Like your first pick is one team, your gut says they will win, but your mind is like nah, this looks too easy, maybe it’s a trap again. Not really because you’re just overthinking, but because you already had that same experience before. The obvious side looks good, then suddenly it loses and you feel stupid for falling for it again.

So now you start doing the opposite of what you first wanted to bet. You fade yourself. But what if it actually works? Like you keep winning because you don’t trust your own first pick anymore.  So.. Would you still call that healthy gambling?

I did this in the past, and it just made me feel more stupid.

Imagine backing out with your own instinct and switching to the other side, and you still lose? Not just once but many times. I felt so unlucky that Lady Luck hates me so much.
Anyway, that made me realize that I should just go for whatever the stats say, and so do my instincts. Many times, stats and my instincts do end up in just the same pick, so I don't go against it and just place the bet without even thinking too hard.
I still do some risky gambles like taking the heavy underdogs, but it has become very rare now. It's not like they make traps at every game.

The moment we are being able to predict what may come out of gambling, then we are most likely not going to lose any longer because we can predict the right thing, gambling is not what we already know how the end is going to be, we are only making attempt to see whether if our guess is going to be in line with the actual fate that may lies behind every attempt made, so we are all clueless except we attempted to risk the chances of playing a particular game and later see whether we are right or wrong about our prediction made.

First of all, I do not see gambling as a means of making money. I can lose more than I win, I have no problem with that as long as I am using very little amount of money to gamble.

I have not felt this before, I make some analyses, choose a team that will likely win and bet on the teamm. That is how I am doing it without any second thought.

What we should really focus on is discipline in gambling. We should not think that we can win every day, or even win every month overall, because that is not the reality.

It can't keep working like that forever due to many factors for instance lets say your initial plan was to bet on Liverpool to win Manchester City and but you later switched to Manchester City and City won then the next time you taught about betting against City against but later consider them to win and they lost don't you think you'll still look stupid?
 Sports betting doesn't work like that, a bettor can never always be lucky, you'll lose some and win some, there's no magic to always winning whether you follow your instincts always or not, it's just a game of luck whereby you place your bet with whatever you can spare to lose then accept your fate.

It depends on how you define healthy gambling. If your main goal is profit and that strategy works for you, then maybe you can call it healthy, but if you want to win and have fun at the same time, then that is different because you might just be betraying yourself. Thinking too much or second guessing is just mental stress to me because doing all that over a game of probability does not change the outcome. The best thing you can do is to  do proper analysis and bet based on this logic not just instincts. Fading yourself or not none of this exists, this is just a terrible mindset that gamblers have. I experienced a losing streak in a week and what came into my thoughts was to bet the opposite way to see if that will work for me but it didn't and I was disappointed because assuming, I continued the normal way, I would have won those bets I lost.

Depending or trusting on another's instincts is not ideal for a gambler because it will disappoint you at the long run and you will be left with regrets, it's just better you do what works for you or even if it's not working yet just be hopeful and keep trying your luck and surely luck might come knocking, I rather quit when have discovered that I'm on a very long loosing streak than adhere to someone who will lure me into more losses.

The best thing to do in gambling is just do your analysis and stats base on what you feel it's right and don't bet with an amount you know you can't afford to loose and don't also see gambling as a source of income because that's why gamblers keeps falling victims of underdogs, they are so desperate to win so they can make money and they jump on any stats given hoping to win which might not work in their favor, the games is just about making attempts and to see if we are going to be lucky to win nothing more than that.

Totally normal that we would really be creating those kind of thoughts at the moment or tiime that you would be having that sure bet or easy bet because of those factors that you had saw or researched or analyzed on which you would be that confident of your bet but ending up on having that lose in the end on which it would make you think that you would be trying out to reverse it out and hoping that it will be that effective but still ending up on losing it up again, then you would be sticking into your own strategy and choices once again. This is really that very common for most bettors and pretty sure that most of us did really have this kind of experience. It would be just that depending on us whether you would really be getting that affected or emotional that much on which it will disrupt your way of thinking and getting pressured or you would be just that trying out to make up some experiment due to curiosity? The important thing on here is that you wont be able to lose control and as long you are that good into your bankroll and dont go past beyond limits then it should be just fine.

I never change my mind after I decide and usually I always go with the first hunch, usually betting whenever I find value like today in Algeria Ligue 1 in over 1.5 goals as the odd is near 1.5 which is good value for this type of bet despite this league not producing many goals. I never change for example to under 1.5 goals after I have decided for over 1.5 because many times I have done so in the past they all resulted in bad losing tickets, that is why I never change my mind regarding the type of bet.

The way you have described it here, I don't think any gambler has been able to avoid this kind of situation. Because it is actually a common game of the human mind, when it comes to making confusing decisions where the risk is high.
In my case, this has happened multiple times and I think it will happen in the future as well. And this has actually happened to me more in those matches when I am going to bet on a competitive match and my analysis has not been able to identify the underdog or strong team.

I have very little experience with this, but addicted gamblers constantly deceive their friends to gamble. After losing, they think and promise that they will quit gambling and never gamble again, but later they cannot keep that promise. And they convince themselves otherwise and gamble again. And this happens constantly. When they lose, they promise to quit gambling and after a while they gamble again, this happens to maximum gamblers who are already addicted. Again, those who play new gambling also deceive themselves in various ways and continue gambling.

To fade yourself isn't a good idea. I've already predicted outcomes wrongly, and due to this reason, I decided to pick the opposite side of what I thought to be the winning one. Then, I also lost that way. Sometimes the most obvious result doesn't happen, but sometimes it does happen, and there isn't how to escape from this dilemma and there isn't how to know when the obvious will become the right prediction.
