Ok so, this is a stupid death that if truly heaven exists they can deny the soul of such human being, if you must take your own life make sure you are doing so to safe others, this is what I call a meaningful death.

If this person was raised with love and grows up loving some people in his life I swear down that he won't take his own life because he will obviously live for those he loved, I suspect a lacking life.

Even if he lost a fortune in this bet it's not worth dying for, because when a fortune is lost another can be made, he only needs to learn from his lesson but unfortunately he ran out of luck with life.

All we are doing right now is speculate the reason this person committed suicide. We do not have access to his medical history, he could be suffering from mental health problems and unfortunately didn’t get the help he needed in time to save his life. Let’s not be too harsh on the dead especially when we have limited information.

Bet responsibly
Take a break if the loss is affecting you mentally as well as physically.
Seek help if you are struggling to quit. The help could be online or offline.
Just gambling communities where you can interact with other who are betting responsibly.

It is unfortunately that some people can be this gullible to the level of committing suicide because of being a fan of Arsenal.
Arsenal was unfortunate to lose their opportunity to win the first ever championship league in the history of football.
It is every wrong for anyone to commit suicide because of football.

That's what some people don't know, any drastic decisions they take, things they killed themselves for, will continue to move on, with many uprising events to watch out for in the future. They are the ones who will later lose in all and those who are alive will celebrate and get to see those things others didn't see the good end of it.

For Arsenal losing the Champions League finals, a day will come when they will reach the finals and lift the Champions League trophy. No one should kill themselves for it because nothing remains the same forever without turning out good

Obviously that guy did not only killed himself because of the loss of the Arsenal, though. This loss of his favorite team just happened to the straw that broke the camel's back. 

I bet he suffered from depression, anxiety and other mental struggles which went unchecked and people did not pay attention to, he sought shelter from his problems in football and it became pretty much one of the only ways he had to cope with all the stuff he faced. This loss came so he could not longer cope with his own reality.

I am just speculating, but it would be wrong to assume this guy only killed himself out of grief because of football.

Hell, he could have also betted heavily in favor of Arsenal and he lost his life savings, it would not be the first time I have read a similar case of someone ending their own life because of losing their life savings in such a manner.

This is really very painful. We should not be so emotional and aggressive in gambling that we have no control over ourselves. Betting without understanding our financial situation and taking excessive risks for hope of profit creates the possibility of  big losses. I really cannot understand how irresponsible and addicted a person can be to the point of thinking of ending his life after losing a bet. The person with whom this incident happened may also have a family, children, parents. As a result of this decision, their future may have become dark. Therefore, those of us who gamble should gamble as responsibly as possible and definitely think about our families before taking any risky decisions.

I would have to agree that life and anyones life is more important than any bet. Whatever you may lose and how big of a loss it seems like life itself is over but you have to bring it home and realize quickly that at rock bottom the only to go is up and to bounce back

If the Post OP did is authentic then this is barbaric behaviour and its very unfortunate that we let our emotions win us sometimes just because of a game that lasted for 2hours. Nothing is worth taking your own life on. I mean there is absolutely not, life is too precious to just end it over a football match, I know some cases like this sometimes involves money probably he has gambled his whole life saving and lost it to the result of the game and couldn’t bear the lose. But still yet taking your own life is a vey foolish decision and it’s only a coward that will do this. What ever is lost from the game can be gotten back if you try again the book maker are always there, the sport will always be there, but once life is lost thats the end. Very unfortunate.

The thing is, we'll never understand the true reasons behind such actions. I don't think the defeat of his favorite team was the sole reason for his suicide. It's highly likely that something else led to this event. To understand this, we need to study this man's life in more detail. We need to delve into his emotional makeup, understand what motivated him and what he was striving for. Only then might the mystery of his actions be revealed.

There are so many cases in my community where soccer fans clash with supporters of other teams, leading to insults physical altercations and even murder. In reality we need to keep our emotions in check not just when our favorite team loses, but even when they win. We should maintain our composure and avoid becoming overly arrogant it’s okay to be proud, but there must be reasonable limits. I agree with you, these are two things that aren’t worth it, and as the saying goes, “soccer isn’t worth a life.” In other words, soccer here is just entertainment and if our favorite team loses that’s the final result but we must remember that the players have certainly tried their hardest to win. We need to control ourselves, including our own emotions.

It would be an understatement to call a suicide a fool, and if some other bad language could have been used, it would have been an understatement. There is a game between two teams and naturally one team will lose. It cannot be said that the losing team plays badly because they have to defeat many strong teams to reach the final of a tournament. The excitement surrounding the final match between Arsenal and PSG in the Champions League was that the PSG team had a higher chance of winning and many analysts and fans considered them as favourites and predicted the victory. In reality, although Arsenal scored first, the PSG team played well overall. They got that reward. It may not be unusual for some gamblers to make emotional decisions based on the results of a football game but committing suicide is a completely reckless and stupid act.

This is why they always say that gambling isn't for everybody. I think there was a thread like that, yet many were saying that gambling is for body. Normally, gambling can be for everybody, but I don't know what is actually wrong with some gamblers, because it's actually getting worster eve though they know fully well that luck has the final say.

He has too emotional attachment on the team that probably lead to suicide. There’s a lot of different of psychological nowadays with current generation which sometimes very hard to understand by people from old generation.

I actually came across this story yesterday on social media, Facebook to be presise. It was disgusting and disheartening to see that a fan will have to take his precious life all because Arsenal lost to PSG. That is foolishness if you ask me. Football should be an entertainment and not something that involves life. Just that some people take thks game too personal to the extent they can do the unthinkable. The fact is that even the Arsenal players can never kill themselves for losing, despite how long it took them to take the cup after 22 years they didn't give up or killed themselves, but However Victory was made and it was fun. So why would someone kell himself for Arsenal not taking lead on the premia league cup. We should just be careful how we take football at heart because it can cause a lot of emotional trauma if we take it too personal. Some fans even go as far as fighting their opponent club because the lose. The warning is clear, let's people be guided.

This is my taught as well, he couldn’t just take his life out of the grief of his football team losing.
I’m thinking it could be bet as well, he may have borrowed huge about of money to gamble, or use someones else’s money with him to gamble and lost it. Or just as you’ve said lost his life saving to the game.

Fans has to stops taking things about football too extreme, it’s cool to support a club, but there’re limit at which things should be.

Yes, this guy certainly looks like he's suffering from a deep and severe depression. Perhaps his favorite team's loss only pushed him to such a terrible act. He should have sought professional help in this area early on, so they could provide the appropriate treatment and help him overcome this illness. I know some people who have benefited from this type of rehabilitation. They've become normal people again and are now enjoying life.

Gambling can cause depression on its own. I do not think something not related to gambling make the man take his own life if true it happened. There will be be something about gambling like the man bet that Arsenal would win with huge amount of money, but Arsenal draw the matches in the 90 minutes. If the depression is not related to gambling, the match would not have been the reason he took his life.

I have never seen anything that is worth taking someone life for, life is very precious and sacred to God and shouldn't be taken for granted. If someone can take he/her own life all because of what was supposed to be for our entertainment purposes then it's crazy because I see no sense in such action rather stupidness is the better way a can describe sure act . The reason why all this things usually happen is because most times people become more greedy and by that exceed limits without knowing, they see gamble as a source of income and for that reasons started going aggressively and when things didn't go as planned it becomes a problem that mostly result suicide.

It's better we do away from such horrible act because anybody that got involved in such disgusting and irritating act all because of reason best known to him is actually on his own because if you take your own life all by your self then that's your own cup of tea nobody will go down the grave with you and that's the fact.

The combo of over-fanaticism and financial hardship. But IMO, in the case above, I think over-fanaticism is the more significant factor. Many people say and treat football like a religion, so it's no wonder if people are willing to take risks or even give their life for something they love and believe in.

Just like religion, you believe your religion is better than others. The one that is right. Then when your religion is "attacked" by someone, you will defend it, right? You probably will counter it back. Now imagine in the end you find out, both objectively and subjectively, that your religion all this time was the wrong one. You lose your lifeline and feel like everything is against you at that moment. All the story above is reasonable to me.
