How possible are we going to forget the law of karma, which talks about what you do to others will also be returned back to you, which is a simple interpretation of the gravitational force law, which state that what ever goes up comes down, most of these our elite politicians have done a lot to achieve the status they are into now, some take their time to build up their credible reputation and recognition in well doing, when some are being dubious in all their ways in order to achieve their aims as a politician.

Any position you achieved by pretense or forceful acquisition will not last, there is what we call a hunting shadow, whereby the same measure in which you use to judge orders will be used against you when the time comes later in the future, therefore, don't dig a trap too deep against someone, because when you end up falling into it, there may be no one to rescue you out.

I am making this admonition to some of us that will be interested in going into politics, maybe we should have a rethink if we are truly persuaded by a community service or we are after power and how we could make use of our pride to ride on others people's rights, things like this are what makes people believe that politics is a dirty game, are we coming in to make the change or we are only interested about how we could constitute the nuisance in politics.

I don't know what to say, but having been from a country with very bad leaders, i can tell you that it is rare to see karma work. The bad politicians are getting richer, these politicians continue to build castle on the tears and suffering of the masses, yet they are not getting the kind of consequences they deserve.

I do not believe in waiting for karma, if only the citizens can put their heads together, they can peacefully or forcefully amend the problems, but in some part where some people are selling the future all for short gains when bribed and used by government, with the insecurity in my country, there are still those who are busy campaigning for the same government, what can karma do when we are the ones suffering ourselves.

I don't want to believe the law of karma works against politicians, those guys do a whole lot of sh*t while in government offices or political positions yet nothing happens to them after leaving office. These guys brazingly perpetrates evil against the citizens, yet they don't pay for their crimes, except you want to tell me that the law of karma is selective. The gravitational law that you stated is basically as a result of physical experiments but the law of karma is more of metaphysics, so both of them cannot really be compared to be the same thing as one deal with speculative mindsets while the other deals with reality.

If you look at what the present day politicians have turned politics into, a sane person will never think it neccesary to go into politics. You think politicians are concerned about Thier reputation? You think they care what People say about them? If they do, maybe, just maybe we would have experienced a better society by now.

But then, if you're only concerned about your reputation, you will never get into politics and those that are not supposed to find themselves in the position of power will continue to rule over the people that are supposed to lead. In summary, we get involved in politics because we don't have an alternative and definitely don't have another nation to run to. The only way we express our right as members of a community is to actively get involved in politics even if we're not going to contest for an active position.

Politics should be about serving people and improving society, not just about power, money or controlling others. Sadly, many politicians forget that whatever they do to people today may eventually come back to them in the future. When some leaders use intimidation, corruption or unfairness to gain power, but later end up facing the same treatment from others when they leave office. That is why people entering politics should think carefully about their intentions and remember that good leadership is built on honesty, fairness and service to the people.

The politicians we have these days are not scared of Karma, if truly Karma affects the politicians. I haven't seen any politician suffering and his suffering is attributed to Karma. You better wake up from that dream of thinking that Karma is going to catch up with any politician that has done shitty things just to remain in power. Don't interpret gravitational law with law of karma. Gravitational law is scientifically proven, it is factual while law of karma is not scientifically proven, not factual and it based on believe and faith.

I would say do what's right because you know that's right don't do what's right because you are scared of some supernatural force or punishment that doesn't make you a good person.

Until they come out and tell us what they are struggling with, we wouldn't know. But all we see are these politicians living in luxury and splendor. They live in some of the best houses and drive the latest cars. They are also making way for their children and other relatives to occupy political offices. If they are going through problems or suffering from karma, why are they still encouraging their family members to contest for elective positions?

You have said it all. It is fallacious to still believe that Karma exists especially in the political field. There's absolutely nothing like Karma or does Karma respect money too? I have always been hearing this talk of Karma visiting the bad people but why is it that they all live long and prosper, what else can Karma do, what else can a person use to pay for his sins aside death, bad health or poverty. Most of the world bad presidents live and die above 80 and they make the entire money  for their 10th generation. Karma is superstitious and does not exist anywhere. Okay, if you come to Africa, most of their leaders have spent many years in power and they still control the government and the people. They rule with force and they change the laws to suit their wicked plans. We have someone like Paul Biya of Cameroon who has been in power since over 40 years and still counting. He is healthy and still ruling, what is special about him that should warrant such period of leadership in this modern age? And you think there's Karma. Do your best to secure your children futures and don't hope that Karma will punish the bad government leaders because it won't happen.

It is quite unfortunate that gone are the days when politicians aims in governance were primarily prioritized on the well-being of the people, today's that the law's does not judge the rich anymore, politicians now focus on what would benefit them with the fact that after all they spent hugely to get into the office during their elections. And perhaps as many of them who came into the politics has been corrupted conditionally because if you don't dance to the tunes of the other alleys your political carriers will be at stake because the majority of the elites are already corrupted.

You are right on point and this what many people going into politics are suppose to have rethink of, but most of them don’t even care and just see it as an opportunity to go and take their share of the national cake (stealing public funds). These are bad moments in politics everywhere, people don’t want to lead for the sake of the people they’re representing to solve their problems and fulfill their promises to them, they’re just mostly after power and money. They become corrupt and power drunk that you can’t even approach them again. This should be a major question to be thrown to aspiring politicians, that’ll help us to know their true intention what they intend to use public funds for.

People join politics because of their personal beliefs and their experiences, politics is the name of serving people by creating or improving the infrastructure, making laws and regulation, creating fair opportunities for all the individual,  protecting the rights of common man but in reality the people who gain power often drawn by it, they start working for themselves instead off for the people, we have seen the concept of karma that what goes around comes around weather you take it spiritually or practically, it is true but in the case of politics we have seen that there are some bad leaders who stay in leadership or power for the long period of time as compared to those who are fair with the policy who are fair with the power. I have spent what seems to be thousands of hours on philosophy. The more time someone spends on philosophy, the more one realizes the government is a half-baked idea not really that close to what one could call a civilization. The government is very much set up in ways that reward bad behaviors. Furthermore, if you look back at history, governments were about collectively getting together to smash people's homes and grab all their things, then haul them away. When you look at history, you realize governments primary purpose is demanding tribute, something extremely obvious from the actual results of government. The charity programming was all a blatant lie.

Yes, we can band together to achieve civility, but the path is actually a generally peaceful path starting with equal rights. You don't have the right to take away other people's personal property for your personal social causes, and therefore you cannot delegate that right to an organization. Only by moral means of virtue and value can government be formed. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to accept your personal responsibility you already have as an emancipated person. When you see a problem, fix a problem, rather than attempting to vote away your responsibility to someone else in hopes they will fix a problem for you. So the answer to most of today's biggest problems are people who them selves participate in solutions without waiting for other people to ask them to vote or join a band of violent government thugs who make it worse rather than better.

The people claiming most of today's problems can't go way because that would be "a utopia" just don't understand the basic utility of peace and freedom as a path of life. What I'm asking for is basic respect of human rights, a simple thing everyone can accomplish collectively if only there would be a basic effort there from more people. There are a lot of basic problems that indeed have started to go away already with the inception of human rights, and that must continue over time.

Civility is slowly learned over time by those who notice the great philosophers and philosophies of this world, through the lens of virtue and value, and the people who have shown peaceful ways of life that have yet to be fully embraced. What we have now is not legit government because government must be based entirely in authority of virtue and value, not violent demands of respect and tribute.

They must be lenient with businesspeople, influential people, and even politicians must cheat and create legal frameworks to protect their interests. OP, is people that make politics a dirty game on a norms politics is an interesting game for the strong, weak people should not come close to politics, it's for the strong minds, you you can't endure losing as you enjoy winning then leave politics. Greedy and joblessness has made politics a career, before politics was a service oriented game not for personal interest. Make people borrowed money to play because if they manipulate their ways into power, that are sure to steal from the common wealth.

Do we have any evidence to back up your claim? And even god said that every sin will be forgiven, so why not the politicians?

Making money is the goal, you do it legally or illegally which doesn't matter, but your conscience will know that what you did, and some might not even realize that they are hurting others, like the Salamancas.

I doubt that many corrupt politicians in many countries cares about laws of Karma, if they do they wouldn't be too heartless towards their citizens, I've realized that many politicians especially in my country have sold their conscience to the devil, they are not moved by the sufferings of the masses. Maybe if law of karma were instant maybe there wouldn't be too many wicked politicians who don't care about the consequences of their wickedness.

In some parts of Nigeria, terrorists are killing people like ants while bandits are negotiating ransom payments with their victims families online without fear. The leaders have failed the people still they are getting ready for reelection next year and most will rig elections and enter while the killings and poverty will continue, you will wonder why karma is taking too long to deal with these evil politicians. As far as I have seen the consequences of bad deeds do not always come immediately and not all good people always get rewarded but in the long run a person's behavior and decisions make their reputation.  The same is true in politics. People may hold power for a while but once they lose trust, it is very difficult to regain it.

So in my opinion politics itself is not dirty but the intentions of people make it good or bad. When someone prioritizes personal gain over public service, that is when the problem starts. So the mindset of using power is more important than getting power, because people remember the leader's words as much as they remember his work.
