Stake.com has been withholding my withdrawal for 13 days with no explanation
On May 7, 2026, Stake.com blocked my withdrawal after I placed several sports bets. Since that day, I have not received any explanation regarding the reason for the block.

What has happened so far:
When the block occurred, support directed me to send an email regarding the issue. I sent the email and have not received any explanation or update since then.
Every time I contact live chat, I receive the same generic response:

"Your case has been escalated to the relevant team"
"Please continue to be patient while they complete the review"
"We are not able to provide you with any ETA regarding this"
"We cannot provide any information before the corresponding team reviews your case"

It has now been 13 days, and I still don't even know the reason for the block.

To be fair, stake doesn't do this for no reason, they have WAY bigger fish to fry. Guess it would be interesting what bets exactly you have made, guess that might shed some light into the whole thing.

Needless to say, just blocking an account without any explanation or further updates is not the way to.

Yeah, two weeks are enough. But you have to exclude weekends from it. Stake hasn't mentioned the possible duration for the investigation in its terms.

If Stake reasonably suspects that Your account or gaming activity has violated these terms of service or applicable laws or regulations, it may, in its sole discretion, delay or decline further deposits, withdrawals and/or game play while it conducts its investigation. You acknowledge and accept that Stake may not be in a position to provide an explanation as to the nature of its investigation.

So, you have to wait until they complete the investigation. Occasionally, the investigation takes a few weeks to months at every betting site. It happens rarely, but nothing can be done to boost the investigation process.

i don't think stake is out to scam you or something like that, $5k is nothing to them, so those 5 bets must have tripped their sports provider system for them to be acting like that.

AI is going to tell you what you want to hear if you don't give it full context, and as far as the screenshots you shared they didn't cut you off the chat support. so like they told you, be a bit patient, with sports investigations it takes time if the case is not something simple, or if they are waiting on a third party to finish their own investigation.

I'm guessing they are investigating something, hence the blocking of the account. That being said, it is extremely annoying when they never give any information as to why the account is suddenly blocked.

Try sending a PM to Symphonized, he might be able to help you get some info or an update about your case. If you're curious, that guy is their forum representative.

Exactly, there should be some level of transparency if a platform must investigate an account.  How can you be keeping a user in the dark for this long while holding back his or her money on your platform, it will only make the whole situation more frustrating and people might start being suspicious.

At least a simple explanation can actually go a long way, they can just say, it is a normal security review,  a betting pattern review, verification problem, etc. would give the user an idea of what's happening, rather than the same copy and paste reply every time.

You just state again what I already pointed out anyway.

Still waiting for some pictures of your betting history. Why did you ignore that? I mean it's not that hard to make a screenshot and upload it. If these bets are so legit, let everyone see what you bet on. If it's some shady looking games then I guess we know why the whole process takes so long.

Most probably the issue is related to the events on which you placed bets, and Stake isn't doing the investigation itself. That's why they aren't giving any timeline to you. What type of communication are you expecting until the investigation is done? They can only tell you regularly that 'we are still investigating your case'. You will know the reason behind this investigation when it will be completed.

You won't get any responses from the Stake team here. But the forum member would be able to give some inputs here if you post the screenshot of your bets.

Well it definitely paints some sort of picture. The Altuntas/Altuntas team alone consists of 2 players where one is 1only 5 years old and both are ranked around 2000th position. I mean betting 4 digit amounts on them definitely would raise some sort of suspicion, you can't deny that.

Can't even really find infos on some of those games. I would also check if everything was in order with these matches, especially the doubles game.

Unfortunately, no response has been received from them, and this is just your opinion. But my complaint isn't even about that, they can suspect whatever they want. My complaint is that I haven't received any response for two weeks

low tier tennis matches, high stake bets, 4 of the bets are a win (maybe 5, since you didn't share the 5th one), 2 of the wins are on the same game, this screams of match fixing or something like that.
so it's no surprise they are holding your wins until they make sure it's all in the clean.

I just don't understand what you're calling 'not normal'? Matches at this level are offered there every day in live there are sometimes 60–70 tennis matches. Right now you're basically straight-up accusing me of these matches being fixed and of me having had some kind of inside information. Yes, of course I'll wait, I don't control this situation. The people involved in this who say I need to wait how long would you yourselves wait for a situation like this to be resolved? And let me remind you that I wasn't even given a reason for the withdrawal being suspended

This is a standard process, your bets were flagged, and it is difficult to determine whether it was a fixed match even if they identify as unusual betting. To avoid legal proceedings, asking for your source of fund is a normal procedure as they cannot hold user funds indefinitely without proof and once you provide the details, you should be able to withdraw.
