You need to be careful circulating random crap you find on social media, even if it is true - which you're not sure if it is - then all you're sharing is sadness. There is never a good excuse for taking your own life, whether it's a football match or any other reason. However you can throw yourself into some pretty miserable scenarios if you take make any number of reckless choices in life - road rage violence, throwing all your money on a single bet outcome, jumping before you look at the destination. Not talking about this guy, but you'll often find that people constantly make bad choices and instead of learning, improving and steering their life in the right direction they try to push blame on to others or give up. Although I'm not a fan of Arsenal but I was supporting them to win the UEFA championship because it was a long time coming for them to clinch a major trophy, after winning the premiership many of us were hoping that they will cap it up by winning the UEFA but it didn't happen. I didn't go through the video, but would believe it's AI generated video than being a real incident.

We can be frustrated, upset, or whatever negative feeling we have. But we should not be taking our life over a bet that we didn't win, even if we are a big fan of the team.

I think it's absurd when a gambler takes his own life just because he lost a bet. That just means he placed a bet that he or she cannot afford to lose, which is why he will go as far as taking his own life just to satisfy his own frustration.
This is so wrong. There will always be another game. Another year. Another season. In delving into the discussion regarding the topic, it is important to note that while it is very easy to discern and understand that our lives are far more important than all the financial losses that we've incurred in gambling, still, these continuous losses blind and cloud our judgement from clarity.

Like what you said OP, you heard a news that someone took their life because of his losses in gambling. I do pity that this person took away his life for this kind of reason but we still must understand the thought process that he had. Perhaps that was the darkest time of his life in which he probably saw suicide as the only escape.

Again, I would also like to remind everyone that no matter how heavy our losses might be; or how difficult our financial situation may be, your life is bigger compared to these problems that can be solved slowly but surely.
