Over the last 10+ years i have watched a lot of videos on how to make money, get rich, i made money online on the digital game habbo hotel by running a "illegal" (was 'legal' back then) casino.
I kept pushing, pushing, and still ended with 0 money on my bank account. People online simply don't just pay. *(This was after I used the habbo profits for rent and slowly sold it all)
I have noticed the exact same pattern in bitcoin. I even started with dogecoin because i didn't know enough to invest in bitcoin and thought that dogecoin would probably be more valuable in a shorter period. I invested 20 euros, waited and it rose to 0,30 per 1000. I sold all on the dogecoin forum within an hour, made 80euros.60 profit.
I was so hyped I just gave up to earn money. It was too much for me and I couldn't control myself.
I saw the same exact thing with bitcoin on a way larger scale. Everyone jumped in on the hypetrain and people just ignored the manuals, guides on how to farm and simple paid their irl currency for bitcoins. A get rich quick scheme.
It worked. people got rich, some people sold earlier like me because they needed money IRL.
Now. Several years later the crypto world is 'dead'. No digital trades, no hype, no community, just greed and ignorance. No frabrance.
It is like all the original rules are gone and it is just an extra option now. Not a way.
Nobody buys/trades, just boring talking and rich people sitting on their money, afraid of the dips and in constant panic mode.
I know that the digital world is scary, lots of scammers and hackers, so that is probably why most 80%+ simply do not enter that space at all. (I get that, i mean,. imagine having 1m+ digital currency and you cant tell anyone having to hide it.I think it is sad and not the future of value.
When value has been given, people should be rewarded equally. Now it is just 99% of the internet is free, 1% is paid, low quality.
Same as real life; most is bought in china so you pay at least x4 the value, no honesty, wrong sizing, bad quality, because they all want the get-rich quick schemes.
Artisans are still the same, asking so much money for their quality product 70% of the civizalition ignores it, not worth it
I have seen so many digital artists on youtube sharing their crafts for free making minimum money. Simply because the people are not rich, have nothing to spare or are afraid to spend it risking their anonimity.
Perhaps I have found a secret layer of the economy, afraid rich people and knowledgable poor people, i mean, ted talks are free, to visit one costs $5,000 to $12,500. Don't you see how much that is? I remember bitcoin being 50 euros and i didn't buy it because i thought it was too much.
The scale of value is broken and I don't know what to do
ps: i can keep going and talk about the prices on etsy, but i think the general bitcoin community knows digital prices.(and value)
