In an attempt to offset some of the negativity found within Reputation, I felt it would be cool to start a thread that fosters a bit of positivtiy. Threads like Your favorite Bitcointalk Member are super-fun in nature, and less exhaustive on the mind to read through. The goal of this thread is to facilitate day-to-day recognition, rather than something positive you would post about another forum user regarding something they are doing/they've done in the past. For example, I personally think NotATether's project that encourages new users to run a bitcoin node and get merits for it is an awesome initiative. 10/10! Helps bitcoin get more nodes and is a vector for new users to rank up. So, while I love it and give it all the kudos in the world, he started it over two years ago. This thread can be useful for those who want to recognize another member in a way that feels heavier than sending a +Merit/+Pulse, but lighter than writing someone positive trust feedback or adding them to your trust list. Maybe in a few years from now, this thread will be a handy resource/backlog of positive day-to-day things we as a community have to say about each other.

Local Rules:

  • Post something positive about another forum user that happened within the last 7 days.
  • Do not post "thank you", or any type of discussion reply, in this thread. Send a +Merit/+Pulse or PM them a thanks/reply instead.
  • Giving good advice, writing a great post, providing a quality service, or busting a scammer are all examples that get Kudos.
  • The post can be about something of small, medium, or large impact. It's fairly liberal in nature. Good is good no matter the size.

Oh, and it goes without mentioning but:

  • If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all.
  • There are 150+ pages in Reputation. Take your insults, beef, and negativity elsewhere.
  • Self-moderated because, unfortunately, some users can't read and/or can't help themselves.
