Anyone using ChatGPT for betting analysis?

I prefer to make use of prediction sites instead of AI. On the prediction sites, I can see lists of some selected matches which I will manually further to analyze to know if I should go for any of it or not go for any of it. I can not use AI because I know it will also use the information on the internet to give me result and I know the possible outcome it will predict.

But I may specifically use AI to further ask what could be the possible outcome of a match that I have chosen already, but using the AI to make conclusion that I will expect. I rarely do this.

ChatGPT has every stat available so it can be extremely useful to analyze a game, but you gotta remember to factor in the unpredictable before making a large bet. The stat comparison alone is not enough to trust completely. I used AI for 4 games and ended up going 2-2 so IMO don't bet the house on AI predictions.

Ai can actually help in sports betting, most especially for getting useful information and getting to know about games you had no idea about, but then I think the main point is exactly what you said, using it as an assistant, and not as a platform to predict games for you. Form my observation when it comes to nba or tennis, Ai is actually useful because those sports have a lot that you don’t know about and will need basic knowledge form AI to have a better understanding about those games and as for chatgbt i think it helps most is reducing research time cause instead of spending hours checking stats of the game, you can analyse everything very fast with chat GBT and then make your own decision. If you have your own analytical methods, ChatGPT and other AI tools can make this easier, but none of them can perform an analysis from scratch as consistently as you can. After all, the entire purpose of AI is to simplify things and we still need humans to create something from scratch. That’s why you should use AI according to its capabilities. If you don’t try asking ChatGPT for the outcome of a match, you’re not making the most of the available technology. For example, for the Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal, you could ask ChatGPT to analyze the final result, but if the result it provides is far from your own analysis, the decision ultimately rests with you.
My answer is, I’ve never used ChatGPT for betting, even though I’ve asked it to analyze a soccer match.

I think gamblers are too intelligent to use ChatGPT for betting analysis. I know that there were several attempts already from some members here to used it before and the result is not that good. I remember one thread and the sports is MMA/UFC.

So he did go and bet what ChatGPT or any AI at that time and the result was catastrophic. But not sure if we will get a good AI bot that can help us in any sports betting. It's better to just rely on our analytics to bet and sports betting needs human touch.

Sometime I use AI but I will research further to finds more data. I am not rely on AI because that can makes me make a wrong decision but I don't know with others, maybe they can use AI with right so they can get the right option. I used AI for fun and compared what I found from other sources but AI just collecting more data for you and you need to research more and make sure with your choice. I've never used an AI to assist my analysis, but I will try it soon. I might use this period to try different AI tools and see the one I like best, so that before the regular club season starts, I will know which I can use.
They can only give me team news, player news, the stats of both teams and the H2H of that fixture. If the Ai tool can also show how teams perform in both halves of football, that would come in handy for me.
I don't spend too much time analysing games, because I feel it's a waste of time. So if I get something that can give me an accurate summary of everything I mentioned, then with my own intuition, I might make more accurate decisions.

I would try first for the World Cup, if I have the time. If it works out, I would try it when the season starts. I'm usually not the type that spends so much time analysing games.

It is better you analyse the bet by yourself and don't depends on the AI tools. ChatGPT is the last resort for me as a bettor. Why ? well , if you mess up with chatgpt long enough based on a game , at the end he will chose both outcomes to be possible because whenever he chooses an outcome , he will say that the 2nd one has also a chance if they do this and that. So , chatgpt in betting has super low chances to say something relevant regarding that bet you want to place.

If you want to have outcomes based on pure AI and stats , you go with forebet. ( worth to watch when the AI goes red 4-5 days and place on his outcomes on the 6th day ).

I feel there is not much discussion here about using AI tools and our own prompts for betting analysis.

For me personally AI was actually more useful than I expected, specially for NBA and tennis.
Not saying it can magically predict games, but it helps a lot with checking player form, injuries, playstyles, motivation spots and sometimes finding value bets faster.

I have used it and the results are also not much different from the results of my personal predictions, the conclusion is that Ai reads the news that goes into their data then processes and assesses everything based on the available statistics that they can access.
There is no certain victory, or you can say there is no guarantee even if you use AI in making analysis to bet, the match cannot be predicted and sometimes what we believe will happen can be denied by the results of the match.

I don't use AI for this. I don't know, I don't trust AI. Sometimes it makes huge mistakes, and it could give you incorrect or outdated data. I'd prefer to go back to the old days when AI didn't exist. I find the process of analyzing and choosing bets more fun because I think that part is also part of the betting experience. And when you use AI, you lose the fun and focus only on the money, which isn't healthy.

I wished that OP should have shared with us his success rate of relying on ChatGPT for stats, it would have perhaps encouraged some of us that have never relied on AI for predictions before. Anyway if I want to place a bet I don't go too deeply into analysis I just make a few digs and bet with amount that I'm comfortable to loose because from my personal experience and that of my bettor friends indept analysis is not a guarantee to win.

This is what I’m doing too when using Chatgpt to assist me for my betting analysis. It’s easier to let an AI collect the data needed instead of manually checking the specific stats on different site.

I’m the one who will make the analysis while the AI summarizes the performance of each team based on my desired stats comparison on specific timeframe.

I recently noticed that even artificial intelligence can give some wrong analysis in data So sometimes you need to even verify the data that you get from using artificial intelligence because it may just be wrong.

I never use ChatGPT to monitor sports betting. It seems quite possible but not everything works properly. So one should not take too much risk in betting. In my opinion, it is better to observe everything yourself.In addition to being more experienced, more confidence in oneself increases.

Actually you can make use of both as long it would be that relevant or helpful on your part of your analysis then it would be just that up to you. We cant be able to deny that AI is really that helpful on trying out to seek information in just a few clicks or prompts on which you will be able to get those information in a snap but of course you would be needing up to verify as AI information couldnt be perfect, and then after that then you can go into those prediction sites to aligned those information that you get on AI then use up on what you had seen on prediction sites. It will be that up to you on which one you do prefer on which i can say that both would really be that relevant when we do some sports betting. If you do like on sticking with prediction sites then its up to you but having AI isnt that a bad option either.

For me the biggest value is speed and organization. Instead of spending hours checking injuries, recent form, scheduling spots and stats manually, AI can gather everything much faster and sometimes point out angles I missed.

Also I am personally more interested in finding value bets than simply predicting winners. Sometimes the value is on the main result, sometimes on player props or other side markets.

If AI helps me understand where the market may be overreacting compared to the odds being offered, then honestly I am already satisfied with that.

I agree human analysis is still more important overall.

But honestly I don't think most people use AI correctly. Asking "who will win this match?" is probably the worst way to use it.

I see it more like research assistant than prediction machine. Specially for sports like NBA where there is huge amount of stats, injuries, scheduling and player information to process every day.
