Hey everyone,

There isn't much to introduce, as many of you already know me. So, long story short, I decided to open this thread mainly to share some of my photography skills with the community. I am not a professional photographer, just someone who really enjoys capturing interesting moments whenever possible, in my free time of course, a sort of a hobby. It's been always one of my interests, and so from time to time, I'll be posting some of my shots here.

Additionally, I'll be using this thread as my personal portfolio or reference, in case someone wants to buy some of my photos.

Disclaimer: I know this is a free forum and anyone can do anything, but please Do Not Use My Photos Without My Permissions. I, me, DYING_S0UL, is the sole owner of these photos.

Some of the photos might be edited, color graded as photographers usually don't show the RAW ones, also quality decreased as forum doesn't allow images more than 2.5 mb, LOL.

(I used AI to compile this post - not entirely though, I did modified where needed, the AI helped with the initial drafting and formatting.)

As for your question, I used Vivo X300 Pro (without teleconverter Lens), and yeah most of them are unedited (raw), and some are only color graded (no filter used). For example, the 1st one is color graded, but the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on are real images (majority of them are untouched). As for raw, they are not in actual raw format, I clicked them in PNG/JPG format. I do have support for RAW/sRAW (for images), and LOG (for videos), but I'm still learning, so I prefer to open and click, rather than shoot in actual RAW, color grade again and all those lengthy steps..

Gotta say, this photo of the three men lounging high up on the branches of the tree is incredible - favorite one so far.

As for this specific photo, I would say they were breaver. They weren't just standing there, they were jumping off the tree branches, as below was a big lake/pond. It was raining that day and boys were being boys. You know, it brought back a lot of good memories..

The second one was surely a lot difficult. Capturing an insect of that little, that keeps flying every seconds, takes more than normal efforts. After several attempts, and running here and there I was finally able to capture it. Half the credit goes to the firefly, as he was calm and less flying.

I guess yes! Why not! I don't see any harm in trying. And Vod also said something similar, that he'll help setting up a place where it can be done. The more platforms, the better..

Have you ever thought about buying a professional camera?

I had (still have) a semi-professional, but I don't use it anymore. It is outdated, despite having good quality.
But I used it a lot, I took thousands of photos with.

Right you are. You aren't just buying a phone just to talk, you are buying a full fledged professional camera. Although, photographers POV also matters.

I have not, as I cannot afford one, they are toooo expensive. Although, I really like the ones from Hasselblad.

You should share some..lol..

Not many people will see the calmness and satisfaction in this pictures,
It's so sad now how the world is carried away and distracted by flashy things, and as a result it Spikes up their dopamine making them not to see how beautiful stuffs like this are.
And I'm so happy that I also have people with my picture taste, when I show some people pictures I like similar to this they feel I'm weird, but I'm not it's just that they don't understand, but here are people who do

You must have been practicing for a long time to deliver quality such as these. Can you share how long you've been doing this and the learning curve. Do you advice a beginner to start with a phone or a professional-grade camera?

It's just an assumption. Also, it's not always about the device, but the user too. I have seen a guy, who takes the most beautiful stunning photos with the most outdated mobile phone. Moreover, handling a professional camera requires some level of experience or teachings, which I don't have.

No external kit was used. Only me and my mobile.
I just capture whenever I can, there are no practice sessions.
You can start with any devices, it doesn't matter. What's most important in photography is one's POV. How you frame it.

Hey bro, I am absolutely impressed by your photography. The fact that all this was done using a phone camera even makes it more remarkable!
Had you not mentioned anything like using a phone camera, I wouldn't have even ever imagined that the photos were taken through a phone. With the photography skills you have, it looks like the Vivo X300 Pro is an absolute beast.
