How much of the functions here do you apply?

I'm not confident enough to call myself a master of the forum, despite being a member for nearly a decade. Using those features is only optional for regular discussion, and to be honest, I rarely do. It's better to thoroughly mastering the forum rules; this will not only prevent you from violating them, but also contribute to reporting violations.

Since this forum is about discussion, we must learn how to post and reply here effectively. Like already mentioned on this thread that there are not much functions available here. There are few options which you can use while posting new topics or replying to existing topics. The best things about this forum is that there are not many features to distract us. If you are posting then just write it down in the editor and post it, this forum is very easy to use.

It is important that we know all the functions that are available, but we must also be minded that it is not compulsory that we make use of all this functions except they are being applicable for us on certain conditions for use, but when we are aware of them, we will definitely know which area should we apply the use of one function of the other, that everything is there does not mean we must engage them all at the same time except you need arises.

True, knowing alot or many functions is useful but the important thing is knowing the right place and time to use them. You can just starting using every features just because it's available. Most times people that understands the system are those that knows how to use and choose the right tool for the appropriate situation instead of making things complicated than necessary

Your registration on the OP forum allows you to already decide on all the functions of the forum in order to feel like a fish in water. For beginners, it can be difficult to find the right sections and topics, but in addition to the functions themselves, such as search, the forum has many additional sites created specifically for convenience, allowing you to feel comfortable.
I think nowadays, for those who use the Internet, such "difficulties" should not cause problems, and the forum is not some kind of gadget that requires the ability to use it to its fullest, but just a place where you need to read, communicate, and get some useful knowledge.

It is not that I use the features most of the time because it has a particular time and things I want to do at a certain time that make me have interest in using a certain feature that's available on this forum, but I believe I have enthusiasm for BitList.co, Ninjastic, bpip.org, and TalkImg.
It's been a while since I used any of the listed features, and the last one I used was TalkImg

The last time I checked, this forum doesn't make anything that's useless to be available for members of this forum, everything on here have their purposes, it's left for newbies to figure the ones the like the most out by themselves.

When I was a newbie this forum search option helps me solved some problems that saved me time instead of creating a new topic about them, I will advice that newbies should use the search option for any difficulties that are facing.

If no solution is available then they can create a new topic for solutions, you will likely get faster answers if you just stick with the search option.

It's been 10 years in this Forum and I've used all the Features, nothing special and the same as in other Forum Features.
It's not really about the features that matters, but how the interaction and discussion in this forum has gone up to date.

Regarding the features in this forum, if by default it is still very minimal, this is the reason why there are several tools that are made to make this forum more complete and comfortable to use Such as

I find it hard to believe someone hasn't interacted with any SMF-based forum before. Even if that's true, the UI is quite intuitive as long as you know some English. There's always an option of clicking every single thing if you wanted to try them, or just read the pinned thread which contains guide and whatnot. It's not really that complicated. At worst you can use translate option to read what does this button mean.

If you're here long enough you'll probably stick with clicking or browsing a specific board. Sooner or later you'll be familiar with the menu and buttons. Even the custom feature like merit system isn't that hard to understand.

Is there need to know how other use the features in this forum?
I think it is simple and user friendly with multiple bottoms and features to make navigation easier for even new users. There are local boards for some of us that did not understand English language which is the official language here I think, so that you can interact with others in your native language.

The main aim of this forum is to share knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, therefore find a way to know how you can navigate the forum in a way that will be easier for you.

you can check about the BPIP it make things easier if you install the extension in your PC, some features there are easier to understand.

I still think many people only use a small part of the forum and ignore a lot of useful features that can actually help them to understand things better. You see some people mostly use the search function, notification section, profile history and different boards to follow topics that interest them. Those simple features alone already make navigating the forum much easier. So the more time you spend exploring the forum

The forum still work well independently without the third party tools. But to be very honest, there are some of the tools that are so important. Such as telegram notifier. You will need this to efficiently navigate the forum and get mentions and quotes.

Another important tool is the img host. We had ran into problems in the past from Imgur image host until Joker gave us talkimg. That tool saved our ass and now Bitlist has given us an alternative.

I believe this are the basic ones I use and I really appreciate their developers.

I actually don't like to rely on on third party tool like with the forum, I can use it well enough so why do I need to connect my forum account to Telegram?

Telegram since the arrest of Pavel Durov in Paris, France, and their messenger's ToS change after that, no longer a truly privacy messenger platform. Your information on Telegram will be provided to governments under legal request. Even I don't do anything wrong to fall into such legal situation, I concern about privacy when using Telegram.

This forum is unlike any other social media platform and most of the available features are geared towards discussions about topics we deem important. This forum has helped me understand investing in Bitcoin and indirectly, has also made us more interested in it. I may not fully understand the other related functions you're referring to, but if you're browsing and searching for something relevant, you might be able to use the appropriate search options, as mentioned previously. This forum is quite useful for those of us involved in Bitcoin investment, as we can directly discuss with fellow members who are much more knowledgeable about Bitcoin's history.
