Exactly, trading is a complex activity. It needs more than just money. Trading demands knowledge, skill, management, and emotional control. Sometimes, at any times, also luck. No guarantee of being profitable 100% of the time in trading. But, possible to earn more money than you lose. Of course, it comes down to the specific strategy each individual employs.
Sorry, but I cannot agree with you on this one. I mean, in theory, sure, that's true. And that's why we trade in first place, and why so many people keep getting into it. But in practice, most trader endup losing money, over and over again. Less than 5% actually make money trading. And Im not just making this up. Plenty of survey have found that 95-97% of traders lose money. You do not have to take my word for it. But the data does not lie. https://journalplus.co/blog/how-many-traders-actually-make-money/https://walnutinvest.com/stats/day-trading-statisticshttps://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3423101

It appears to me that you knows more about trading stuff and you probably might have learned some hard lessons lately in trading. Because I seems to be seeing a lot of points in what you're saying. However, there's this friend of mind that always claims to know more about trading, and you know the funniest part of it is that he hasn't even benefited anything tangible thing since he started trading. Always one excuse to another and this guy in question is like a brother to me which I have try my possible best talking to him if he can slow down on his trading habit but all to null and vain. Perhaps, I would've loved to go through your link's but its appears I'm not good in clicking links for safety purpose.

we focus more on gambling addiction but from what I have observed trading addiction is more dangerous than gambling addiction because it usually destroys very smart and intelligent persons.
Neither trading addiction nor gambling addiction is better. They are both the same thing. Particularly, we have more people addicted to gambling than individuals addicted to trading. Sorry, but I cannot agree with you on this one. I mean, in theory, sure, that's true. And that's why we trade in first place, and why so many people keep getting into it. The data are correct. We have fewer traders who make money from trading. Technically, these traders are very good at trading, but they don't go about making videos to stay relevant online. The main profitable traders keep the wins silent.

Trading addiction is real and there no minsing of words about that. So many persons are trapped in the cage of addiction, and can only be delivered if they take a bold step about that. There are so many things that can lead one into trading and at the end of the day, end up losing your money. Trading is something you have to follow up little by little, it's not something you have to place all you investment and hope thinking you will cash out big, but will still shock you. People who are addicted to trading already know there are somethings that you cannot control. The only thing that I've seen work effectively for the addiction is being too serious and self discipline. If you can have it, If you can tell when to trade and when not to trade, and hold yourself from self agitation.
Trading becomes an addiction when you start trading with overconfidence after making money through trading. When you face losses, you trading more to make up for those losses. This can lead to you going beyond your means, which can have a big impact on your life. Your greed or emotional decisions while trading can lead to big financial losses, which will result in you being under pressure and unable to make the right decisions. As a result, the amount of losses will increase, and the aggressive mentality to make up for the losses will gradually turn into an addiction.

trading starts to become addiction when your decision shifts from structured financial decision to something driven by compulsion, emotion and the need to get back all your losses. some traders has ended up destroying their relationship with their friends and family because of trading addiction. we really don't talk about trading addiction we focus more on gambling addiction but from what I have observed trading addiction is more dangerous than gambling addiction because it usually destroys very smart and intelligent persons. why trading addiction is very dangerous is because you can be addicted and you won't even notice it because you may be thinking you are just putting in more work not knowing it's addiction. The moment we start to over do things without having to know when to stop is already addiction and yes the moment a trader begins to trade and doesn't know when to stop, such a trader is already addicted and the funny thing about this whole addiction issue is the fact that, an addict will never admit they're addicted because to them, there's alway hope to recover all that has been lost and unknowingly to them, they're already chasing after their losses because of them go as far as using money they can't afford to lose to trade which is never a good idea.

What you said is very accurate and makes sense. Trading isn’t just about opening a buy or sell position and then exiting at full profit, the process of achieving that profit is very difficult. In this case, it requires not only a trading strategy but also strict money management rules and even your psychology can influence the final outcome of your trading session at that moment. For example, your analysis might be correct, but the price corrects downward first before rising, while your mental fortitude isn’t strong enough to withstand a floating loss, leading to a cut loss trigger. This stems from fragile psychology, a fear of loss and under such circumstances, it’s usually difficult for a trading account to grow. For me, trading is just one way to make extra money, i’ll use those profits to buy more Bitcoin, not just to spend it all on having fun. If i think back to when i first learned about trading and decided to get into it, not many of my friends who used to trade with me are still at it, most have disappeared and chosen to pursue real life jobs. That’s proof of just how difficult trading really is.

Trading puts you under pressure because you must constantly keep calculating the losses and how much you have to recover. Gambling and trading are on the same page and level as far as individual tendency of addiction is concerned, involving and engaging with both activities.

I guess, i could say it's more beneficial if someone becomes too focused on trading compared to gambling, although i rarely hear about "trading addiction" being talked about much in the news. Still, i'm sure it does exist to some extent.
At least with trading, you're developing a skill that can actually be useful and something you can be proud of, especially if you're consistently making profits, even if it's not always guaranteed. Compared to gambling addiction, it definitely sounds like the better side to be on.
You're right, only if there's anything called trade addiction because i hardly hear such words. But if the words exist then is better to get addicted to it. As long as someone is making profits from and doesn't involve lost i don't think is a bad one. We can't really compare this trade addiction like drugs, gambling, smoking alcohol addictions etc. Because this are addictions that takes humans life.

The thing is that only does that are greedy and are not making money get addicted because they always want to either cover for there loses or make more profit to prove to people that they are good traders, and one thing about good traders is they don't bother to show off, because when you are too confident, you start doing things like reverse trading, and more so, we need to be prepared so as we don't waste money while trading to make money. Traders who know what they are doing are always more concerned about opportunity and when to trade, learning to understand better, the good thing is just for us to avoid being addicted by all means.

Yes bro You are right if a person is doing trading he should be well disciplined think calmly not addicted to it because every thing which u become addict to it will destroy you. When a person loss some trade so he become very angry and instead of thinking calmly he take the loss personally and start taking big risks without any proper strategy. I think every trader should set some strict rules for himself. You need to change how you think and if trading is controlling his life he should stop and leave and take some break from it.

Trading addiction is more harmful because there is a possibility of using leverage on this platform and on the other hand there is a possibility of high losses and also the possibility of making profits. In every aspect of life you have to follow discipline, especially if it is a matter of money, it is more important. The level of risk in trading is more because it is more likely to be associated with less experienced traders because in the beginning they are very greedy in the hope of getting high profits. These new traders use most of the funds available to them due to greed. In that case, if they cannot make a profit, they are likely to become emotional and excited and make wrong decisions. Trading addiction is born by them just like a new gambler who bets big without thinking about losing and loses and gradually they become addicted to gambling in the hope of winning or getting back the lost funds.

This is the biggest mistake people make, whether it is trading or gambling, they forget to take a break after a loss or a profit. It is not at all advisable to forget to take a break, the person who trades without following the strategy will face additional risks or losses. Every trader should follow these things, then it will be possible to stay away from the symptoms of addiction. Money control and taking a break should be the two things that should be paid the most attention to, if you follow these two things, it will be possible to stay away from the symptoms.

It actually exists, but getting profit always? That is not how addiction works, especially when it comes to trading. It's something like compulsive buying and selling, constantly chasing losses, or feeling the need to keep trading regardless of the outcome something like on gambling stuff too. Remember, there is nothing good for being addicted to something. It might really feel rewarding in the beginning, but things can, or might really get worse as the behavior becomes harder to control.

It's easier to become a gambling addict than to become trading addict, I don't understand how people do it because trading that I know doesn't plays out immediately, this is how gambling works, it all works out instantly.
Unless you place bets on sports where you have to wait till the match is over, trading can take days before you get your result and some people are even complaining that the waiting part is why they are fed up.
Tell me how people are getting addicted with trading, I don't just understand it, someone who knows how to trade will open a trade and hope for the best, they can go back to their activities like nothing happened, with stop loss in place something good or bad can happen.

Op you have mentioned an important point because many of us may not know that we are addicted to trading. The greed for high profits in us is so overwhelming that we continue trading despite many losses. Much like gamblers who lose once in a bet but then bet again but after losing multiple times they expect to win and risk more money. A trader's attitude can be almost the same because trading is risky and there is a high chance of losing money. Traders need to change their ways and develop a habit of long-term Bitcoin investment. It is better to be a long term Bitcoin investor than a trader.

If you lose or win, when all are too much, it will make you become addicted to it, and getting profit in trading doesn’t mean you won’t lose sometime because it is unpredictable and anyone can lose if he didn’t work out well. In my view, those that lost a lot are the people that can become addicted easily, because when they lost for the first time, they will try again, and even if it doesn’t favour them, they will start to think that they are losing a lot, and they will find a way out to recover their losses, because they have the overconfidence that they can get what they lost back, and that is one of the things that makes some people don’t really survive in trading, because they are chasing what they have lost before.
