you can try to copy the wallet and load it yourself, test it, if you would like to verify.

Before you say I made that reddit post with my own wallet just so I can make this bitcointalk post later, check the date the post was created and the date the transaction
was created, ask yourself if you think I would plan ahead and expose my wallet for 6 years just to make this post.

You should know a percentage is absolutely meaningless without knowing how long the password is.
Here's an example: even if you'd know 70% of the password, you still wouldn't be able to brute-force BIP38 encryption. It's far too heavy to brute-force.

It matters, humans are very bad at remembering complex passwords like "#^78sd0+&ed@ss*?!aqolp$%5nkjh".... I don't think anyone can remember 70% of that password, if anyone remembers 70% of a complex password then it means it's a short password like " #3+(8suj8#". So running an exhaustive attack on 3 to 5 characters is easy.

This contains of course just a small amount, enough for buying dinner on the road, but not enough to be worth brute-forcing. I obfuscated the password into something I won't forget any time soon, while still giving a lot of possibilities. Let's say 10 million possible license plates times 10,000 possible PIN codes times 1000 common names. I'll use those funds if I ever need it in the future

But when it comes to dictionary passwords like the example you presented, humans can remember 2 of the 3 options you used and it's easy to run a dictionary attack on the last option.
