With the way government of all states are trying so hard to secure the Bitcoin and reserve policy especially the Trump government,  its possible that Bitcoin could be one o the reason why the war especially the recent ones are holding up.

So far, what usually causes war is conflicts of political, economic, resource, territory, or power interests. Bitcoin is more of a new financial development; bitcoin can make one free from foreign economic pressure. Because the decentralized, non-centralized system makes Bitcoin's condition stronger. What they will debate about regarding Bitcoin apparently cannot be used as a reason to start a war. IMO

With the way government of all states are trying so hard to secure the Bitcoin and reserve policy especially the Trump government,  its possible that Bitcoin could be one o the reason why the war especially the recent ones are holding up.
If there is an attempt to maintain a single hegemony in the financial world, then all countries are trying to hold Bitcoin. Some are trying to do it directly, some are secretly. However, in the United States, they are directly trying to make Bitcoin a reserve currency because they know that Bitcoin will be one of the centers of financial power in the coming world. Currently, many governments around the world are showing interest in Bitcoin. Because it is a new type of digital currency. Bitcoin has not yet been accepted as a full-fledged "reserve policy". Wars are usually due to political power, geopolitics, control of resources or security. But Bitcoin is a decentralized digital asset, it is not under the control of any single country. Therefore, there is no logic in considering it as the main reason for war, but those who deposit more Bitcoin will generally be ahead of others on this platform.

What is a strong reason to make bitcoin one of the causes of war, I don't think there is anything specific here because when looking at the wars that are happening now for several countries in conflict it all boils down to power and territorial struggles and almost all countries that have problems now refer to the same thing the seizure of a territory as a form of domination for their benefit and at the same time showing their power and this will not exist for bitcoin.

Here bitcoin will not be able to become a cause of war because what they expect from bitcoin is even against their fiat system and of course they also cannot claim bitcoin as a form of patent for authorization.
Because in this case bitcoin remains a separate part and cannot be claimed by anyone even though we claim to be the owner but it is only a part of what we buy no more than that.

Bitcoin cannot be the cause of any war. War is a matter of political power with a country, a territorial issue and a war is created due to some internal reasons with that country, for example, in the conflict between America and Iran, America has exerted the influence of war on Iran due to the uranium reserves in Iran, because when uranium is stored in Iran, Iran has the possibility of making a nuclear bomb, which America cannot tolerate at all and this is the reason for the war. If there was a war over Bitcoin, if Bitcoin could be caught, touched and had a specific shape and there was only one Bitcoin, then everyone would pay attention to it and there would be a war because the one who can show power will be the one.

True that many government institutions are now in talks for creation of their own Bitcoin Strategy Reserve including Trump administration as part of their strategy. But Bitcoin is provably not the sole reason for that situation to happen.

Wars is usually driven by geopolitical conflicts, resources control and power struggles. Bitcoin is just a tool or currency that can bypass the sanctions given by some powerful strong countries like US. Also Bitcoin signals independence that's why I don't see the point for Bitcoin to be the reason of war.

I don't think war can be caused by Bitcoin as wars have always existed due to political influence and territorial disputes and power struggle and competition for resources. While Bitcoin could be a key financial asset and governments might consider keeping stockpiles of bitcoin. Countries will not wage wars for the sole purpose of bitcoin. Unlike oil or land or minerals. Bitcoin is not under the control of a single individual or group and cannot be physically controlled. While it could be a factor impacting economic competition. Drawing an overly direct link to current conflicts with Bitcoin appears to be a bit of an exaggeration.

I think you are overthinking Bitcoin because it reverses the true cause-and-effect relationship. Bitcoin is not a cause of war, but rather a tool used by countries involved in conflict to fund wars outside of the traditional banking system. Countries economically isolated by war often use Bitcoin to circumvent international sanctions and make anonymous cross-border payments. This is a financing tactic during the war, not the reason that triggered the war.

If I may say, Bitcoin is a very neutral financial technology. Although Bitcoin technology is often exploited by certain parties to finance military operations amidst global isolation, Bitcoin's function is nothing more than a transaction medium, not the primary motive for war. To better understand, please monitor for yourself how the United States regulates Bitcoin storage through the White House[1] or read analyses from institutions like Binance Research regarding Bitcoin correlation with geopolitical risks and war.[2]

I think what OP is asking is whether Bitcoin could ever become important enough that nations would be willing to go to war over it. In the same way they have manufactured conflicts just to seize oil, mineral or territory. He did not mean to suggest that bitcoin would be the direct cause of any war

Although Bitcoin has enormous potential, its strategic importance to the economy cannot be compared to that of oil or mineral. So the scenario of countries going into conflict over Bitcoin is unlikely to happen.

That is Capital No. Mostly the Middle East War. There are other factors comprises the out break of the war. And bitcoin is not close to any of them. First of all, it is for balance of power, and nuclear weapons dispute in the middle East. And ancient historical disputes between Israel and Iran. Those are some of the factors spearheaded the conflict in the middle East.

Bitcoin can't be a reason for war between countries because everyone has a right to acquire Bitcoin and also to establish a Bitcoin reserve. To every war, there is always a cause for it.

The only thing I can say is that Bitcoin is giving freedom to every nation, which they can rely on no matter the sanctions that are being issued. Most of the countries that are going through a crisis only accept Bitcoin as an alternative just to make some transactions.

I don’t think Bitcoin is the cause of wars. Wars usually happen because of politics, power, territory, resources, religion, or economics. Bitcoin may sometimes be used during conflicts for payments or moving money, but that is different from causing the conflict itself. Blaming Bitcoin for war is like blaming the internet for crime. It’s a tool, not the root cause.  Grin Grin Grin

Nah, I just don't want to believe it has anything to do with it.
How do you even come up with this because it clearly doesn't relate at all?. Okay, I understand that Iran made it clear that they were going to start accepting Bitcoin for transit fee, but that's literally a whole new payment system that they choose to adopt, considering the fact that they had to bypass other systems. I don't even think Bitcoin was ever part of the discussion, not until recently. So, Bitcoin is not a valid reason imo... Only governments knows why they enjoy fighting and disrupting the peace of the world.

I don’t really agree with this. Wars don’t continue just because governments are trying to secure Bitcoin or build reserves. Bitcoin can be access by anyone why would they fight for it. Unlike crude oil which is not available for all country but needed to run a country so if some weak country have crude oil powerful country try to make it their by force. So most wars happening because of mostly politics, power and resources. And so I don't think Bitcoin has any link to war.

Considering that no single entity has the power to manipulate or control the btc market, I don't think btc would cause the rift among countries and head to a war. That is true, they have other tangible materials that are on the line why this war in this digital age. I thought war between countries is already over. But here we are, we still live in a hostile environment, it only changed its form. So in today's set-up, I don't think btc would be one of the causes as I've said earlier, there's no one who can totally control this currency. And as you said, no one can hold it literally because it is digital. The reason why it can't be the source of their conflict.

It’s unlikely that Bitcoin itself is a direct cause of any war. At most, it could play a minor role as a financial tool, but conflicts are usually driven by political, economic, and geopolitical factors rather than a single technology.

During the year 2018 mining was legalized, and it was considered a separate industry. Government provided separate tariff for the mining with terms and conditions. Here the miners need to sell the mined bitcoins to the central bank of Iran. Through this the government was able to accumulate good sum of bitcoin and the same was used to bypass traditional payments. This is very small compared to the resources Iran holds, for which the war begun and getting continued.  Another thing, 85% of miners in Iran is running the miners illegally. USA needs control over Iran, and the same isn't happening any near.

Lol! Seriously? Connecting stuff like this to BTC is just silly and nonsensical frankly speaking. Literally anyone with a half decent brain knows for a fact that this entire useless war is primarily because of ego clashes which resulted in oil warfare.

US underestimated Iran severely and got spanked on the international stage. BTC is actually helping both those countries in several critical ways.

It would be foolish for a country to initiate a war on a currency that it doesn't have full control of.  Countries get into war because they know that they will get something from that war, or they can control something very important if they win that war.

We all know that the government will have a hard time controlling Bitcoin, and no government is foolish enough to take arms that they can't have full control, it's a loss - loss scenario for them. So I believe no country will get into a war because of Bitcoin.

I'm sure you're not asking seriously Or perhaps you genuinely don't understand why wars have occurred, from ancient times to the present. The primary causes of wars have always been the same time after time the struggle for power, resources, ideology and geopolitical dynamics. So, there's no correlation with Bitcoin especially since Bitcoin has only been around for nearly two decades while wars in the Middle East have existed for a long time.

So, saying Bitcoin causes war is like blaming the internet for fraud, blaming cash for corruption and blaming knives for murder. Bitcoin is simply a tool often used in war by countries at war or affected by it. Besides serving as a national reserve it can also be used to combat inflation, accept Bitcoin donations during war and some countries even resort to using crypto for transactions due to sanctions. So in fact Bitcoin has always been the best option for conducting transactions and as a store of value.
