Lack of updates can also make one vulnerable to scammers, the world is changing everyday, new terms are coming up, methods are changing, but whenever we learn a thing we stop there. Scammers are so intelligent they're aware that one of the ways you portray confidence is by knowledge, and in so doing they appear as a genuine one to us. But if we're updated, we know when changes has been applied, we aware of new techniques and methods then we won't appear like a novice.
You are very correct, lack of updates can make someone vulnerable to scammers, therefore we have to always stay updated. Scammers always change their tactics when people become familiar with the old ones, and learning about new scams can also help you avoid becoming a victim.

You are very correct, lack of updates can make someone vulnerable to scammers, therefore we have to always stay updated. Scammers always change their tactics when people become familiar with the old ones, and learning about new scams can also help you avoid becoming a victim. This is indeed very true that scammers are very dynamic in their modus operandi, they change with time and that is how they start looking for new methods that people have not really known. That is why it is very vital and important that one should have a close eyes at what we are doing and be very much conscious of scammers who look for every means everyday to scam people of their hard earned money. But I see that most of this scammers don't just get into our private affairs if you dont give them the permission to do that, I am saying this because before some persons are scammed, these scammers ask them to send certain codes which the moment those codes are sent, they will hack whatever they want to hack, that is why it is important to keep your personal informations privet, so that those around you who are monitoring you to scam you of your money will not be able to have easy access to you funds. Some persons also think of they are technical enough, and know everything about cyber crime, that they can't be scammed, well, I will simply advice you to just pray and be careful because when these scammers want to scam us, they will put you in a confused state that you won't even remember to do those things that you already know about, untll you have either given them what they need.

The reason why scammers are still getting success is that they continuously update there attack vectors and there are people who remain unaware of there latest strategies. People who don't update them self regarding new techniques of scammers are potential target of scammers. Scammers rely on mistakes of people like they have to download malicious files or click unknown link. It is not necessary that only non-technical people will be victim of scammers but technical people who are not aware of whats happening in current cyber world can also become victim of scammers.

I agree, and they'll always find a loophole that makes sense, even if it's generally impossible. What drives someone to do that is the incomplete verification process of what's happening. Of course, in some cases, relying on learned practices can provide some insight into decisions, but scammers have already read and simulated their targets' thinking, especially if they're application-based.

I think it's just that the human factor has now become a tidbit in the hacking system. Well, for example, why crack the code if you can send a phishing email that will deceive a negligent IT specialist. After all, an intelligent and executive specialist does not mean that he is always attentive and careful in life.

Right, anyone can fall for scammers' tricks, even if you're familiar with numerous scams, understand their structure, and how they work. It only takes one mistake, like being tired or letting your guard down and acting carelessly. All of this can lead to mistakes and potential threats. But knowing the basics of security will greatly improve the protection of your funds. This doesn't guarantee you'll be able to avoid every scam, but it's better to be informed and understand where threats can come from.

Scams are common because scammers want a large amount of money in a second, which is possible by trapping people who have no knowledge of the internet and scams. The people who are doing scams are not uneducated because they have proper knowledge of online World and cryptocurrency and they know that how to get password and how to get key phrases of the Wallet and they can call you or message and then they will give you some information about you and you will think he is a genuine person and you will give seed phrases to him and be aware of fake links because these can rober with you because there are multiple types of scams which are waiting for the future. People who have knowledge can handle the situation and can research before taking any step.

You are right but if you are technically good, you are unlikely going to bump to them, if they see you and try they luck with you, there is this sense of guide that you will always have even if they come up with new tactics. Scammers don't have new things to get people, they look at new opportunities like the new trend or they do the same scams that they have tried before. They have this believe that if they did before and they have victims, they can still try it again and it's going to be successful.

Having technical knowledge alone will not completely save you from scammers because everyday scammers are coming up with new tricks, making it easier for them to keep scamming people. As someone who has technical knowledge, for you not to fall for fraud, you need to have knowledge on how scammers operate, having self believe of not sending money to someone you do not know and reading other people's scam stories will always protect you from scammers and you will not to be a victim to fraud.

It's true that scammers might improve their skills to keep up with technological developments. But actually, the scammers' schemes aren't that different. What we need to internalize is not to easily engage with other people. I believe scams designed by scammers are more likely to target beginners because they know beginners are the easiest potential victims.

I agree that technical knowledge alone isn't enough, but I would add one more factor: humility. Many scams don't succeed because the victim lacks knowledge; they succeed because the victim believes they already know enough and lowers their guard. In Bitcoin, every transaction is final, so confidence without verification can be expensive. A technically skilled user can still click a phishing link, trust a fake support account, or rush into an investment because it appears to come from a reputable source. That's why habits such as verifying URLs, questioning urgency, and taking a few minutes to think before acting are just as important as understanding wallets or signatures. Technical knowledge teaches you how Bitcoin works, while critical thinking teaches you when to trust and when to slow down. The safest users are usually those who combine both instead of relying on either one alone.

If you lack understanding in a certain area you are definitely going to get outsmarted by people that are more knowledgeable than you, are, this is the reason why if you decide to learn something let's say crypto for example you have to go through the right channels or reliable sources like the forum and other platforms you can rely on.
A lot of people have been scammed all because they asked the wrong people questions. Technical knowledge might not be everything but it is the foundation. But having technical can't completely save you from this.
Some people get scammed not because they lack technical knowledge but scammers use their greed against them, this is the reason why it is Important to be disciplined.

You are very correct, lack of updates can make someone vulnerable to scammers, therefore we have to always stay updated. Scammers always change their tactics when people become familiar with the old ones, and learning about new scams can also help you avoid becoming a victim. Nowadays, the fraud tactics of scammers have also changed a lot. If you do not keep yourself up to date, there is a possibility of becoming a victim. Again, there is no chance of thinking that you are safe just by knowing about the new types of scams. You also need to know how to stay safe as a user. There are some simple things that if you pay attention to well, you can stay safe from unwanted situations. If you can match the address twice before making any transaction, it is a good way. If your seed phrase is kept in a safe place and unknown links are avoided, then the chances of the user falling for the scam will be greatly reduced. It must be accepted that some become victims because they don't know. Some may be victims because they are not up to date, while others know everything but become victims because they are careless.

Scammers are highly technical people, who are well informed about latest trends of the market. You can't be a successful hunter unless you know where exactly is your prey and how to hunt him down. Scammers just place there trap and its up to us whether to fell on that trap or just walk beside that trap. If Scammers are not aware of what people are thinking then they won't be able to scam them. We just need to keep our self updated about the latest techniques of scammers and remain vigilant all the time.

Having technical knowledge is important and in my opinion that's going to be enough to be able to protect you from scam. People that fall for scams even with the technical knowledge that they have get into such situations because they either decided to be ignorant or perhaps their greed or curiosity made them fall victim for such. But in everything we do having a technical know how is important, always know your way around it with needing to rely on anyone for information. In the aspect of crypto scammers are knowledgeable and if you don't equip yourself or try to know more you might be at risk of getting scammed.

Anybody that says that scammers are lazy people who don't want to do real jobs where they will get honest pay doesn't understand what it takes to be a scammer, these are intelligent thieves who understands how to manipulate people to become interested in their schemes. They are well informed because they have indept ideas of how normal administrative structures functions and they will find loopholes in systems where they will act like their being of service meanwhile they want to scam uninformed victims. To avoid being scammed you shouldn't engage in anything that you don't fully understand especially online and don't be greedy to make quick money online, that is where they get most of their victims who wants quick returns on investments. Unrealistic offers would make some people not to apply common sense, their primary focus would be to make the money not knowing that scammers want to drain their own money.

And when you come across such offline scam related activities, being technical with online stuffs and avoiding clicking of links won’t matter. People are scammed when they can’t control their greed level and desperations of getting everything at once. When you are not a greedy or desperate person, you will hardly fall for scams.

As we know one must not have technical knowledge entirely before they could start their investments, in fact what that is needed is for the said investor to know when someone is planning and trying to scam you. What ever that is too real often becomes fake so, people should not be that too greedy as well because scammer could offer someone a life changing opportunities and if you aren't smart enough then the person gets entrapped by the scammers. Whenever you are being brief or giving a proper orientation towards their investments then it would be hard for them to lose their investments or asset.

Yes, the point is, we just have to be careful right now, and never open or click on anything that looks suspicious. Because that's essentially where scammers start to rob or deceive us. So, with the rapid advancements of this era, with everything easily accessible, we have to be even more cautious. Because sometimes, what seems practical and convenient is the most likely place for scammers to take advantage. Even in my area, someone can be scammed even with a phone call, and I don't understand why. And what scares me is that there was once an incident where someone was called by a scammer, and the person who was scammed spoke normally. But then it turned out the scammer had recorded their voice and possibly used AI to imitate it and use it to deceive. So, with that in mind, we all need to be careful right now. Because in this day and age, evil and truth are separated by only a very thin barrier.

So, feel free to give your 2 cents on this discussion.
To say the least is to point out and reiterate that greed is the major factor that make people fall into scam (especially online scam). What I'm I saying? If you have one on one discussion with those who have been scammed online, you would see that they are actually chasing for something bigger than what they are giving out. Like they see someone offering something online and they are almost requiring nothing for them to benefit on that thing. We have to understand that nothing goes for free in most cases, and someone you don't have personal relationship with will hardly gift you or do a service for you that doesn't require alot more from you because even in free town, there are no free meals or lunch. That is a popular saying to connote that there is always a cost for something and the earlier people understand and work through this, the lesser there will be incidence of scam..
