Well not everyone can afford to keep doing DCA because not all of us are blessed with sources of income that makes us enough money from which we can save money for making investments as well, because most people earn only enough money to spend on their needs. Bitcoin has to do with benefits and lost, if you invest $500 in bitcoin and just a sudden the price collapsed, do not panic to withdraw the remaining, because if you withdraw the remaining you're going to lose...it will be helpful to leave it there until when bitcoin price will rise and meet up with the value you invested with.....Nobody can tell you accurately when the price of Bitcoin will increase, as it falls it will also rise again...

Although bitcoin price will tuch ath or surpass one day no one can guarantee when it's gonna happen, so you have to hold tight. Did you buy bitcoin at ath or something? In my own analysis bitcoin will go down within few weeks around $55k so my own opinion is bitcoin price won't rise within few weeks.

I don't understand what you meant by Bitcoin returning to it's original price, I wouldn't consider any price to be an original price because one thing we should all know is that the price is never to settle at one point, it goes up and comes down and anyone buying Bitcoin in bull run or in bear season and expecting it to always be moving upward doesn't really seems to understand the market, how long a dip or bear market will last is unpredictable and the same thing goes to the bull market when it comes,  Bitcoin will rise again but we can't be certain how fast this can happen now point being discouraged instead you keep buying cheaper.

If he get it at lower price  sometime  just like now then it's just an added advantage  but it's not really  something  that he should  alway  be targeting or always waiting  for the price to go down or up before buys. I am speaking  from a DCA mindset  I just continue  with what I normally  do the current  price just gave me the opportunity  to get more with the same money I usually  use to DCA.

As we have seen recently sentiment is extremely fearful and many people that wanted to buy above $100k a lot are gone now nowhere to be found. Sure some of them did buy what they wanted, but many didn't or were regularly buyers. It simply does not make sense to buy only on the uptrend and never on the downtrend, so from my own personal estimation maybe even fewer than 10 percent of people are actually doing this and everyone else is just acting along with their emotions. Often I also see people writing negative things if the sentiment is fearful and instantly positive things if it is positive even if nothing new happened or nothing big changed with Bitcoin, that is not good.

Do you mean you invested the $500 in Bitcoin or on shitcoin?
Is important for you to choose the right coin to invest in and in doing that, always make sure that Bitcoin is at the center of that investment portfolio, unless you want to lose your money along the way just like you lost your $500, but none the less, as long as you're u keep building and gaining knowledge, you will definitely make better decisions in the future as regards to you crypto portfolio and investment.
