The market today is largely different from the 2016-2021 era, the market is now bigger and more saturated with much more projects competing for investors and liquidity. People now do more research and trade often based on risk management hedging and quantitative strategies rather than pure hype, many people experienced painful losses during previous volatility from scam projects as such the market has adapted, investors ask in-depth questions about utility, revenue, tokenmics and sustainability before considering any project, no one wants to invest is shitty projects anymore.

That being said, I wouldn’t cross out the chance such massive bullish runs in the future, what has changed is that buying of any random coin and getting rich overnight and the downside of losing massively if the reverse is the case. The market has become more efficient, competitive and more professional.

Hype and memes are still huge drivers. Plenty of folks are still apeing into random coins, getting rich quick or getting wrecked overnight, especially in bull runs. Scams and shitty projects definitely haven't disappeared either. It's improved in some ways, but it's not as professional or efficient as it sounds yet.

I think your entire line of reasoning is backwards!  You say that in those days, "the teams were working hard to make their project top notch."  Really?  That has to be a joke!  Back then, it was a field full of trash projects with obvious copy-paste scams, and worthless meme coins.  The thing that has changed since then is how incredibly naive retail investors have been, such that they will throw their money at anything with a whitepaper attached.  Thankfully, the market finally grew up.

We're on the same page mate, we know how it feels like to become an investor or even a trader in the market. Having to see a lot of things going on weigh beyond our power and doing nothing, I think we should be able to know our routes in the market because it's completely different when we analyze the market and when we're practically doing what we know in the market.

The market have change and so are the investors, alot of things have changed and only the best traders in the market are milking it heavily although they do record losses but is it accountable? Cryptocurrency is no longer getting the exact same attention as before, investors have impact knowledge and knowing how they are able to trade, definitely not the good path to follow. We must know that each day the world is becoming more wicked, as greed continues to grow in our society. However people tend to focus more on rug pull and way to satisfy their selfish benefits that is why you will barely see coins performing the way it used to. In fact, making money from cryptocurrency may seem easy at one point, but maybe it is not. In my own opinion,the crypto market is growing exponentially compared to past years where most people lost their trust for the crypto market.Talking of altcoins,I think those altcoins has improved a bit although I’m not a fan of altcoins but compared to the past years where their projects weren’t solid.So in my own perspective,I would say that the crypto market is no longer the same in the sense that they’ve improved on their errors compared to the past years,but that shouldn’t give you the assurance that all altcoins are 100% legit and worthy of returning a decent profit.Anyways,all thanks to the existence of bitcoin that has been the most successful and reliable in the crypto market.

Why would you be surprised about this thread when it is a perfectly valid observation? The current cycle has been quite different from the past ones, and the user is looking into the reasons why. Many people who have hoped for a repeat of past altcoin seasons have been surprised that it never came. Some altcoins performed well but only mildly, and most were very bad and this is quite different from past cycles where there were strong altcoin seasons. Even Bitcoin's performance has been unusual during this cycle, so people are trying to figure out what is different and why.

That is the secret that most folks don't understand, without being told you can clearly see that there's a difference between those shitcoins and Bitcoin. If you take your time to look at Thier moment, it is true that bitcoin is very volatile but it doesn't add up to 7% in a day. As for those meme coins or shit coins some might even go beyond that just within a Short period of time, the increase alone is supposed to give us enough reason to believe that there's sometime fishy about those coin but due to the fact that we are too eager to make profit from our investment we don't bother to know the reason behind the massive increase in their value.

This is only true if you are interested in Bitcoin primarily to get some fiat out of it, otherwise it is not true. If you are interested in Bitcoin for the sovereignty and freedom that Bitcoin provides, the best time to buy has always historically been today. More people have missed out a lot for waiting for this than people have regretted buying it. The prices will do what it does, markets are heavily manipulated but markets can't change the fact that Bitcoin's utility can not be compared to anything. No shitcoin can even provide a small amount of what Bitcoin actually does. They are mostly centralized shitcoins or otherwise broken in many ways.

I value Bitcoin more than the word crypto. Crypto is a general term used to describe those shitcoins trying to be like Bitcoin. Bitcoin is valuable for years now. Whoever holds Bitcoin will forever be happy because he has something of great value in his possession. Unlike crypto aka shitcoins. It can lose value anytime.
