Maybe he's suprised cause Senegal is the Champions of Africa and rated higher than USA in Fifa ranking so they should've done better since they have a good squad but it's a friendlies and Senegal might be saving their strength for the real deal, imagine putting energy in a friendlies and end up loosing important players to injury when the main event is by the corner.
 Well you've said it all, USA is a host and would want to be impressive as host of the tournament, I expect a more better performance than before moreover they now have an improved team. If I had placed a bet on that game I think I would've gone for Senegal too cause they're the current African Champions.

The main point here is that the US is playing as the host nation and so they will normally put in extra effort to impress their home fans starting from the pre season to the commencement of the world cup and certainly they will do well in the world cup they there are far better teams that will make things really difficult for them ones the world cup starts properly.

pre world cup friendlies doesn't fully give the right picture of how the world cup will look like so it is not too necessary to take things serious at this point. some countries will be willing to take some risk at this stage to check out certain things but ones the main tournament starts, everything changes. i am still certain that Senegal will do better ones the main world cup starts.

Poland are not in the best form at the moment. They suffered a defeat to Ukraine just four days ago, which is why many people will see Nigeria as the favorites for this match. Nigeria come into the game full of confidence, fresh energy, and several exciting new faces. They'll collect it. Even so, I hope this won't be a one-sided friendly. It has the potential to be a competitive and entertaining contest if both teams perform at their best.

Poland have had there first international friendly match so this would be there second time while in Nigeria this would be there fifth friendly match and between them you would only see a draw while the rest are won by Nigeria so Nigeria might also win Poland on this friendly even if they are against there host but I agreed on what you said because any country that didn't qualify always get very serious even if is a friendly match they have. The African country that cannot win is DR Congo because they can't win Denmark, so I'm thinking of making a bet on two games from this friendly, so maybe Denmark to win and Nigeria to win or draw to Poland.

Luxembourg are set to face Italy. It is a shame for Italy that they will not be able to take part in the World Cup. They failed to qualify for the World Cup after losing on penalties in the play-off final against Bosnia and Herzegovina. Luxembourg were never a team capable of qualifying for the World Cup, so we can say this will be a rather lacklustre match between the two sides. Our problem has been defensively, I'm still not convinced with how the defense is holding up, I really hoped this would have been fixed by now.

Netherlands lost their friendly match against Algeria 1-0. They didn't look very ready before the World Cup. If they had continued with the starting eleven, perhaps the Netherlands could have won. They made five substitutions at the start of the second half. After the substitutions, I think the Netherlands team weakened in terms of quality. The only goal of the match was scored by Hadj Moussa in the 86th minute, and Algeria defeated the Netherlands 1-0 away.

The Netherlands' group matches seem a bit easier than Algeria's. I expect the Netherlands to easily advance from the group. The conditions are a bit more difficult for Algeria.

To be honest, I am not paying any attention at all to matches which are taking place before the World Club. I want to save all my attention, energy and money for the biggest event of the year, which is pretty much around the corner.
Though, I can understand why there could be people who pay attention to friendlies, though they are not for me, specially when the real deal is so close from happening.

Also, there are people who believe those matches are not as exciting as real matches which count to get into climb up to the league, because they feel players do not actually give their one hundred percent. That is just a perception of some people, I have asked some bettors who pay attention to friendlies and they feel players give their best, regardless of the status of the match.

After scoring the first goal, Poland had to increase their attacking intensity, making Nigeria's play a little uncoordinated, allowing Poland to equalize before halftime. The penalty boosted Nigeria's confidence, as they took a brief lead, but Nigeria conceded another goal in the final minutes forcing a draw. A little evaluation of the defense is needed to make Nigeria much stronger in their next match before the world cup starts.

These games are good, but they're better than the games the teams go to the World Cup play. What I don't like is that in these games many players can get injured. I think these games shouldn't be held because it's just a bad time. I understand that if a player gets injured, the coach can't call up another one if he's already announced the lineup. It's a risk. I think that if the players don't play at 100%, they can't show as much.

Well, I personally do believe that players do not actually give In their best at friendlies, and this is why I myself also don't give attention to friendlies because thats not the main deal, the main deal the world Cup tournament coming Fort.

Now, think about this, imagine a situation where the world Cup tournament is just about days away from beginning and national teams are currently playing friendlies as a way to warm themselves up, and a player or maybe more players carelessly gets injured in a manner that they can't or won't be able to participate in the world Cup any more, and that injury came probably because they put all their energy in the game.
This is why I believe that players don't actually give in their best at friendlies, they are playing and being very careful knowing fully well that the main games are around the corner, so..
1. Players will want to reserve and safe energy to the main event.
2. No player will want to or like to get injured and end up not playing in the world tournament, so to avoid getting injured, they are extremely careful, and this means is, they won't play at their best capacity.

Pre-World Cup friendlies match last night the top team Netherland have defeated by Algeria, with the starting eleven dominance by regular or main composition team by playing several top players from Cody Gakpo, Gravenberch, Reijnders, Frankie De Jong and Van Dijk but Netherland can't get the victory from Algeria.  Actually Netherland full dominance the match and made 6 shot on target but difficult how scoring goals behind solid defense of Algeria, few minutes left before match ended Algeria success scoring goals from Hadj Moussa at 86th minutes and securing the victory from the top team.

I don't have any expectations when the Supers Eagles have a game, I just wait for the final outcome because trying to predict the game will give you heartache so no need. Although those that saw the game said it was more of Nigeria pressing than their hosts but it's just that they( Nigeria) can't defend to the last else they would have won.
