OGG Desktop v2.0.0 is now live.
This release brings a major update to the OGG Desktop wallet, including mining tools, improved transaction history, better stability, and builds for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
OGG Desktop is a GUI wallet and management tool for Oggchain. It allows users to create or import wallets, send and receive OGG, stake, unstake, claim rewards, track transactions, and now monitor mining activity directly from the desktop application.
Private keys remain encrypted locally on the user’s machine and do not leave the device.

* Windows installer
* Linux AppImage
* macOS Intel DMG
* macOS Apple Silicon DMG
Note: macOS builds are currently unsigned. On first launch, users may need to right-click the app and select “Open”.
Existing wallets carry over from previous versions. Users can install v2.0.0 over the older version.
Main changes in v2.0.0:
1. Mining tab added
A new mining section has been added to the wallet. Users can enter a miner wallet address and view pool-related information such as hashrate, workers, unpaid balance, and last share.
The wallet also provides ready-to-copy mining commands with the user’s wallet address filled in automatically.
Quick links are included for:
* Official Pool
* Mining4People
* Rplant
2. Transaction history improved
Transaction history now loads automatically after login. Sends, stakes, unstakes, claims, and withdrawals are now shown more clearly and consistently.
3. Send confirmation added
After sending OGG, the wallet now shows a success confirmation with a clickable transaction hash that opens directly in the explorer.
4. Stability and performance improvements
Data loading has been improved and now runs more efficiently. The wallet also handles network issues better by keeping last known values instead of showing blank screens or repeated errors.
5. Desktop build improvements
Windows, Linux, and macOS builds have been improved, including better clipboard support, tray behavior, and single-instance launch handling.
6. UI polish
The dashboard has been cleaned up with better cards, OGG logo placement beside balances, an optional background glow toggle, and a more organized layout.
Core features included:
* Multi-wallet support
* Create or import wallets
* Import by private key or keystore
* Send and receive OGG
* Live gas estimates
* MAX button for sending full available balance
* Staking, unstaking, cooldown tracking, and reward claiming
* Address book
* Tribe Pool and governance tools
* On-chain proposals and voting
* Explorer links for addresses and transactions
* Full transaction history
* Auto-lock
* Local encrypted key storage
* Light and dark themes
Next steps:
Development is continuing on Wrapped OGG, the bridge, and a basic DEX. If testing goes well, the next planned release will include Wrapped OGG and basic DEX functionality.
OGG is also waiting on CoinMarketCap and MiningPoolStats updates. After those are completed, the project plans to continue pushing toward another exchange listing.
Mine. Stake. Build. Repeat.
Ogg strong together.
