If you have not seen it before doesn't mean that it's not happening, because ignorance can easily make you do that without looking back or thinking of the danger that it pose. I have seen ignorant investors do that before, and they will even argue with you if you try to correct them because they think that they are doing the right thing, while they don't know what they are doing or the danger attached to it. It's only when they get themselves burnt is when they accept their wrong and try to readjust themselves, which in most cases, it's already late, because the damage have been done already.
We all knows that investment in alt and meme coin is more of gambling than investment, but ignorance will make you think otherwise and go all in on them.

A good reason why not to invest all the money into a single altcoin is Luna. Before the entire Luna drama, it was among the top three coins if I remember correctly and what happened next we all know that. So no altcoin is a safe haven where you can invest everything into it and chill. There can be vulnerabilities or issues with the contract itself and now with Claude, you don't know when a vulnerability will be found.

They already made a bad start especially if they take a risk for buying those alts when the price is already pumping, because the risk for possible dump will came next is high knowing how altcoin markets behave.

So maybe best to correct their actions, since I really don't think buying at that state is a smart choice. Because people buying when market is pumping have great tendency to lose their money.

I think it usually depends on what capital that you are trading with. If you start with a small capital, with the intention to yolo it, it makes sense to invest everything into one altcoin and ride it till it makes you rich or forces you into a restart. But with big enough capital, you will opt for diversification but in my experience both trading and investing with most altcoins never turned profitable. Better stick only with bitcoin.

Illusion is a wrong word. I would call it a change, even if it's a microscopic and highly unlikely change.

I personally have found 2 micro-caps that made 1000x after i put money in them. But that's not as a success story it sounds like to be, because i have been in here so long that number of rug pulls that i have seen and have put money into is embarrassingly big to count.

And i have put my money into one single altcoin more then once. Sometimes it pays back and sometimes it doesn't. It's dangerous as hell, and end result could easily be catastrophical, but it's not like anything in this is safe.

And we know that altcoins are very risky so relying on a single altcoin is a bad decision, so you should diversify your assets. Although investing all your money in Bitcoin is not a bad decision, but I do not like to invest all my money in Bitcoin. I like to invest 90% of my money in Bitcoin and 10% in various altcoins, although nothing is certain in crypto but I consider it safe to invest most of my money in Bitcoin.
