To keep things organized and only talk about the friendly matches that will be played until the start of the competition

Today I'm going to watch the Brazil X Panama game
I'll try to watch Germany X Finland too

I want to watch the most important games to see how the teams are doing before the start of the World Cup, since I'll be placing a lot of bets hehehe

Many people do not watch friendlies because they thing it's boring or teams do not try hard. But for me the games are always a good thing because the coach can try many things without risking a lot and the players want to score goals and show that they are the players to start the world cup

It is like a test before the real exam, and everyone is watching. It is the chance for the players with less play time to prove that they can and should start in the world's biggest competition

I will watch the Brazil X Panama today and I hope Brazil can start well. No Neymar in the field but I want to see players like Endrick that can be the face of the team

I honestly don't know anything about Panama, but I'm interested in this match because Panama is playing in a group with England, Croatia and Ghana, and Brazil beat Croatia in a friendly match about a month or two ago.

Although Brazil is always the favorite in these types of matches, with a lot of substitutions and no imperative to win, anything is possible. I looked at some old stats and it seems that these two teams haven't played a friendly since 2019 when it ended 1:1, with two wins by Brazil before that.

I almost forgot there's a friendly match tonight in a few hours, but the odds for Germany and Brazil are a small 1.1x that these teams will win because their opponents are underdogs.

There's a USA vs Senegal match that has pretty good odds but I don't know which team will win, it's just a friendly so the match won't be too intense so I wouldn't bet on this match unless it's the World Cup.

Well, exciting times coming for we all the football lovers in and around the world, I am genuinely happy for those who their country's football team will be participating in the coming world Cup, but unfortunately, that happiness did not extend to myself and my country because my country's football team did not qualify to participate in the world cup this year and season.

But this won't stop me from watching, betting, supporting and cheering for the best team to win the Cup, even though it won't be as exciting because since my country won't be playing, it will be kind of hard to find friends who will be interested in watching other countries play and be enthusiastic as they would have been if our own country was also playing, but never the less, it's not a big issue.
I will love to see how Brazil perform in this world Cup without Neymar..

One thing that I have observed about friendly match is that the teams involved don't really take it seriously because they know that they're just entertaining themselves which is the reason why some coaches don't take it seriously. I only watch friendly matches between big countries but I don't bet on them too because you wouldn't get the best from the teams.

Some like watching the friendlies or the pre-season, but it's actually mostly boring. The games will be played by bench most of the time. In the case of the NBA, most of the players were from the G-League or the newly scouted ones that are trying to prevent a job loss.
It's not a serious game. More likely an exhibition match. They won't even use the number that came from them, and the oddsmaker will come up with his new idea to avoid high losses in just a bare amount of time.

Although these can work for testing the state of form of the players and their technical rapport, I think the predictive value of these friendly matches is limited, at best. I would rather watch them to entertain myself and give me an idea afterwards of how the performance of the different teams has varied, but I would not base myself too much on these first results to draw conclusions, to be honest.

OK, these aren’t pre World Cup match because Italy didn’t qualify, but the Azzurri have a very, very serious interim manager who coaches the Under 21and has agreed to take charge of the senior team for these two friendly matches. He’s called up all the Under 21 players to show that there are talented young players in Italian football, but that you need the courage to let them play. In my opinion, that shows he’s got courage to spare! Best compliment to Silvio Baldini!!

Agree with you on that, and they won't afford to lose players now that they'll be sent onto the biggest stage. Still, it's fun to watch, especially if that's a team you're rooting for for this World Cup.

By the way, are there any free sites you know that don't need much VPN to watch the friendlies or perhaps the upcoming World Cup? Hoping only the sites that don't need a signup to watch, because I have a habit of forgetting a trial, then I'll be surprised I was charged already, because the trial period already expired.

Works cup friendlies are just to stretch the leg and keep fit and understand yourselves better as a team for real games ahead, you wouldn't expect teams to take the friendlies seriously like the world cup games. It's just a sort of a warm up. What I don't understand is why my country was playing friendly with Jamaica despite not qualifying , they're just playing friendly for a tournament they're not going to participate.

If you bet on friendlies, then you're shooting yourself on the foot. Friendlies are not serious matches and not one you can confidently predict a favorite since most players aren't performing on their best abilities there, and it could be fixed too.

Following the friendlies when the world cup is just here is not something you will have fun discussing about because most friendlies aren't the reflection of a real game, most players will be very careful not to get an injury to miss the biggest football tournament which is the world cup.

Don't gamble on friendlies.

Teams don't want to play their best there. Teams just want to warm up and do a bit of a psychological show-off to get ready playing in front of crowds.
They won't risk getting injured, they won't risk good players, they won't play normal tactics etc. Sometimes even they'll arrange for the good team to actually not be that good. Friendly nations will play each other and maybe even try to throw off their oponents with pointless tactics and results. Certainly don't put serious money in a friendly.

There's almost no reason for teams to take these matches seriously. So it's no surprise how both players and managers approach these games. In fact, I think calling them matches is unnecessary, because they're hardly any different from training sessions. Friendlies are the ideal place to try out new players and experiment with different formations.

Our team, Turkey, which will participate in the World Cup, will play a friendly match against North Macedonia in Turkey tomorrow. Then, on June 7th, they will play their final friendly match against Venezuela in the United States. After that, the World Cup will begin. I bet on some friendly matches and they gave me excellent profits, and you see, I don't usually like betting on friendly matches, but since I saw that the national teams participating in the World Cup are fielding their best players, I decided to bet on those friendly matches as well, and I was right on some of them. I was very surprised that Neymar was in the Brazilian squad. I didn't think he would be there. However, Carlo Ancelotti must have faith in his abilities. He included him and will want to use him to his best advantage in the World Cup. The only problem is his susceptibility to injury. In football, the last thing you want is injury, and in a World Cup like this, players who get injured and can't contribute to their team would be a disadvantage. So, Ancelotti must have considered these possibilities while taking this risk.
