But if we want to talk about trading, then here of course it does not depend on luck, but here you have to achieve success based on your own skills research and the right strategy at the right time. Not everything is easy here, market research is a very difficult subject, and where market research requires time and deep thought and decision making, there is very little chance of people getting addicted. However, if after a few losses people close their eyes and start taking trades on emotion without any research, then the matter is different.
However, there are cases where trading is more dangerous than gambling. Gamblers, at least know that the outcomes are purely based on luck. But many new traders wrongly think that charting along with some indicators makes them extremely talented. If an individual increases his trades continuously in order to earn back his losses, then he behaves like a gambler. Trading is not more dangerous than gambling, but yeah, trading addiction is way more dangerous than gambling addiction. That's something a lot of folks just don't get. Because a trader rarely sees himself as a gambler. They think they are investing, analyzing the market and trying to make money . Even when they keep taking losses , they convince themselves it's just part of trading and that they're doing the right thing. It is true that without a proper strategy, good money management skills, and control over emotions, crypto trading has very less difference from gambling at the casino. People always find it difficult to accept their dependence, although it is just a legitimate practice with very high risk.
It's simple, addiction is all about losing control of your behavior and emotions. That's exactly why anything can get you hooked, not just gambling and trading.

Trading addiction is a complex issue. Executing trades without a specific strategy, analysis, and risk management is essentially no different from gambling. Addiction takes hold when an individual trades based solely on emotion or excitement rather than analysis. Attempting to immediately recoup losses driven by an inability to cope with the psychological stress of a setback is extremely risky. It creates a vicious cycle trading impulsively out of anger after a loss, suffering further losses, and then placing even larger trades. This pattern drives traders toward bankruptcy and deepens the addiction.
As a trader when we start having the mindset of trading without any analysis, strategies or risk management then basically we are relying on luck and not our strategies anymore and that means we are just gambling and not trading anymore because that the way gambling works. And when we start trading without no risk management nor strategies at all then we can easily lose a lot and the mindset of recovering our losses will always be there and gradually we will fall into trading addiction. We will just keep chasing after the losses and not weigh our risk and the negativity that might comes with trading without analysis.

Yes bro You are right if a person is doing trading he should be well disciplined think calmly not addicted to it because every thing which u become addict to it will destroy you. When a person loss some trade so he become very angry and instead of thinking calmly he take the loss personally and start taking big risks without any proper strategy. I think every trader should set some strict rules for himself. You need to change how you think and if trading is controlling his life he should stop and leave and take some break from it.
This is the biggest mistake people make, whether it is trading or gambling, they forget to take a break after a loss or a profit. It is not at all advisable to forget to take a break, the person who trades without following the strategy will face additional risks or losses. Every trader should follow these things, then it will be possible to stay away from the symptoms of addiction. Money control and taking a break should be the two things that should be paid the most attention to, if you follow these two things, it will be possible to stay away from the symptoms. I don't want to completely confuse gambling with trading. If a gambler loses in a gamble, he loses the entire amount of funds he used, but a trader is not likely to lose the entire amount of funds. In gambling, it is necessary to take a break after winning or losing because a gambler can feel excessive excitement and is more likely to make wrong decisions at that time. A trader's capital is at risk if he is under pressure to sell at a loss. You mentioned the need for traders to take breaks, but I think a trader should continue to buy regularly if he has a discretionary income stream. It is better to stop selling when the market price falls or not to sell at a loss. By buying regularly and building up holdings, you can make high profits when the price rises in the future.

I don't agree with you that trading addiction is said to be more dangerous than gambling addiction, because both have financial losses and psychological distress. And both have fundamental differences. Trading should be done based on analysis, risk management and understanding of the assets being traded. While gambling in general depends on luck. As trading becomes addictive, the distinction becomes more and more unclear. A person may no longer open a position based on the analysis, but rather due to an emotional urge, a desire to return a loss or an inability to control the transaction. So I think the issue is no longer just whether trading is more dangerous than gambling, but when one can stop making rational decisions and start being controlled by their lust to continue making those risky decisions.

However, there's this friend of mind that always claims to know more about trading, and you know the funniest part of it is that he hasn't even benefited anything tangible thing since he started trading. Always one excuse to another and this guy in question is like a brother to me which I have try my possible best talking to him if he can slow down on his trading habit but all to null and vain.
When people keep acting like trading expert but have nothing to show for it. Don't bother giving them advice. It's a waste of time. Let the market teach them lesson. Free advice often goes unappreciated, sometime even looked down on. So instead of trying to convince them, let them learn from experience. Let them keep paying market tuition out of their own pocket . Some people don't wake up no matter how many times you warn them, not until the market cleans them out of almost everything they've got.

A successful trader has no reason to teach you, unless they happen to be a good friend of yours, which is very rare. More often, those who sell their trading knowledge are people who failed to make money through trading itself, so they try to earn a living by selling their knowledge, which obviously isn't worth much. Learning on your own is difficult and takes a long time, that's obvious. It takes a lot of trial and error and experience before you can start making money, and by that point, you might simply give up. Because before you start seeing profits, you'll go through plenty of losses and setbacks.

Trading is risky, and it is natural to lose, but if a person cannot control his emotions when faced with losses, and if he starts trading blindly on emotions, then it is definitely equivalent to gambling. Losing in trading is natural, a skilled trader also faces a lot of losses, but if he loses his control here, then it becomes a huge loss. It is not that a skilled trader can always make a profit, they also face losses, but a skilled and responsible trader learns more from his losses and later has the mentality to trade more accurately through market research. But in this case, a new trader cannot maintain this control, instead of stabilizing himself at this stage, he starts trading through emotions, and this becomes their biggest weakness. And so, don't turn yourself into a gambler by trading emotionally. No one can ever be successful by gambling in the name of trading. If you lose, learn more from that loss and try to make yourself more skilled and perfect. But the moment you trade emotionally, you are almost certain to lose a lot.

I don't think a sane person will look will want to make attempts to trade without any strategy. I mean you will have to convince your head that you need to understand where the chart is going for you to even want to trade. Trying to trade without clue and understanding of the chart is like trying to ride a car without understanding your destination. I don't know what to call it but that's worse than a person with trading addiction. There is nothing should compel you to want to make trades if you don't have any purpose to trade, even if your purpose is to make money, you have to understand how to trade, you have to understand how the market work, in fact you need to know how to trade. If you know how to trade, you won't have this kind of mindset.

Sincerely speaking about trading, is there any way one can trade without involving his emotions? Or is there any way one can prove to bea succeful trader without getting moments where he placed his emotions in the business of trading? It is a necessity, it is something that must happen, at point point in time along the line, one must think about what he has done, he must think about his investment, whether it's going well or he's losing, these are why one gets emotionally involved in trading. When this affects you emotionally to the extend that you make series of mistakes is when we can say your emotions have controlled you, but I will still say as long as your money is involved, there is every probability that you will make such mistakes which will definitely affect your trading, therefore, it's just to forget about emotions and do your things, because your emotions will definitely get involved whether you like it or not.

Even if you follow others or take advice from experts, there are risks. It is better not to trade at the beginning, but if you do, check your financial capacity without taking risks and buy slowly. While keeping this process going, learn about the market. It is better not to consider trading as a means of livelihood without gaining experience. Even among experienced traders, many lose, but the amount is relatively small. . I agree with you that experienced traders will not spend time teaching you. They will not give you any advice that you will understand. Even if they are acquaintances or close friends, they will not teach you trading. You have to analyze the market and learn on your own. There will be losses and some profits, but at some point you will continue to make a lot of profits.

Many beginner traders misunderstand the concept of trading. They think that just buying and selling can make them a profit. Something simple and easy to make money. They do not think about the process of making that money. Such trading habits can easily make people addicted. The actual interest is not in being able to master trading, but more in participating in making money from trading.
