Much of newcomers are confused with 12 word and 24 word as they might think that it is all because they do not understand what is on. But it is really quite simple. However, I think that in practice the security of the two choices makes little difference, as both are totally untouchable by today computers. With 12 words, you have already got enough number of combinations to safeguard your coins until the end of time. Main thing which makes it more safe is how you physically store them. 24 words are useless to you if you write them on piece of paper and lose it. Length of the list does not matter, what matters is that they can be kept COMPLETELY off line on their steel plate.
