I saw the news online last night. It’s really heartbreaking to read that someone took their own life because of a football match or gambling losses. In this case I suspect it’s both because Arsenal just won the Premier League in 22 years, and the club is off celebrating at the parade. I agree with you. If someone had bet on Arsenal at that time, I hope they wouldn't be disappointed for too long. I myself lost because I supported Arsenal at that time. People can do stupid things when they get their heart broken or face disappointment of this sort and it's not going to be the end of such kind of news, but what makes this a topic here is because it relates to gambling activities.

It pained me that I failed to place a bet on the match finals between Arsenal and PSG because I was just engrossed in something else, but what I planned to do as regards the strategy I intended to use was to bet for both sides to win in different tickets. That is, I would have bet for Arsenal to win on one ticket and in another ticket, I would have bet on PSG to win. In this way, I would have not lost much money if I did lose any of the tickets.
I actually thought honestly that PSG was the more dominant side and Arsenal from experience usually cringe in the finals perhaps out of fear or for some reason I don't understand. So whether I was an Arsenal fan betting on that match or not, I would have logically bet more money on PSG to win.

This person has really gone too far. I think so far life exist, there is nothing that is worth dying for, because whatever you loose today can be recovered someday. Arsenal lost UEFA champions league this season, and is possible they can win the same trophy they lost by next season. In delving into the discussion regarding the topic, it is important to note that while it is very easy to discern and understand that our lives are far more important than all the financial losses that we've incurred in gambling, still, these continuous losses blind and cloud our judgement from clarity.

Like what you said OP, you heard a news that someone took their life because of his losses in gambling. I do pity that this person took away his life for this kind of reason but we still must understand the thought process that he had. Perhaps that was the darkest time of his life in which he probably saw suicide as the only escape.

Crap, really? I provided the link to the video which I had to find so it doesn't look like I made up some story. I only stated that I wasn't sure if the content on the video was true because of how alot of similar content were posted yesterday after arsenal lost the match. Regardless of that, the message I passed across was only related in that aspect. People shouldn't take gambling or sports to the heart. The players who lost the cup were not that devastated because they knew it was a game of luck. There was no guarantee they would have won from the start. They led the game in the first half with 1:0 but things turned in the second half when they decided to play without any good strategy. But then they were not in luck to win.

I don’t know but I’m of the opinion that anyone who resorts to taking his life due to problems, especially when it involves debt or other financial problems as cowards, people who don’t have the guts to take responsibility for their own actions or place any reasonable value on their lives.
