordinarily, to me I can never go anywhere  close to it when I know how risky and can cause a significant lost in no time.

No one can tell you how the games will play. It all depends on the outcome of the games. If the one you chose win comes out as win and the one you chose lose comes out as lose, you have won your ticket and you can withdraw your winning but if any of them get the opposite then your bet is gone. So as I said base on the outcome of the result and nobody knows how it will be. That bet might favor you or against you.

If one of your bets in a combo betting (as you call it) it is wrong, then you would lose all your money, regardless whether the other predictions on the parley were right.
Actually, since you seem to be completely new to the world of betting in sports, I would advice you not to start your journey with combo betting or parleys.

You should go for simple win/lose bets, the so called moneyline, until you have managed to accumulate some experience and understand where your limits are.

You could commit a serious financial mistake if you started your journey as newbie by engaging with parlays, which even experienced bettors avoid sometimes for the high level of risk it involves.

You can win half or part of your bet when you cash out at the right time. But if you wait until all matches are finished, you will lose your bet. Cashing out while you are losing also will not get a good return offer. If you want to try it, it's better to try using small bets first. Do not include more matches in your betting slip.

Even if you lose to one of the two teams, all is lost; there is no chance of winning half, since you are new to parlay betting, so there is no need to include more than 2-3 teams. The fewer bets you accumulate, the more chances you have of winning. Parlay is not for newbies; those who have more technical knowledge about gambling can win. But there is no guarantee of winning for sure.

You will definitely lose, combo betting is like a parlay bet, meaning that you can select as many games as possible, but the rule is that if one game lose, you lose all. Even though you select 30 games and 1 lose you are not going to be paid. You can only be paid if you didn't bet using combo but single bet. On single bet you can select as many as possible, if anyone plays your ticket clocks green, and if any lose you see it fade away. So bear it in mind that in combo game, your risk factor is very high, which implies that wining chance is low.
