Some of them buy Bitcoin but others don't. We don't know who they are because they don't reveal themselves or telling public they buy Bitcoin. They might aware of the potentially of scamming or stealing so they close their mouth and secure their wallet but no exact numbers how big politicians who buy Bitcoin so we can just guess that they also buy Bitcoin. Each of them have their reason doing that but they don't tells anyone.

That's true but many societies like Nigeria where corruption and bribes is normal, Politicians uses advantage of Parties they belong to escape from arrest by security for their crime. So I think the only easy way most of them can easily hide their funds could be crypto wallets and other flying savings.

It would be risky to operate on the digital level because it would be easily traceable given the insurgenece of modern technology. The most plausible outcome would be saying in cash maybe stored under ground or in a safe, other options could be saving in gold or other valuables that could as well appreciate over time. Also, buying shares would only pose no harm when it is registered under an alias that would not trace it back to them.

These politicians have their way around all of this and would know how best to secure their stolen funds. This is because they have better access to information and have control over the affairs of the country too.

Personally I don't trust politicians so I believe some of them are having bitcoin investment hidden from the public so that they don't get much attention on theirselves, knowing that they are public figures and there will be more concentration on how they utilize government funds in their disposal, there are many people that have invested in Bitcoin with huge amount of money but we don't seem to know of them because they are not coming publicly to announce what they are up to inconsidering for bitcoin investment.

I also don't trust politicians, but one thing which I have seen most of them do, according to the exposed ones, is invest the stolen money in things which could likely be suspected; some buy properties and partner with foreign companies so that they can get the money cleaned. Their bitcoin will be their last option unless they just want to play around with it a little. The major large sums they steal can't be hidden in bitcoin; some of them don't trust bitcoin that much.

Truly corrupt politicians would definitely use crypto as an avenue to hid their stolen funds, however no matter what corrupt politician trick and means adopted to hiding those fund but in the event of converting the stolen crypto to fiat in an exchange that is exactly where FBI or EFCC can track and seize the stolen fund because I believe the crypto to be converted would be a massive fund, we are aware that all major crypto exchanges has mandated all their customers to undergo KYC and any massive converting of crypto to fiat might be reported to the security authorities for urgent and appropriate action, intact their are reported cases of money laundering through crypto thus that is exactly where corrupt politicians can be arrested.

The ones who are stuck in their ways are the ones who are trying to make Bitcoin look bad. People can hide their money in any way, politicians can take the country's money and keep it abroad to fulfill their own interests, they have buried some in the ground and deposited money in foreign banks.
