What are your preparations for FIFA World Cup 2026?

I have got plans for the forthcoming FIFA world cup that will be starting next month, and my plan is a gambling plan, where I intend to budget the least $10 to $20 each week to bet on at least 3 games that has great potential of winning their respective matches, which targeting 5x to 10x profit of my initial capital. Because I'm very much sure that this FIFA world cup starts, a lot of people will definitely stake on their different countries to win, despite knowing if they have the potential or not, and for the fact that my country Nigeria was not qualified to play in this year's FIFA world cup, I'm going to be more analytical while selecting my games.

If you have a plan, why don't you at least roughly tell us which games you'll bet on? The group stage schedule is already known. To increase your capital by 5-10 times, you need to choose risky outcomes - the tournament is short. By the way, following the example of previous tournaments, many upsets will occur in the group stage, since the favorites do not really risk anything and can afford to make a mistake. Personally, I haven't yet chosen any potential matches for the group stage, I'm not even sure I want to bet on random outcomes, I prefer decisive games.

Good strategy, yeah, why not spend that kind of money and see how big it will grow.

However, just go with the flow mate, I know that it's good to have a target, but at least enjoy the game and not really looking on how big your return is. Because there is a question on what if you lost your capital? It's a long game and even if you analyzed all the games, there is still a chance that you can't meet your goal.

Some people are just being optimistic about this world cup, for me it's not different from those leagues matches, the only different is that all the players is retuning to thier various destination to represent their country, if not that I don't see any difference because the odds are just the same I mean the same settings.

I don't think I will be betting on world cup matches because I don't like how they play it doesn't play like that of league matches, although I might decide to try luck one faithful day but that should be when they must have finish up with group stage.

As for me i do not have any separate funds set outside for the upcoming FIFA world cup, but i have plans for it.  I usually win more during world cup than during the normal season, because i can easily predict the country that will win when two countries are to playing, judging from the country's squad, odds and so on.

In the upcoming world cup, if possible, i would not want to miss any match.  During the recent world cup that was played in Qatar i didn't miss any match.  I watched all matches from the day the world kicked start until the final between Argentina and France and Argentina won the FIFA world cup.

Funny, Im not sure I have any plans.

The games is expected to kick off 11th of June, by then I should be ready to enjoy the game. It's so sad my country didn't qualify for the world cub. If they did, maybe I would have been !ore interested.

But it's still fun, world cub is an amazing time in world of football, where we get to see different nations compete with each others and their champions gets to play against each other.

I also heard that messi would be available to play for his country, since he's s recovering. It will be a fun season for us to enjoy. I will only bet on a few to avoid risking too much.

I was surprised when I saw the part that the OP said he will gamble on all matches. I don’t really think gambling on all matches is necessary, there are some matches that you won’t have much knowledge about the teams playing, it’s better you just skip matches like that.
It’s just better to gamble only on necessary matches, if you decide to gamble in all matches then you will end up gambling blindly in some matches. There is no reward for anyone that gambles in all the matches.

Well it's a matter of personal perception so you don't have to say he is wrong because this is not the first person even saying this, so many people have been saying similar thing as they believe that the competition giants like Germany, Italy, Brazil and so many more are all not in their best state and these guys use to make the entire competition a whole lot fun with so much flare to expect but now everything just seems casual and filled with average players.

Going for all the games means outsourcing for more winning opportunities, punters prefer to spread money across multiple games whether or not they're aware of the team's internal analysis. At most it doesn't work out well, but, whenever it does go through, the gambler would be in for a huge win.

I did not prepare anything other than I wanted to enjoy the matches, moreover I was waiting for a big match in my own opinion or in other words the two teams had equally strong performances so it was likely that this match would be exciting. One of them in the Norway match that was lost by France made me furious, with France appearing with its core players while with Norway there were only a few core teams playing. So this match is not in accordance with what I expected, because what I expected was that both of them appeared with a full squad of core players but the reality was not.

I hope you didn't bet much as you mentioned? Although I don't know your strategy, it's obvious that there haven't been many good wins in this World Cup. So I think the gamblers who side a separate budget would be regret it now, that's why we don't need to have tseparate budget because gambling is purely unpredictable. I think it's the gamblers who are not in a hurry to make money from gambling who will escape this losses because this World Cup has been full of upsets, with the smaller teams dealing with the bigger ones.

I agree. Group stage matches can be very unpredictable, so I think chasing big odds by betting only on who will win or if the match will end in a draw isn’t always the best approach. I’d rather look at other opportunities like total corners, shots on target, or which team will have more corners or shots. Those usually follow a team’s style of play and recent form, so I think they can be a bit more reliable than just predicting the final score or who will win.

This has been observed in the last World Cup also. Where the weak teams are playing very well. In this World Cup too, many unexpected matches are being observed. And in the case of sports betting, this is a normal thing. Because the weak teams have played well many times in the past where the prediction performance of the past is not of much use. There are no preparation about any of them, afterall no matter how prepared you are, you might still lose, I have placed some bet on this world cup but trust me it's too hard to predict onlike the premier and champions league. And many people have been complaining about this world cup how it is very hard too. I have decided not to waste my money, although the odds are tempting but the truth is that I am not prepared for any more loses.

I am not in for so much preparation in this on going fifa world cup, I only have plan to enjoy myself when ever my favorite is playing. Moreover, I don't have to be on every matches since I won't be spending more due to some major project at hand. After a lot of world cup games I would say that it's not really going the way I anticipated but that's what makes it the game of football, tou cannot always know what to expect. i didn't start by going with any planned strategy i just focused more on gambling responsibly i.e staking an amount of money that I can afford to lose instead of just staking high amounts of money and betting carelessly on any match. I didn't really make preparations, doing all that is not really necessary.
