I first tried Upgrader and with the lowest risk, I won 3/4, so that's cool.
Later, I started trying battles. This is a bit more complicated..
I played with a bot and I feel a certain unfairness. When I create a battle, I have to buy boxes, and I didn't notice anything being added to the pot by the bot – but there was a lot going on, and I might have missed it.
The point is, though – I'm explaining here for those who will be playing for the first time – that even if you win a battle against a bot, or someone else, there's not necessarily anything to celebrate, because the prize pool can be much smaller than the amount of boxes you bought to create the battle.
It's a pretty silly feeling. On the one hand, you win and you're happy, but when you see the result – that is, the win – it turns out you lost (because winning pool is lower than that what you put in).
It takes some getting used to, and understand the game, but at first it's a strange clash of feelings. So be prepared for it!
If someone starts here, I recommend starting in the following order: Ugrader -> Boxes and then -> Battles
Anyway, it's a really cool experience and completely different from regular slots or unboxing games.
