ZERO TRACE
Privacy-First Crypto Swap Aggregator

The problem with existing swap tools:

Every aggregator sorts by price.
Nobody sorts by privacy policy.

Before you swap, you should know:
  • Does this exchange log your IP?
  • At what amount do they trigger KYC?
  • Can they freeze your funds?
  • Which providers never ask for ID?

What ZERO TRACE does differently:

KYC Rating System (A to D):
  • A = Never KYC under any circumstances
  • B = KYC only under specific conditions
  • C = KYC possible depending on amount
  • D = Can freeze funds pending verification

Every exchange shows its Log-Policy
before you commit to anything.

XMR Bridge Mode:

Two separate swaps routed through Monero
as intermediate layer:

Code:
Coin A → XMR → Coin B

Breaks the on-chain link between source
and destination coin completely.
No direct blockchain connection between
input and output.

Technical details:
  • Backend: Trocador.app API (fully transparent)
  • Pure HTML/CSS/JS — zero frameworks
  • No analytics, no tracking scripts
  • No account required
  • No email, no KYC
  • 800+ coins supported

Live tool:

cetoc.org/zero/zerotrace.html

Built as a side project after years of
frustration with existing swap UX.
Feedback and criticism welcome.

Not financial advice.
Use at your own risk.
Always verify addresses before sending.

Feedback and criticism welcome.
I've never tried Swapuz, but considering that some users have complained on different platforms [e.g., Reddit and KYCnot] about being required to undergo KYC while also experiencing delays [for those who have submitted the required documents], their "A rating" should be changed to something else.

BTW, instead of filtering the results by the "Minimum KYC rating", I think it'd be better if the "Minimum" part didn't appear in the results.

Thank you for the feedback.

Regarding Swapuz: ratings come directly
from Trocador API — I'll forward your
report to them for review.

Regarding "Minimal" label under B:
I see exactly what you mean — I'll
clean up the filter labels in the
next update.

Appreciate the input from a veteran
member.

I used Swapuz several times before. Before the order itself, I contacted their support and asked for an AML check from their side, so that we would not get into a situation where my funds could be frozen. They checked and confirmed that my coins are clean enough for their exchange.
After that, all swaps went through without any problems. Let me mention that I had a problem with the same funds at another exchange, the coins were connected to eXch.
I don't know if their policy has changed in the meantime.

Thank you both for the valuable input.

I contacted Trocador directly regarding
Swapuz after SFR10's comment.

Their explanation: Swapuz receives an A
rating only when using their own liquidity
for specific coins and under a certain
amount. Otherwise the rating is B.
Trocador monitors exchanges continuously
and downgrades or suspends them when
AML block rates increase.

This context is useful — the rating
is conditional, not absolute. I will
look into displaying this distinction
more clearly in the interface.

examplens — your approach of contacting
exchange support for an AML pre-check
before swapping is excellent advice
for users dealing with funds that may
have touched flagged services.

IIRC, any platform that was relying on AMLBot at that time gave false positive results [due to an ulterior motive] for eXch-related funds, so the outcome always depends on which AML software they're using [unfortunately, some of them don't even mention the name of the software used for automated checks].
- Their support has also explicitly mentioned "KYC procedures are sometimes required".

Thank you for the additional context
on AMLBot and eXch — very useful
for understanding how these ratings
can be misleading.

And noted on Swapuz support explicitly
mentioning KYC — that confirms the
rating should reflect conditional
status more clearly.

Will update the interface accordingly.

I'm talking about my experience with Swapuz (it was about a year ago), and I still have logs of communication with support. I found information on Orangefren that they offer the possibility of an AML check before the swap, and that's why I did so. So, at that moment it was the most important information from their business rules.
I will not go into who uses which AML checker.
