Yes I plan on sticking to a strict DCA plan. And the reason for that is the same reason as to why I maintain conviction during bear markets - Experience.

Experience has taught me what to do and what not to do during bear markets. And now I am only doing that which has been profitable and not doing those things that have lost me a lot of money, especially in the long run.

But unfortunately, most people need to experience this kind of painful loss themselves before they start understanding... I once was one of those people and now... I am not.

I have experienced 3 Bitcoin bear markets and have had their various experiences, so I do not need any convictions as regards to this bear market. No panic at all because I understand Bitcoin, and I know this is not even worse than what I have witnessed: the 2022 bear market,market the Luna and FTX collapse; nothing is even happening towards creating fear in the market than that of the 2022 catastrophic events.

Nothing is hard here to understand, the rule is simple. When you genuinely understand Bitcoin no headline could shake you, because you could evaluate fear against actual fundamentals instead of feeling it, because you have the knowledge.

Although be practical when investing, it is true that with conviction you can make good profit because you now have the will, but you should only invest what you can forget about for the next 3 to 5 years. If you keep an eye on it, you will eventually sell and use it.

Think long-term, focus on DCA, and of course, trust the coin that you bought.

Your trust would be different if you bought Bitcoin Vs. you bought some random meme coin out there. If you bought Bitcoin, you will believe that in the long run, it will go higher in price and you trust yourself, and that will give you the conviction. On the other hand, your conviction will be different if you bought some random meme coin out there that has a low market cap at all. You simply don't trust that meme coin at all.

Just focus on the long-term, just focus on buying the top tokens, and just trust the process. If it's time for you to sell it, sell it, and vice-versa. Doing DCA during the bear market is the best strategy that we can do, but you said that you're new to investing, so many will recommend here to just focus on buying and accumulating Bitcoin and Ethereum maybe. There are great opportunity for those that are there for long hodling before they can trade their BTC, because it will allow them to make decision that will make their wish come to reality. When you are hodling for long years it help the trader not to jump into trading when the price is low, because there are some stage the market price will get to before they will start trading because they know that profit will come plenty.

If you zoom in and look only the last 1 month, then you are going to see bitcoin doing very badly. But if you zoom out, the more you zoom out the better bitcoin would be looking. So this shows that if you want to feel zero fear during a bear market, then all you have to do is look at the market. There were so many bear markets in the bitcoin world before, 2015-2018-2022 and now in 2026. This happens all the time, every 4 years, we crash big time. What makes you feel better about it would be seeing the recovery afterwards.

For a trader, bearish or bullish market does not change anything in analysis because all traders just need predictable volatility and here predictable is up to your level of experience and depth of knowledge in generating signal.
