Even in childhood, you can’t enjoy life without money. A wise man said, “If you are enjoying a free and peaceful life, then someone had already suffered to build that life for you.”

In childhood, there are orphans who have no one to provide for them. Some are just in the streets, finding it hard to feed, talkmore of even going to school. You might have had a good and simple childhood because your parents were able to provide for you, while in adulthood, you are the one responsible for providing for yourself, sustaining your parents. And if you have children, the same applies to them.

While on the wealthy people’s side, their great grandparents had already worked for them. All they have to do is be disciplined and maintain the family businesses, so that they can pass the wealth down to their children.

I completely agree with what you're saying. Life is beautiful, but only for those who have money. Those without money spend their time trying to make money. That's not a fair trade-off. You have to give up your time to reach the same level as those who have money. Indeed, in the society you need money. What you are missing (and I've been missing too at your age) is that people can enjoy life also with small amount of money, people can enjoy life also if they spend part of it working, people can enjoy life even if they don't own expensive stuff. But imho those who can enjoy life even in scarcity are a special kind of people, pretty rare, pretty hard to find.

The society tends to calculate happiness via success and success via the expensive goods you own. This also drives the sad reality that the more you earn, the more you spend, making you, sooner or later, a slave of the job and money. If you can break this circle and find the ways to enjoy life no matter what, you probably won. I think that this could be one meaning of that quote/autograph.

Your point is correct to some extent, but doing a $500 job for $50 basically means you will have to compromise on quality. And when you lower the quality while charging the next person more money, then in the long term it will not benefit you at all because eventually no one will want to work with you again. In the short term, projects may keep coming and you may continue scamming people, but in the long run you cannot really benefit from it.

When you start making money, it will become the only important thing in your life, and even after getting a lot of money, you will still keep chasing more of it instead of actually enjoying your life.

A lot of people keep saying to buy Bitcoin and hold it until death, but if one day you are going to die anyway, then what is the point of only holding forever? A better approach is to buy and accumulate your Bitcoin gradually through DCA, and when you make a good profit, book some of it and enjoy your life as well. I totally agree, who wouldn't agree to this if they have seen practical life themselves? I mean, you can't even enjoy as a child if your parents are not well-off, because they can only fulfill all your wishes and give you the best life as a child if they can afford to do it, and if they don't have much money to spend on anything, even your childhood will be miserable and we often see these things happening with people around us, most of us have even been through it ourselves. A lot of us have seen rich kids going around in cars and having the best stuff there are while we would even walk school and manage with whatever we could get because we weren't from a rich household.

Those who say you shouldn't worry about money and enjoy your life are delusional for even thinking that life can be enjoyed without money. We live in a world where everything has a cost, and if you don't have it, you will be deprived of it. I think it depends on what you expect from life. If your expectations are all about money and status, then there is a high chance you are going to get frustrated in case you don't own the resources to acquire what you are looking for.

I believe that if someone truly wants to be happy, they will always find a reason to rejoice in this life. Take indigenous tribes, for example—they don’t live in a world centered around money. They find joy in natural phenomena and see their true happiness in their children.

Whether we agree or not, we are in a difficult economic situation because our current sources of income are quite limited, compounded by a lack of knowledge on how to manage finances properly to achieve a much better life. Not everyone is born with wealth from their parents, so those born less fortunate must struggle to build financial freedom independently. If we are still debating the current situation, when will we be able to strive for a prosperous life by achieving financial freedom?

Starting small and doing it consistently, I'm confident that we will slowly achieve financial freedom in the future. There is a lot of pessimism. OP, do you think that someone who does not engage in fraud or does not have rich ancestors will not be able to build a prosperous life for himself? I disagree. Your teacher's words were a good motivator, but you took them very literally. Loving life does not mean having any pleasure at all. I'm sure the teacher meant to love life in spite of everything, to enjoy what you see and hear, and to know that you are healthy and that you have eyes, arms, and legs.

Money? That's something you can acquire. To have them, you don't need to whine, but you need to act. "It's not the gods who burn pots. When I read the title, I wondered if it meant that we have to lick in order to live a better life. LOL
It is possible to enjoy life if you don't have enough money to buy what you need, but should it be adjusted to other people's standards that enjoying life must have a car or in a luxurious place, it's not always like that I guess.
 
If you can have $500 income with $50 capital it's not cheating or deceiving but it's ingenious, a lot of things can be done like that, unless you really cheat, you shouldn't do that.
