I want to give you some bad news now, which is actually a reality. We have already seen the bull season of Bitcoin in 2025, now Bitcoin is basically moving from the bull season to the bear season. Im not a guru though, but from my little experience i will tell you to not worry about if you have your way acquire more because bitcoin will appreciate again and you’ll be alive to witness is dont panic it is normal for price to dip and sometimes the dip take longer that even 6 months or a year and even more than a year sometimes. But it has always been reward the patient once so I’ll advise you should focus on on your portfolio rather having negative  thoughts, this is even the best time to acquire more because bitcoin will the price is less now and you can get more that the fraction you go when the price was higher using your $500 as example. Nobody really knows how long it will last. Crypto moves in cycles, and deep corrections have happened many times before. Lol, the price of bitcoin is currently above $70k, I hope you know that there was a time it dropped below $60k before it rose to above $80k approaching $90k if I am not mistaken, before it dropped to where it is currently, if you are feeling like this right now, I wonder you must have felt like when the price was below $60k.

But anyways, no body is an expert in predicting the price of bitcoin, but one thing I definitely will tell you is that so long as you do not sell but keep holding your bitcoin, then you have hope of retrieving your invested capital and even making profit, the only sacrifice you have to make is to be patient and wait, how much long you will have to wait is what I do not know, but you should know that bitcoin investment is usually for the long term, gone are the days when you invest in bitcoin today and start making profit tomorrow except we are in a heart of a bull run.

I will tell the OP, this is according to the history of 2018 and 2022 during the Bearish cycle. The Bearish cycle itself generally only occurs for 1 year, as it happened in 2018 starting with the red candle from January 2018 to the closing red candle in January 2019, then after that it entered a recovery until it finally reached the ATH again in 2021.

The pattern repeats even though the month is not exactly the same, in 2022 the red candle starting in November 2021 continues to move down until the red candle closes December 2022, then after that it recovers and reaches the ATH again in 2025.

In 2026, I think it is still the same, currently it is still in the middle of the year so the possibility of this decline is still halfway.

This Is why you should get better knowledge of the market before jumping to invest in it.dont be too excited when you are told about an investment and rush to investment.
