Found an interesting tool for storing descriptor for a multisig wallet on metal plates.

Namely SeedHammer II. The price is less than a kay, all in all $ 499.00   for tool itself plus $79 metal plates. ^{Well, the plates aren’t a problem. You can easily source them yourself}.

Hurry up, because the updated version, SeedHammer II OG Edition, which they’re currently working on, will cost $3,500.

The software is open source.

What the tool does it simply bums bums… bums… and shazam!


P.S. The price may be quite affordable for multiple parties sharing the multisig wallet, and even for individuals who don’t mind the cost. It also looks like engraving the regular SEED phrase would be no problem for this device.

That is a steep price for a very limited use-case, there are a couple of alternatives to backing up a multi sig wallet, most of them free too.
The website looks poorly done too. For a service that costs that much it does not encourage users to put money down for the product.

I wouldn't say that tool is only useful for engraving seed phrases. It can be used for many other purposes as well (engaving) so its value isn't limited to bitcoin backups alone.

That said, the price still feels too high for what i would personally use it for. There are cheaper alternatives that can achieve essentially the same result, so i'd be more than happy to go with those instead.
