Which leads us to a more serious question: Are humans dependable enough to be their own banks?

Aside from our loud mouths especially when we're under the influence of alcohol, we've also got a lot of weakness that we seem to be too unreliable to properly function as our own banks.

Our memory is also very weak we easily forget where we hid our backups. We forget passwords. We wear Bitcoin caps and drink coffee from Bitcoin-designed mugs. We can hardly refrain ourselves from sharing our investment options. The list goes on.

Except it is far easier and more practical to keep your Bitcoin secret than the pile of cash inside your closet/under the bed/buried in the backyard. The problem is you can keep it so secret that you lose access to it quite easily.

Redundancy is usually overlooked but actually the thing that keeps you from losing your access to your seed phrases, you can encrypt it or anything but always create multiple source of retrieval.

Or you can setup multisig wallet maybe 2/6 and back up all your 6 seed phrases somewhere so you need at least 2 keys to withdraw your money.

The possibility to secure your things with bitcoin is practically endless.

It gets really hard to keep their mouths shut these days, especially when they're with folks they believe they can trust. But the thing is, you truly can't trust nobody, just because you are not capable of hurting others, doesn't mean others won't be willing to do so when/if they get the chance to. The heart of man is desperately evil, more reasons why people should learn to keep some secrets, especially about their finances because it's not even necessary to give out such information to others, except of course your spouse.

Well it depends on the kind of spouse you got and your relationship with them. I know people can change along the line, but I don’t just like the idea of keeping secrets from one’s spouse. I tell my wife everything about my finances because it’s literally hers too, so what’s the point of hiding it, besides no one knows what would happen the next minute, and it’s always nice to have that one person you can trust would make the right decisions with your money should something happens to you, for me, I don’t see anyone who best occupies that position than my wife, that’s why I’m always open to her, and she knows better than going to blab about our finances.

If you’re seeing clear red flags that obviously threatens your finances in your partner and you still ahead to grant them full access to your stash, then that’s pure stupidity, not love. The reason I’m personalizing this is because it’s more of a personal choice. Not all partners are the same, I’m saying I trust my partner because I haven’t for once observed any form of red flags that I can say stands as a thread to our finances, but this may obviously not be the same for others, so I’m speaking more from a personal perspective and experience.

It has always been discussed before that when someone is attacked either by hackers or maybe robbers for his bitcoin then such person has definitely left a trace and this trace can be either through hot wallets for hackers, or has flaunted his investment in the social media and got exposed then or simply must have used his mouth to announce his bitcoin.

If you read about the whole reports of bitcoinier been physically attacked to submit their wallet seed or private key by robbers then be sure that two things have happened. One is that his information might be leaked by some people like the situation France when people declare their assets or the owner himself invite the robbers through his mouth

Poverty is also a great way to protect yourself . I always joke about it, but the reality is that, if any hacker tries to hack me, I am feeling always very comfortable, because there is literally nothing they can steal lol, they would in fact leave it with more than they found it because of how much they pity me. Unarguably, humans are naturally their own vulnerability.
A lot of people don't know what confidentiality truly means. People prefer to keep their personal matters/problems confidential, but make themselves vulnerable to theft that can be avoided. No one goes about attacking others because of their personal matters. They only go for things that are valuable. It's possible to own bitcoin, and still walk on the street like you know nothing. People just don't know how to make the right things confidential, acting like 'basic confidentiality' is a rocket science.

If we keep the fact that I have Bitcoin a secret and keep it a secret, then our target will really be 0% because no one will know that I have Bitcoin and if no one knows, no one will suspect me. In fact, we cannot keep ourselves a secret. We tell everyone with our mouth and our emotions that I have Bitcoin investment, not only to everyone, we publish it anywhere, whether someone wants to hear it or not, but because of this, we get involved in Bitcoin theft.
