I was playing in a government licensed casino from my country because they were essentially giving out free money so I signed up, and when I was playing live roulette, the dealer said my full name to Greet me. The dealer works in a third party company that simply has a contract with the casino to open their video feed. So I never expected they'd know my full name but the casino seems to be providing it automatically just because I entered the table. They never asked me for a pseudonym I could be called with on the table online, just sent forward my full name, which made me feel very weird and I ended up exiting the table because I didn't want to be receiving shout-outs with my real world name in case I won or lost.

I actually like the shout-out by the live dealer when I play online casino. Psychologically, it makes me feel that the game I play is less manipulated. So it’s not a recording, fake video, etc. Sometimes I ask the dealer to do something like touch their nose or other random stuff to verify that I am interacting with a real human. I know that the manipulation could still come from the machine involved in the game. But for me, it’s just a form of verification for less manipulation.
It’s weird when they shout out your real name. I’ve never had such an experience. They only shout out my username, not my real name. But I do have experience with this kind of data misuse by a casino. So I never play on local platforms, I mean casino websites that are operated illegally by local people. I only play casino games on global platforms. The thing is... I get many chats on WhatsApp offering bonuses from local casinos. Many different casinos. Maybe like 3-5 times a week. The worst part is, they know my name. I don’t know which casino platform I joined that misused my data and sold it to other casinos. Anyone else with the same problem as me?
