In fact, almost all investments are risky, depending on how you manage them. Whether they're real or not, investments like Bitcoin, Altcoins, gold, property, or land are certainly risky, in my opinion. If you don't have expertise in those areas, it's difficult. Furthermore, following social media trends is common among young people, which can lead to disappointment.
Exactly. All investments have their own risks. But the level of the risks are different. Crypto investment is high risk, Gold investment is low risk, meanwhile property are in the medium level of risk. So, we should choose the investment wisely based on the level of the risks. Sure, we must have our own consideration, we don't need to follow the trends of other people. Each person probably has their own criteria to choose the assets.
The altcoin market is now more about scams and then market manipulation, some whales buys the token in a large amount and they they start to hype the token, when they have get so much liquidity, they will dump the market and often times, the token will suffer and die, even the team can't do anything but also abandon the project, some of the team that develop altcoin now are not even ready to help others earn bur they are more concerned about their own profit.
Altcoins are very risky. I personally become very selective in choosing altcoins. I only want to buy top altcoins with strong fundamentals, I avoid random altcoins with weak fundamentals or no fundamentals. We know the altcoins market is getting uncertain because we have no longer altcoinseason in the previous bullrun season. Moreover, we have too many issues of scams or failed projects (as you said above). So, it is very careless idea if we put all money in a single altcoin only.
