What is Minted & Gone?

Minted & Gone is a historical index of NFT marketplaces.

The project documents active marketplaces, inactive platforms, acquisitions, mergers, rebrands, shutdowns, and other significant events in the history of NFT trading platforms.

Its purpose is to make NFT marketplace history easier to research, preserve, and understand over time.

Why build this?

Many NFT marketplaces have appeared, changed, merged, or disappeared since the early days of the NFT ecosystem.

While major platforms remain well known, information about smaller, regional, or discontinued marketplaces often becomes fragmented over time.

Minted & Gone aims to provide a structured historical reference that makes those records easier to discover and research.
