Bitcointalk - gateway time out error

Anyone else having problems accessing Bitcointalk?? recently...

It was fine a few minutes ago (10-15), but now I'm having issues. I was on chrome when the error 504 hit me, and even after several attempts I didn't go away. Until I had to clear data and change browser, wait it out, and then, I was able to post about it.

Temporary bug/glitch/error?  



Got another one at 2026-05-22 17:53:54 UTC, with a different error message.

Got same too, but I don't think clearing your browser solved it, it was a general issue with the forum host.  I guess it got fixed immediately...

I witnessed it while I was accessing the forum with my PC. I just have to leave and attend to other things now. This is the first thread I'm opening after that error. I did not clear my browsers, but it's already off and working fine.

I haven't encountered any problems recently. Everything is fine since I started exploring the forum 4 hours ago.

What I believe is that Cloudflare is down with your current server, and according to https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/, they partially rerouted some servers, possibly including one of yours, which caused your recent issue accessing the forum.  

If you are still having some issues or this error keeps popping up, I suggest temporarily use a VPN.

What I believe is that Cloudflare is down with your current server, and according to https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/, they partially rerouted some servers, possibly including one of yours, which caused your recent issue accessing the forum.  

If you are still having some issues or this error keeps popping up, I suggest temporarily use a VPN.

If Cloudflare was down, don't you think the error would indicate that?

The screenshot says: "You (working)" -> "Cloudflare (working)" -> "BitcoinTalk (Error)"

Error code 521


Anyways, the forum does get down from time to time. I personally don't see the point in creating a new topic every time this happens unless the error persists for hours.

I was hoping i wasn't alone, hence creating the topic.

While the error isn't persisting for hours, it does showed up a couple of times. Not once, not twice, a couple more.

Anyway, I'll lock this topic in a few minutes (10 to 15), since I got what I wanted...cheers all..
