Chipcoin

A Bitcoin-inspired Proof-of-Work blockchain exploring
protocol-level incentives for independent node operators.

Why?

Bitcoin rewards miners.

Chipcoin explores whether full node operators can also
be incentivized without abandoning PoW.

Current features:

• Proof of Work
• UTXO model
• Fixed supply (11M CHC)
• Shared halving schedule
• Native node rewards
• Public bootstrap network
• Snapshot synchronization
• Browser wallet
• Public explorer

Status

✓ Public testnet live
✓ Multi-node validation completed
✓ Explorer online
✓ Mining operational

Looking for:

• Node operators
• Miners
• Developers
• Security reviewers
• Protocol feedback

Questions and criticism are welcome.

Development Update #1

The public testnet remains operational and continues to be validated across multiple independent hosts.

Current status:

• Public testnet online
• Public explorer operational
• Bootstrap network active
• Snapshot synchronization available
• Browser wallet available
• Multi-node validation completed

What we're currently interested in:

1. Feedback on the node reward model
2. Sybil-resistance assumptions
3. Independent node operators willing to test synchronization and network stability
4. General protocol review

One question for the community:

Bitcoin rewards miners for securing the network.

If full nodes were to receive protocol-level rewards, what would be the biggest challenge to solve?

Sybil resistance?
Economic incentives?
Protocol complexity?
Something else?

Feedback and criticism are welcome.
