A teenage girl started a relationship with one of the teenage guys on Snapchat, travelled to visit him but what that happened was that the girl was rapped by the guy and one other guy. The two guys (15 years of age) and one other guy (14 years of age) had also rapped another person before which has also been known in the court.

The worst thing is that they videoed this girl (that see the court order as injustice) and sent the video to social media. This is more than the guys are 15 year teenagers, it is an evil intent.

The court ordered the 15 year defendants to go for three-year youth rehabilitation order (YRO) and the 14 year teenager to go for 18-month YRO.

The victim said why going to court if that is the no punishment that the court will tell the teenagers to go for. Some reputed people are also supporting the victims. I hope the two girls will get justices, it is not about someone to be a teenager, I see the teenagers guys as someone that could have turned to a serial rapists if no court intervention, but the court intervention is not good enough.

Alot of times rape and similar violations could be a consequence of being sexually promiscuous. It's important that kids are taught to avoid sex before marriage. Nevertheless, if it was indeed promiscuity then the rape is enough punishment for the girls, the attackers deserve equal or higher punishments such as forced labor or caning, which should be done publicly for the public humiliation of the victim/victims.

I think the rape victims may have refused sex due to the filming.  They likely made up their minds to offer sex before the visitation since agreeing to meet the opposite genders in private typically suggest accepting to engage in sexual intercourse. If I was the law, I would have side of the judgement which punishes the parents in a way or better still councel them about good parenting how why they should monitor their kids especially when thy are within such age brackets. The law may decide to just remand these boys and take them for rehabilitation only after the shameful act they've committed and the parents will begin to complain about justice not well served but you also have to remember the perpetrators of the act are not yet adults and it is within the purview of the law not to take them to prison or do worse judgements on them. So prevention is always better than cure and parents should be strongly encouraged to ensure they teach their kids online safety and caution especially meeting of people they know and don't know from social media to avoid incidents like this or even worst of it which would have possibly happened.

I see this case as a very sensitive one and I know alot of people will probably be angry or disappointed at the outcome as what happened to the young girl was a very serious one because it involves physical assault, filming of the act and sharing it online. These series of acts go beyond ordinary teenage mistakes and enters into bigger deliberate harmful act. But what else do you think the court will have done, to send them to adult jail and be treated like adults when the law believes teenagers still have the capacity of being rehabilitated even when serious crimes like this should carry stronger consequences nevertheless the other parties will also have a case to make which is very strong and hence the reason why the court chose to push them to the Youth Rehabilitation Orders instead of sending them to the prison.

I feel that these guys are too young to go to jail because you go to jail from 18 years old. They might later, be sent to jail when they're of age because that's how it's done. Despite the boy is still a minor but i think their is a way how minors are being treated when they commit  such offence. I cant blame the victim for this terrible situation because if she had suspected some thing like this may happen she wouldn't have good . What we must be talking about is the equal YRO for both the victims and the rapists because all of them need rehabilitation, I must say. There is no way the offenders wont get a jail sentence. I believe the sentence to a rehabilitation center is to teach them to reshape their path, but once they are of the age to go to jail, the case will be brought up again, and the victims will get justice. Even though the boy is a minor, there should be a separate legal system for minors in such crimes. Therefore, it would not be right to completely release him just because of his young age. There is no room for blaming the victim for this horrific incident, because if he had understood in advance that something like this could happen, he would certainly not have gone to that situation or would have been careful.

In my opinion, since the boy is a minor, he can be kept in a juvenile correctional facility or a safe place designated for minors instead of being sent to a regular prison. Because the crime is so serious that he should not be easily released by looking at it lightly. Age needs to be considered, but the seriousness of the crime should also be taken into consideration.

If I was there judge, I will react differently with deep thoughts of reasonings.
So the guys were just teens of 14 and 15 years of age, does that mean the victimized(raped) girls are below the guys age? If yes, then she should also be lawfully justified or her parents (guidance) should be prosecuted over the ten girls nature of having a boyfriend of her age.

To be honest this guys are turning this rape thing into a habit because having done it before and were caught and went to court on the same issue of rape and then coming out to still commit the same crime is either it has started started being there habit or the punishment of the court was just nothing serious compared to the crime they committed that's why they could go back and commit same crime without thinking of the consequences if they are being caught. In some parts of the world where people take some of this crimes seriously they wouldn't know yet if you are up to 18 years of age or not you probably would have been beaten up before handed offer to the police and then to Court. Physical assault or violence
Child abuse

From the article, the girl is 16 years old. The two boys are 15 and 14 years old respectively. They are all in the same age bracket that should be monitored strictly by their parents but unfortunately, parents failed to keep their responsibilities. When you give teenagers access to mobile devices without monitoring their activities online, this is the kind of result you should expect. Poor parenting is at play here.

The girl parents are to be blamed more. They did not only failed to monitor her online activities but also failed to monitor her movements. What was her excuse before leaving home to visit those guys? You are thinking in the same line of direction like me for also recognizing the lapses of the victim and the victim's parents rather than ignoring such information too. Some of these girls will go through relationship and psychological problems for the rest of their lives.

I think they should be sentenced when they get to eighteen. But the judge should take into consideration their behaviour from now till they get to eighteen. Harsher punishment should be pronounced if they commit such a crime again.
