There is some truth in this because in trading some people do not know the right way and lose a lot of money due to which people run away from trading and describe its evil. Similarly, in gambling sometimes we win and get our money back, so trading is worse than gambling. In trading, percentage is not seen in any way, but trade with your own analysis and take profit from it. That is why people succeed by experimenting themselves, if we trade by looking at the book, we will not be able to take profit in any way. In trading, we should work with our mind calmly and comfortably so that we can keep ourselves calm even with losses.

Trading addiction is okay if you profit but if that is lost, you must take a break, learn more and fix the mistake. You must solve and cure your addiction because addiction will not gives better result.

The term of addiction refers to something that can pose a greater risk than its benefits so you need to cure it before too late. You must re-create and redirect your plan, check what happens to you, if you feels you are addicted to trading, you must cure it before you start trading.

Trading should be very careful especially managing your funds. A very bad habit that is very common among inexperience taders is by trying to chase losses after being overwhelmed by emotions, if you can't control your emotion as a trader then losing streak would  rekt your account, as for trading addiction I believe being a scalper would triggers getting addicted to trading if that trader is not very experience because placing as many trades within the short period of time is perquisite to account liquidation, whereas swing traders wouldn't get addicted because their long term trading perspective would only encourage the trader to analyze and place their trade in few minutes.

Gambling addiction is common because it is the most-talked about, and with a little amount of money, you can gamble. Also, you don't need immediate documents and some downloads and installations with gambling platforms, even as you can walk straight to gamble directly in some streets, so the financial easiness and access are there. But trading is not so, and especially needs more money, which is why the losses there is more dangerous in some cases. I agree with you but in reality both of them are dangerous, there's a lot of smart and intelligent people gambling but they're also get addicted to it to the point that they will do everything to win back losses or at least cut back those previous losses. In gambling, it can also be driven by compulsion and emotion especially the sports bet due to the unpredictability of the matches by nature same thing with trading. So I think, there's no more dangerous than the other, they both dangerous as they are. It's good that sometimes you need to assess yourselves since addicted persons are not aware that they're already addicted and still false to the illusion that they are still in control of themselves.

Sometimes people seen a potential earning with the use of trading imagine you have a work that is paying fo a 30$ per day and in the use of trading you can instantly cattered your daily salary here in PH its hard to earn money we are paying for a 30$/8hrs compared to other countries nearby so there are people here really love doing tradings which is now use as a primary source of income they focus themselves to earn while sitting in their computer and for me if you will chase too much money probably you will get burned out sooner or later actually me as a swing trader I do get bored what im doing but for the sake of the money I still doing these things I cant blame other people why. But better make sure you enjoy life and touch the grass because it could lead to depression and anxiety of too much trades.

Addiction itself already makes people unable to think clearly. They become blinded by their emotions and want revenge for what they lost in trading because any form of addiction is definitely not a good thing. From what I see people become addicted to using leverage in trading because there are situations where they can win big using small capital. Most of them start thinking that trading is easy and that they can get rich in a short amount of time which is the same mindset as gambling.

I have posted about it some years ago, but some of you against it, that there is no trading addiction. But there was an old topic of mine that I always talked about which is about a rehab center saying some people are traders, that they are seeking for rehabilitation. It is good that other people are talking about it now. Trading addiction really exists.

I believe trading addiction does exist because there are cases where trader sell their assets just to continue trading and some of them even end up in debt trying to recover what they lost. Addiction can happen anywhere when we lack self control, so it's really important to have proper self control to prevent something bad from happening to us.

I guess, i could say it's more beneficial if someone becomes too focused on trading compared to gambling, although i rarely hear about "trading addiction" being talked about much in the news. Still, i'm sure it does exist to some extent.

At least with trading, you're developing a skill that can actually be useful and something you can be proud of, especially if you're consistently making profits, even if it's not always guaranteed. Compared to gambling addiction, it definitely sounds like the better side to be on.

There may indeed be people addicted to trading, but there aren’t nearly as many as those addicted to gambling.   So it can be said that people who are truly addicted to trading are very rare; those who are addicted are likely those who have suffered losses and cannot accept them, so they seek revenge for those losses and hope to turn the situation around. If this is done with a well-thought-out strategy and analysis, that’s fine. However, if it’s done without careful calculation or even without proper analysis simply because they’re too caught up in their emotions then it can indeed lead someone to a point that could be called an addiction if they can’t stop doing it.

Hmmm. If it's kind like uncontrollable actions and done more often it might fall to addiction but im not so sure if someone got into that already. You might say the person is like having FOMO or anxious due to sudden market movement. If you will say constantly checking like every few hours or hour everyday, that's something i never encountered yet.

Trading addiction is certain possibility to every trader because once you lose, you start chasing to recover your capital which may become successful or may not but definitely it will become your routine and your adrenaline pumping mechanism may seek it again and again. It means, we should not give room for adrenaline pumping in-between trading like trading should be treated in non-emotional way; if you are good enough with your technical part then such kind of trading would be possible for you.

However, trading isn't like other addictions, this isn't drinking or drugs or gambling, this is a fair thing that you could make money from. So it should not become an "addiction", it could become a business, and while not all business makes money, if you learn it well enough, you should be able to do fine.

I believe that trading is more dangerous than gambling. If we analysis why a gambler becomes addicted to gambling, it will be seen that they cannot control their emotions. Gamblers do not have awareness of when to stop gambling and how much funds they should gamble with.

If a trader's target is to make money in a short time, they are definitely involved in gambling because just as gambling is greedy for making money, a trader has the same expectations. One of the dangerous things in trading is not having control over oneself because the expectation of profit tempts a trader to make wrong decisions. Trading with the expectation of profit despite the risk involved in the portfolio is often the wrong decision. In my case, this mistake has happened many times. Lack of patience is the main reason for traders' losses.

Yes, trading addiction may be real but I guess it's rare to happen, unlike in gambling where every person who's mostly attached to it will mostly develop gambling addiction.

Trading addiction is not an addiction that we can swiftly eradicate because I've seen what trading does to people especially this sets of trading addicts, they are completely lost in the market and have no momentum or direction, they're just here to gamble in the market densely trigger by emotions. But can one recover from trading addiction? Of course YES, every addiction have a cure as long the victim is ready follow due process and ensure he or she is having the right rehabilitation from these addictions.

I know how hard it is and how trading have been for trading addicts, some of them suffer trauma and PTSD from trading because of the wrong decisions they've taken, for instance how can one believe 100% in a project only for that project to failed in the market, not after investing almost all your money on it, common it's tragic and it will feel like the world have come to an end for you especially if you dont have backup outside trading.

How can you validate that claim that trading addiction costs more problems than gambling addiction? For sure you've got the proper research for that and I would like to know your thoughts on it. Yeah that kind of addiction exists but there's no way to tell if the other one is dangerous or not, it's probably just a conspiracy. I think trading is more tailored to be disciplined, you need time before you get there, those who probably get some addiction on it are probably not discipline and just blindly trading, that's where the danger comes from.
