Most of the stuff you see on the internet, especially when it comes to money, are:

-fake
-too good to be true
-rage bait
-engagement bait
-after your personal data
-designed to put you in an echochamber
-designed to politically radicalize you

^ This was the case long before AI was popular, and is even more the case today. Take your $100 and pay your phone bill or something. Get some decent fruits/veggies and freeze them so you can have a healthy breakfast smoothie for a few weeks. Come back when you have more than $100 and a shit-coin dream. Until then, whenever you feel like spending $10 on something dumb, buy bitcoin with it instead. Your future self will thank you for DCA'ing a very strong/hard currencey that appreciates in value over the long term.

Your question isn’t clear enough! But I’ll try to just answer it the way I understand it. If I don’t get you wrong you mean to say if someone wants to start bitcoin investment with $100  what are the thing he should be careful about not to get scammed right?
First of all he should make sure he’s on the right platform and not those fake/scam site advertising bitcoin. And if here using a centralized exchange he should make sure he is purchasing his coin from a user who has a good rating and at least 4000 completed orders thats shows that he’s not a scammer.

He should also consider adopting Dollar cost averaging strategy in this accumulation as it is the best to start with as a newbie. There are a lot but I think this should get him started.

With any amount of money, if they want to avoid scam, they must avoid all altcoins.

If they listen to this advice, and actually apply it with their money, and only buy bitcoin, they will never be scammed. Of course they must store their bitcoins in non custodial wallets after purchasing coins.

If they store bitcoins on centralized exchanges, they have risk of scams.
Reminder: do not keep your money in online accounts.

With $100, impatience is what gets you cleaned out. People chase 100x shitcoins because slow BTC gains feel boring, and that's exactly where scammers bait the trap.

Think of it as tuition money for learning self-custody, not a get-rich-quick ticket

So one advise I will give to newbies is to have a mentor, the one close to you, a friend or relative, these day a very large percentage of individuals are into crypto, so among your friends and family you should have one that is also into it,
At the same time also get information from outside, but before you do anything that has to do with money ask first,

Don't expect to double the $100 within a few months. Ignorant newbies come into the crypto space with the mindset that they can make 100% profit in a short time. My advice will be to keep the amount you have and seek other means to increase it so that you can be able to buy Bitcoin. You would hear comments that Bitcoin is too expensive, so just buy some cheap altcoins. Most of them are scammers because the majority of these altcoins become worthless within a short period. If you want to overcome this noise, keep getting the right information.

If a total newbie joins the forum and the only thing he has is $100, I would advice him to keep the money first and learn about bitcoin first while building his financial strength. As much as necessary, You need to build your portfolio and still build your income source while still learning about bitcoin because when it's time to start investing in bitcoin, you're going to need more than an $100 to get started and even if you start investing with $100, continuing will require you to add more money and where will you get it if you don't have a string stream of income?

I agree with you, avoiding all altcoins is the best way to avoid being scammed, many of newbies are obsessed with Altcoins and think it is the best and fastest way to make profit and that is why they get scammed, investing in altcoins is very risky because some altcoins are coming from scammers that no one knows how and what it will be in the end, focusing on bitcoin is the best way to avoid scammed and you should also be smart when you are investing in bitcoin, do not let anyone to know anything about your coin because if someone have your seed phrase and other important details that can login into your wallet you can get scam also, so that means not by only investing in bitcoin you can avoid being scam but be careful with your investment.

The brutal truth they need to hear to survive all the noise in the market, and to also avoid the scam is that if it is not Bitcoin,, then it is not worth the time and money because most newbies who joined the crypto space always do so with the intention of getting a 100x, 1000x moonshot, or easy passive income through crypto which always makes them a victim of exit scam.
Another thing is to never trust an influence stance on shitcoin, dont use CEX as storage, and try to learn the basic activities of BTC and how to use wallet safely.
There are many advise but this where i want to stop.

The market expectations has reduced at least from what we saw in the last bull run. However, scam is still one thing that is still on the rise, newbies lose money because they don't read. The ones that read don't have patience to observe, these has made lot of them to waste money on things they don't even need. Tell me,why a newbie suddenly want to make money with Bitcoin futures because they see the return on spot isn't profitable like they expected, they have the expectations of making x10 with their $100.

Not to discourage anyone but $100 worth of Bitcoin is small if you are doing one time purchase. You can't invest little amount of money and expect huge return, you will have to increase your buy even if you don't have the capital in full, do it with DCA; this may be boring but it's the most adequate way of stacking stack until you meet your target. If your value isn't upto the initial, reduce your size but be consistent with what you can afford, with time you will get your target amount.

For the remaining 1% of the scams, use your brain, use your ai, use google... Eventually you'll spot them too.
