Why do people feels depressed if they are on losing streak?

 Is there anyone that would be happy when they're constantly losing? I don't think so. If I lose once but used a spare cash for the game i won't feel bad but when it's something that happens too often then it's worth being sad even though I'm not too sad because I've been using my spare money I'll still be sad to an extent.
 However my level of sadness would only lead to depression if I use money outside my spare cash to gamble and it's normal for people who make such silly mistake and not someone that mostly gambles with spare money.

If you observe what happens in friendly games, even games between friends that don't involve money, you'll see that the losers always leave sad and don't accept defeat. They accuse the winners of cheating. This shows that nobody likes to lose. The problem worsens when they lose the game and also lose money. Because after losing money, they start thinking about all the things they could have done with the money they lost, and at that moment people become even sadder. People don't like to lose, and few people accept losses early and move on with their lives normally.

Too much of expectation is the culprit, many gamblers still believe that they will hit a jackpot if they keep on trying but on the long haul they are met with disappointment, nothing worked out exactly how they want.

If you tell them to start using small money you will see them complaining that they won't make a life changing money, it's clear that many gamblers are gambling because they want to hit it big, and that's been a sorry case so far.

The feeling of sadness after a long streak of losses is totally normal for gamblers, since nobody would want to loose their money regardless of whether they are gambling with what they can afford to lose or they aren't..And in cases of gamblers being in a long losing streak, of course they could get sad, angry (but not depressed) and all of that even when they can afford to lose that money... Even the richest man in the world takes every precaution so that he wouldn't encounter lose, notwithstanding the fact that he has more money at his disposal to spare...But when depression sets in, that alone signifies that the gambler(s) in question has risked more than the amount that he could comfortably set aside/afford to lose...

No body will be happy losing money most expecially when its money you can't afford to loss for those who uses money that they can't afford to loss, but i discovered why people feel depressed is high expectations and also desperate to win back lost money those who gamble with with amount they can let may feel depressed and frustrated angry and annoyed because of the high expectations that had which they are not getting but there is always a room for break when a gambler is on a losing streak there is a saying that he who fight and run away lives to fight another day gambling has been in existence and will always be.

No one is happy when they're on a losing streak. Even the most positive guy would feel different and opposite when they start to see that kind of result.

It is not the percentage that's on their mind but it's about how they often get that lose. Someone who's not anticipating that needs to be reminded that anyone who gambles is prone to losing.

And the only thing that we can help ourselves avoiding being so stressed with losses is by acceptance and there's no way that a gambler will flee from it.

You did answered your own question already, the money did not really come from their mind of course…. They are not fully comfortable risking such amount of money on gambling, but they still end up doing it because of greed and that feeling of they can win big if the game goes their way, forgetting that the same thing could still happen the other way round too, and they can as well lose big..
Most people do not really gamble only for entertainment again like they claim… Some already have high expectations before placing the bet, so once they keep losing continuously it will start affecting them emotionally…

but instead of allowing yourself to get depressed about your losing streak is it not better for you to give it a break. Gambling is never a do or die affair so you should not allow yourself to be so carried away to the point it will affect you mentally. Mental health above anything and once something has that tendency of dealing with your mental state of mind, run from it. It is never the best decision for you to make in my humble opinion. I prefer to safe lives than to lose life to gamble due to wrong choices made which is driven by the desire to gamble more and more even when there are red flags everywhere.

You make the assumption that players are responsible with gambling and their finances.
This is a mistake in relation to those who decided that gambling is a chance to improve their financial situation, or for example, to find the "secret key" that will allow you to beat the casino for example. Their depression is quite predictable and expected, because all their calculations are based on the fact that THEY will win, without having the slightest real arugmentation....
It's self-delusion and the result, yes, will be negative.

Who is happy losing? I can't think of anyone who isn't a little upset when they lose. Even if it was only for a couple bucks you still feel a little sad when you lose. Now lose 10 in a row or 20 and all that sadness adds up. We all say only gamble what you can afford to lose, but even if you can afford it do you like to lose?

As we know financial loses are mostly affected to the said loser. To me it would be that better to at least have one winning that being on a losing streak for long. As you said, no one will be proud of themselves because there is lost associated to what they are doing currently. Money is money and whenever it is spent on the wrong way you would surely find very painful to lose such amount the person where budgeting to win more. Learning how to control oneself is also that important if I may say.

Losing will not make you happy of course, why would anyone be happy about losing money. But you do not have to feel depressed about it neither, there is literally a middle ground to this. You can lose and not feel too sad about it, not happy of course but not like crashing down.

If you are crashing down and crying and depressed then it means you have gambled with money that you should not have done so, which is the main problem that people have these days, that is the whole reason. I think we should be guessing that it is going to be very difficult for this to happen if you just lost a couple bucks which means only gamble with what you are affording. People got depressed for several reasons. It is not only because of money but also because of circumstantial experience.  Anyone who gambles for entertainment with a continuous losing streak will somehow get depressed because one of the entertainments in gambling is winning a huge multiplier.  If one wanted to experience that but was not given a chance for too long will definitely get disappointed.  With disappointment comes stress, with stress comes frustration, and with frustration comes depression.  It is not an instant event but an accumulation of stress and frustration that one becomes depressed about something.

Gambling messes with your emotions if you cannot let go of your losses. I don't think I have ever met anyone either a gambler or non gambler, who experiences back to back losses and still feel happy about it, because depression stems from the emotional and psychological state of the mind of which is often triggered by being sad and unhappy. A losing streak is enough reason to be sad and unhappy even if the funds used in gambling is one that can be afforded.
Emotional control might mean giving gambling a break in this regard and focus on other things that could stimulate the brain to cause a happy feeling.
Socializing helps depression to be surpressed and overcomed and while gambling can cause isolation, in such scenarios, it's good to be able to avoid it in this instance so as not to be too affected by the psychological state that a losing streak causes.
