I'm only getting my normal hashrate with scrypt for my system (3x290x+290). To be safe I downloaded the sgminer-master file from the sgminerwindows site so it is from scratch. Do I need to set a kernel [even though it isn't in other people's conf files?]. I tried the other link on the sgminerwindows site but with the same settings below I get a BSOD. { "pools" : [ { "url" : "stratum+tcp://96.126.121.117:9405", "user" : "address", "pass" : "x" } ] , "intensity" : "19", "nfactor" : "6", "worksize" : "256", "lookup-gap" : "2", "thread-concurrency" : "32768,32768,32768,24550", "gpu-threads" : "1", "gpu-engine" : "1025,975,1025,1025", "gpu-memclock" : "1475,1450,1500,1475", "gpu-fan" : "30-90", "gpu-powertune" : "0", "temp-cutoff" : "95", "temp-overheat" : "85", "temp-target" : "80", "api-mcast-port" : "4028", "api-port" : "4028", "auto-fan" : true, "expiry" : "10", "failover-switch-delay" : "60", "gpu-dyninterval" : "7", "gpu-platform" : "0", "log" : "5", "no-pool-disable" : true, "queue" : "1", "scan-time" : "7", "tcp-keepalive" : "30", "temp-hysteresis" : "3", "shares" : "0", "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin", "no-client-reconnect" : true } any ideas why? Should I be using significantly higher TC or something? edit: nevermind. I redownloaded the 4.1.153-v2 miner and it is working just fine.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

The readme file should be a good starting point for linux... I have that for windows (however I didn't try it) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=149479.0

Nice work getting pools set up last night and today.
Today ill be making an update with a dnsseed that should help everyone find nodes simply. I'll also be adding some checkpoints. Glad everyone is having fun mining!

Testpool: https://aiden.suprnova.cc Please don't throw in all you've got, we have to find a Block first, I had to modify stratum a bit so it might not work, a few spare hashes should be enough, if we've found a block, you can go all in :-) E-Mail confs are disabled, register, sign in, create your worker and start mining. WOW that was quick: So the Pool works.. Hop in guys https://aiden.suprnova.cc i let it at 0% fees for a while. Please confirm that payouts are working once the blocks has been confirmed. Got some issues right now, under estimated so much hashpower will come in in so short time, i'm working on it

Is it again 50% less than a normal payout from other pools? What do you mean? There are no other pools.
