I wonder when people will understand that an algo which uses less power is NOT a good thing. All the retards who are too stupid to sufficient cool their rigs are happy right now. But they dont get that power costs are the biggest part of costs in a mining operation. Lowering this costs only encourages people to dump the coin at a lower pricetag than normal scrypt coins and still get their profits. So have fun watching your coin getting dumped to death have fun missing the train that is coming within a few weeks.

I can see both sides of the coin here..... but actually you're not lowering the price tag - you're still requiring the investment in GPU power and keeping out the asic powerhouses... by the way - I have asics and gpu and there's a ton of good gpu cards that'll hash on craogslist at $100 to $200 and with a semprom, 8 gb ram and bamt on a stick the $/hash is now comparable from gpu to gridseeds - this lowers the price of running gpu's I like my gpus more than my gridseeds - a monkey could get the gridseeds running - where the challenge in that?

I bet he terribly despises all PoS coins then. They are designed to eliminate the cost to make.

Or do coins that cost little in electricity to produce make a good option for holding... You don't think those spending money on electricity to mine are dumping to make their money back no? ... oo...k Solid logic on holding a coin which costs to make, and dump a speculative coin because it was cheaper to make. Solid.

Alrighty here's a weird one:
Done all the necessary configs for my miners. 5x 280x ASUS is running 7.3+ mh/s each card. Copied the exact same spec for my second rig (5x 280x VAPOR saph) and changed the clock (1070 to 1080) and worker.... but I am only getting 3.9 mh/s... can anyone think of any reasons? _______________________

It contains all the dlls inside the wallet. This is just how gitian compiles it. The zip contains everything, installer, qt, daemon, source.

It contains all the dlls inside the wallet. This is just how gitian compiles it. The zip contains everything, installer, qt, daemon, source. Cool, also what is the exchange [***] tag? For AIDEN, I'm praying you didn't go for the obvious NO NO.... Wink ___________ The smos upgrade for sgminer? that's linux distro stuff isn't it? I'm running both rigs on win8 because easy, one running great the other held back by something... The machines are identical, but I know for a fact one is "open" and the other asks permissions for everything and I can't tweak the user account correctly. Also to note the ones running and 3 mh/s are quite a bit hotter than the ones at 7+ mh/s, so could this perhaps be some kind of user permissions conflict with starting sgminer with the .conf file.... the only theory I have Thanks for you help so far bud.
