About XCash Klassic

XCash Klassic (XCK) is a privacy-focused Layer 1 blockchain and cryptocurrency derived from the original X-CASH project, launched in 2018 as a fork of Monero.

The project continues development of the original blockchain ecosystem while modernizing infrastructure, wallet software, documentation, governance tools, and network services. XCash Klassic combines CryptoNote privacy technology with Delegated Proof of Private Stake (DPoPS), supporting delegated validation, reserve-proof-based voting, and community governance.

XCash Klassic launched with no premine, no airdrop, and no token sale.

Project History

XCash Klassic is an independent continuation of the original X-CASH blockchain ecosystem. The project focuses on maintaining and modernizing the network while preserving its privacy-focused foundation and community-driven development model.

Fair Launch

  • No premine
  • No airdrop
  • No ICO, IEO, or IDO
  • No token sale

Exchange Status

XCK is currently not listed on any centralized or decentralized exchange. Current development efforts are focused on infrastructure, wallet software, documentation, and ecosystem growth.

Key Features

  • Privacy-focused Layer 1 blockchain
  • CryptoNote-based transaction privacy
  • Delegated Proof of Private Stake (DPoPS) consensus
  • Reserve-proof-based voting system
  • Community governance and validator participation
  • Optional private and publicly verifiable transaction modes
  • Open-source development

XCK Utility

The native asset of the network, XCK, is used for:

  • Transaction fees
  • Voting and governance participation
  • Validator and network participation
  • Transfers between users on the XCash Klassic network
  • Applications and services built within the ecosystem

Consensus and Governance

XCash Klassic utilizes Delegated Proof of Private Stake (DPoPS), a consensus mechanism originally developed within the X-CASH ecosystem. Network participants can vote using reserve-proof-based mechanisms that allow balances to be verified without requiring funds to leave wallet custody.

The network combines delegated validation, verifiable voting, and community governance to support decentralized participation while maintaining strong privacy protections.

Current Development Priorities

  • Wallet enhancements and user experience improvements
  • Network infrastructure modernization
  • Governance and validator tooling
  • Expanded technical documentation
  • Developer resources and ecosystem tooling
  • Wrapped XCK interoperability initiatives
  • Ongoing DPoPS consensus improvements

Network Information

Ticker: XCK
Network: XCash Klassic Mainnet
Technology Base: CryptoNote
Consensus: Delegated Proof of Private Stake (DPoPS)

Open Source Development

XCash Klassic is developed as an open-source project. Community participation, testing, feedback, infrastructure contributions, and code contributions are welcome.

Additional announcements, development updates, releases, and ecosystem information will be posted in this thread.
