Second question out of curiosity, why is the wallet 27mb? Haven't seen one so chunky
It contains all the dlls inside the wallet. This is just how gitian compiles it. The zip contains everything, installer, qt, daemon, source. Cool, also what is the exchange [***] tag? For AIDEN, I'm praying you didn't go for the obvious NO NO.... Wink ___________ The smos upgrade for sgminer? that's linux distro stuff isn't it? I'm running both rigs on win8 because easy, one running great the other held back by something... The machines are identical, but I know for a fact one is "open" and the other asks permissions for everything and I can't tweak the user account correctly. Also to note the ones running and 3 mh/s are quite a bit hotter than the ones at 7+ mh/s, so could this perhaps be some kind of user permissions conflict with starting sgminer with the .conf file.... the only theory I have Thanks for you help so far bud. I would guess everyone will go with ADN right? Yeah, I was implying they could be derps and pick [AIDs] or something if that lil joke honestly sailed past your head! Everyone's focus is unshakable right now!

Yea smos is a linux distro you can run from a usb drive. That is rather odd too, it may be something funny like that. I'm not entirely sure about windows 8 because none of my rigs run it. Hopefully you can get it figured out if not try smos 1.2 or 1.3 and using the sgminer upgrade. All of this can be found with a swift google.

I have heard of this happening to a few people. Basicly i'm using the same scrypt settings i would for litecoin but adding to the conf file.

Does it matter what the core clock speed and memory clock is running at?
Intensity =19/20 Threads 27400 for 290x and 16000 for 270/270x
Im getting ~10-11Mh/s with my 290x (1000/1250) I'm getting ~3.9Mh/s with my 270x (1125/1500) Im getting ~3.65 Mh/s with my 270 (1025/1450)
Should I lower core and memory speeds does it matter?

The difficulty increases steadily. By the way, a logo change would be good.

How much should I get with a 280x and what temps are normal?
I was up all night working on tweaking my hash rate, when I first setup sgminer with the setting I seen posted for 280x's, I was getting around 4.5Mhs for my 7970 and 5.1Mhs on my 280x. Which seemed weird because I read a post where a 7950 was getting 6Mhs. I knew I was supposed to get more, it took a lot of trial and error but finally what did the trick for me was changing the intensity from 18-19 to 13 which then boosted my hash rate to 7.443Mh/s for the 7970 and 7.480 for the 280x running at 77.0C and 74.0C.
