Dex.CR
A Truly Private & Fast Cryptocurrency Exchange

I'm happy to introduce dex.cr to the crypto world - a truly private and fast cryptocurrency exchange!

Short backstory about us & what inspired this project:

We're a team of people with businesses that scratch the surface of the crypto industry. We've gotten tired of KYC checks (& all type of meaningless verifications) and censorship growing like cancer in our area of work. This is a project that we've been developing for more than a year now and it has finally reached a point in which we can let it out in the open.

Current Liquidity

We have currently funded our hot wallets with ~60,000 USD worth of assets as a first round and we'll try to keep increasing the liquidity each month.

All swaps are in a floating rate.

Currencies We Currently Support

  • Bitcoin / BTC
  • Monero / XMR
  • Ethereum / ETH
  • BNB
  • Litecoin / LTC
  • Bitcoin Cash / BCH
  • USDT & USDC on ERC-20 and BEP-20
  • Tron - TRX *
  • USDT TRC-20 *
  • Solana - SOL *

* Marked currencies are supported, but suspended at the time of posting this thread.

Side note: Monero swaps may take a bit more time, if we have a lot of traffic due to how the Monero blockchain works, but even so, you should get your funds within 1 hour.

Key Features

  • No KYC checks of any sort
  • We don't save any Logs, IP addresses, Cookies or any other methods of identifying a machine
  • Our own liquidity pools - no 3rd-party ever touches the funding of our liquidity
  • Fully standalone infrastructure - we don't depend on any APIs or services, that's the main reason why we have Solana and Tron suspended currently.
  • Fast, automatic swaps & refunds
  • Swaps are allowed only if we have the available liquidity, we won't allow you to send more
  • API and documentation
  • Bug bounties
  • You can fund a swap from multiple wallets with you being able to see all partial deposits
  • Mechanics that prevent invalid or problematic transactions
  • $10 minimum swap

Liquidity

We have a public page full of information about our liquidity, but we've decided to not share the hot wallet addresses publicly.

If any member with a bit more reputation wants to confirm the liquidity by us sharing the hot wallet addresses - feel free to contact us and share the result with the people afterwards.

Refunds

All refunds are processed within 24 hours, whether it was your mistake or a server issue.

Automatic refunds happen when:
  • A swap expires with a partial deposit

Cases for manual refunds (treated as priority by admins):
  • No refund address provided
  • Gas cost is more than the deposit
  • Massive overpayment (x2 the quoted amount) or overpayment in the scale of which our liquidity can't handle it
  • Auto-refund failure
  • Any other internal issue that lead to the user not receiving his assets

If you have any concerns about your assets, you can always send us an email via the contact page.

Fees

  • All assets currently have a fixed 1.0% fee
  • Swaps under $100 value have a 0.5% fee

If we ever change the rates and forget to update it here, the "What are your fees?" dropdown in the FAQ section always shows the live amount of the fees.

TOR

We allow TOR traffic, but due to our main site's frontend relying heavily on javascript we haven't released a [.onion] version of the site yet.

We want our onion version to be perfect and without any javascript, so stay tuned for this release.

Future Plans

  • Onion service
  • Affiliate program
  • Expansion of supported currencies
  • Additional obfuscation of transactions
  • Mobile version of the site has some scuffed parts that will be buffed out
  • We can add a way of tracking your swaps in your current session (if the community demands this)

Official Links

Guarantees: we don't believe in locking 50k worth of assets (or whatever the amount is) when we can put the money to use. We've messaged the moderators of kycnot.me in our application that we'll give them funds to test out our service and if any other person with reputation wants to contribute to our campaign of boosting the community's faith in us - feel free to DM us. Time will make the people trust us, not money.

Important: we're not related to any other projects that share the 3-letter "dex" tld, we have this domain from about half a year now.

Welcome to the forum. The industry has woken up to the need of kyc-less swapping. More and more of this services are emerging.

  • $10 minimum swap
This is beautiful for lower and medium range swappers. Some projects have their min swap as $100, I have to think who their target markets are.

We have a public page full of information about our liquidity, but we've decided to not share the hot wallet addresses publicly.

If any member with a bit more reputation wants to confirm the liquidity by us sharing the hot wallet addresses - feel free to contact us and share the result with the people afterwards.
A promotional manager can help out here and also arrange for your promotion in this forum. You can reach out to Icopress

If you have any concerns about your assets, you can always send us an email via the contact page.
Do you have a more private means of contact apart from emailing?

Monero fee will likely be lowered in the next 1-2 months, but it will always remain slightly higher than the other assets due to internal reasons.
Consider to reduce, it seems a few of your competitors have a better rate. Could the internal reasons of higher fee for Monero be liquidity issue?

Guarantees: we don't believe in locking 50k worth of assets (or whatever the amount is) when we can put the money to use. We've messaged the moderators of kycnot.me in our application that we'll give them funds to test out our service and if any other person with reputation wants to contribute to our campaign of boosting the community's faith in us - feel free to DM us. Time will make the people trust us, not money.
You don't have to lock down 50k. Anywhere 5k to 10k for a start is acceptable. The security fund doesn't form part of your reputation but it gives you soft landing. You could deposit 50k and still be called out for unethical practices.

Is this the first instant exchange you've launched in this forum? Because nobody has suggested this to you yet, plus i am very sure there are users, under different usernames, who launch different exchanges in this forum trying to scam people. Nobody tries to force projects into depositing funds in escrow, it only sends a positive message to the community that they may be legitimate when they do so. The idea is, if they are willing to 'risk' something, then users could be willing to take the 'risk' with their service.

Trying out your service with a few dollars is not the problem; it is what happens when i want to swaps thousands of dollars.

Why is it not possible to choose a BTC to ERC20 (ETH, USDT, USDC) pair, while, for example, it is possible to swap XMR to ERC20 tokens?

Quote
Quote expires in 38m 37s (at 5/28/2026, 11:31:28 PM), or sooner once the deposit confirms.
Does the system recognize online transactions before the first confirmation, and what happens if the user sends funds after this period has expired? The initial 40 minutes are perhaps too short.

You should consider adding a letter of guarantee, as a form of confirmation that it is a genuine site, also in case of any complications with the order.

Q: Is this the first instant exchange you've launched [….]
A: Yes, as I’ve said we haven’t participated in any crypto projects, but looked around the forum to see how such threads are structured.

Q: Trying out your service with a few dollars is not the problem […]
A: We’ve already responded that we’ll consider depositing a security fund in our previous answer:)

A: Indeed. Also, the swap fees made from such swaps are negligible (if we don’t have thousands of clients per day), so we’ll probably make sub-50 dollar swaps have 0.5% rate.

Why does the service require 6 confirmations for Bitcoin? Often, three confirmations are sufficient, but six confirmations to initiate a swap will increase the average transaction time to over an hour.

Most trading pairs are currently unavailable, so I haven't tested the service. However, how will the pools be updated? Hourly or daily? And does the user receive "low-risk" coins?

    • $10 minimum swap
After seeing the ANN of (Dex.CR), I first thought it was the ANN of (Dex.fo). Later, when I looked more carefully, I realized it is a different and new exchange. Welcome to the forum (Dex.CR). The most attractive feature here is the $10 minimum swap. Small users will likely find this convenient to use and if the customer service is good, it can gain popularity quite easily.

I know the swaps fees made from low swaps are often negligible. I believe as you go along, things will find ways to improve ...

Q: A promotional manager can help out here and also arrange for your promotion in this forum. You can reach out to Icopress
A: Sure, we’ll look into it and thanks for the suggestion!
It's fine you'll consider this, it will definitely help the brand.

Q: Consider to reduce, it seems a few of your competitors have a better rate. Could the internal reasons of higher fee for Monero be liquidity issue?
A: We’ll consider it. It’s related to liquidity issues, yes.
We are good to go...There's a question about reserve update, please attend to it, then I'll try to test your service.

Q: You don't have to lock down 50k. Anywhere 5k to 10k for a start is acceptable. The security fund doesn't form part of your reputation but it gives you soft landing. You could deposit 50k and still be called out for unethical practices.

It's not compulsory but I'll recommend you do so. It's almost becoming a norm here

They also seem to be aware that there's an exchange with a similar domain name, which is the reason for this disclaimer!

the "What are your fees?" dropdown in the FAQ section always shows the live amount of the fees.
Given that this specific section doesn't mention any fees for automated & manual refunds, am I correct in assuming that, apart from network fees, you're not charging anything else to process them?
    - BTW, I think it'd be nice to have a note above/below the refund address field that explains only to use addresses that they fully control (unfortunately, there are still users who copy-paste addresses from other platforms).

It will be reduced to 4 confirmations for BTC, we haven't gotten around to it yet. All trading pairs are available, as long as you select an amount that we can process - we already had multiple swaps involving all of our supported assets. The user receives low to medium risk (medium meaning fixedfloat grade) coins. We regularly check the purity of our wallets via companies like amlbot, etc.

A note has been added and yes, we don't have additional fees for processing refunds (aside from subtracting blockchain transaction fees).

    Update:
    • All swaps are now at a fixed 1% fee
    • Swaps under $100 are now at a fixed 0.5% fee

These similar names always confuse me. I don't know why the majority decide to give a name to a project that is similar to many. Is it due to a lack of creativity or is it expected that some specific term will facilitate brand recognition, but I think it is not the best choice.

In this case, this type of swap exchanges has nothing in common with DEX

It would be useful, because only if you use your own liquidity, then you can claim to be no-KYC, i.e. the process is up to you.

We wanted something short for a domain name and we found this to be the best (a word relatable to crypto). That being said, we didn't actually do any "market research" before we started the development, only when we started rolling out for production we found out the amount of such services named "dex" haha.

I gave you the answer to what was missing.

I just tested this exchange with a small amount of ~$40.

You are missing a few things.
A Letter of Guaranty could be considered mandatory. This is already a practice and helps a lot in the verification of genuine orders, and can be used in various cases.
The same is the case with the verification of funds at the address.
Why do you need 6 confirmations to process the order? You have unnecessarily extended the duration of the process itself.
The bookmark order page is not an ideal solution. A letter of guarantee that would contain all the information would fix that.
Also, the status page, where only the order id would be entered for verification, would also make it easier for those who have not bookmarked the page.
Looking at the funds in the pool, most often each coin pool is around $5-$6k. I have not seen anywhere that you have a minimum or maximum for one swap. What happens if someone wants to exchange $10k worth of a specific coin?

I see that you often have "larger" incoming transfers from FixedFloat. Can you explain what exactly is your relationship with FF? They don't have the best reputation with privacy-oriented users.

Sure, letter of guaranty will be added in the next update. BTC and XMR currently have the highest amount of confirmations required, they will be reduced in the next few days, I agree that those swaps take ages to complete.

As far as the liquidity question and min/max for 1 swap, the API won't allow you making a swap that's above our liquidity and there's frontend protection against that as well - the swap page is always synced with the current liquidity, so you'll see an instant "unavailable" message, if you enter an amount above our reserves and the "swap" button will disappear. In rare cases, where 2 max liquidity swaps are happening at the same time and one completes before the other one, an automatic refund is executed. We had a system where each swap reserved liquidity, so such cases would be impossible, but obviously this would've led to a huge abuse doorway. Cheesy

Most of the initial funding was done through FF, we don't have a relationship with them - it was the easiest way of getting the assets that we needed, without touching KYC exchanges. The next funding round will have a mix of binance+kucoin coins.

    Thanks for the feedback! <3

These similar names always confuse me. I don't know why the majority decide to give a name to a project that is similar to many. Is it due to a lack of creativity or is it expected that some specific term will facilitate brand recognition, but I think it is not the best choice.
Don't know whether it's a lack of creativity or not, but there is another exchange with a similar name, it doesn't look good at all. He shared his personal opinion, everything is fine but it would have been better if the name had been different. Before doing anything, one should know well but he explained that he didn't know about this so there is nothing he can do now.

Anyway, their service seems fairly good and they are also paying good attention to customer support. Although the similarity in names will not cause any problems, if they can perform well in customer service, they will gradually gain popularity as well.

After seeing the ANN of (Dex.CR), I first thought it was the ANN of (Dex.fo). Later, when I looked more carefully, I realized it is a different and new exchange. Welcome to the forum (Dex.CR).
I also thought the same, I thought that it's just their 2nd service or a mirror link but no. They're completely different from each other. Maybe they also need a rebranding or renaming soon, I don't know.

The most attractive feature here is the $10 minimum swap. Small users will likely find this convenient to use and if the customer service is good, it can gain popularity quite easily.
I agree, that $10 minimum swap is a good one because not all will swap a lot of crypto and so in batches with smaller amounts opens more customers to them. Although the commission for them will be minimal but if it's with a lot of volume, they're still a winner.

    Update:
    • Confirmations before payout have been lowered for the following assets: BTC (2), XMR (6), LTC (6) and BCH (4). This will be replaced in the next few updates with a system that chooses confirmations amount based on risk, instead of them being hardcoded for all swaps.
    • A front end bug was fixed, where the user saw a "funds delivered" message on expired swaps with partial deposits below the minimum payout amount.
    • For some reason the minimum swap amount was left out at $20, we fixed it to be at the correct $10 amount.

Currently, a bug exists where it shows 0/X confirmations for small partial deposits - this happens only when the full amount of the swap is not observed and should be fixed in the next update as well.

PGP page & letters of guaranty support is somewhat done and will be enabled in ~few days.
