I don't think there have been a game of particular concern like this, which people got really addicted to it in my country. Because though we have got people who got addicted to some games, but never have there been a singular one which made headline news, simply by having many people fall addicted to it. However, the one game I'm sure which many people gamble irresponsibly on is virtual Sports betting. Which is just like the real football match, but in a virtual form that is automated. Because many people have fallen addicted to this game and lost lot of money.

Nigerians are huge on bets and it's mostly on football and lottery, I don't think that physical casinos are common in the country and that is why bets are very common. Honestly from my best of knowledge since I started gambling I have not learnt that there is a specific game(s) in my country being banned or red flagged due to relative or negative exhibitions of the gambling company or the negative impact of the game itself being corruptible of addiction amongst players.

So far so good gambling has got too good reputations in my country due to proper regulations.

Years ago I heard of a case from a not so popular, but still, actor in mu country who had problems with gambling, substances, etc. and owed a lot of money to who knows what mafia.
