The match between Spain and Iraq ended 1-1. I was expecting Spain to win easily, but it seems it's not easy to concentrate during friendly matches.

France looks so washed in this game. They were unable defending their lead, and this is showing how fragile they are without Saliba. So we can't expect them to have a cake walk in the group stage.

The lose against Ivory Coast is also decreasing France's position from the number one of men football team to the 3rd. I think they play without Saliba in WC, they're gonna knocked out earlier. 

Beside that this proves how African teams become rediculously strong atm.

For me the problem isnt in Saliba not playing for me the problem is that they have such a good attacking power that they couldnt score more goals. They missed a couple of chances but this team should be destroying everyone in attack and i blame the coach here for not making a better tactic in offense. Its just bad to see so many top tier players not playing like they do in their own clubs.

Still this is there first game and i think once the world cup starts we will see a different story and a France team that will beat easily this kind of opponents.

I was very surprised by France's performance. After having such a strong squad, why are they in such a bad position!?? Both France's attack and defense were strong. Attacking  players made a lot of attempts to score. Even then, they could not break the defense of Ivory Coast. On the other hand, Ivory coast's players had relatively few attacks. Even then  they managed to break the french defense. France was leading 1-0 at the end of the first half. But, they lost the match 2-1. France will play against Senegal, Norway and Iraq in the world cup. These opponents are not considered weak.

I’m very shocked and surprised with this result, France and Spain are the two major countries everyone is believing will lift the World Cup, but looking at this yesterdays result I believe the World Cup will surprise everyone the country that may win this World Cup may not actually be the country we expect.
Yes I understand that this match is just a friendly match and some people may say they didn’t take it serious but I really don’t believe they didn’t take it serious, don’t be surprised when you see results like this in the World Cup.

This is no surprise at all. The French coach and his players don't put in much effort in friendly matches against weak opponents. I guarantee you that if France had played seriously and it had been a World Cup match, they would have won very easily. Just look at what happened in that game:

1 - France fielded some of their best players; Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué didn't play.

2 - France scored first in the 45th minute, and guess what happened after that?

3 - After the first goal in the 46th minute, France substituted: Dayot Upamecano, Michael Olise, Kylian Mbappé, Aurélien Tchouaméni.

They all left at the same time. So it was obvious that France wasn't even taking Ivory Coast seriously. I don't even know why this result is so surprising. I don't know how anyone could believe that Ivory Coast would beat present-day France if they were playing very seriously.

You need to checkout the Serbian squad its not first team its not second team its mostly players that never played for national team,all the main players went on holidays and no body is playing for the team ,so im not surprised they lost by this much.  What i am surprised is that France lost 1-2 to Ivory coast and even in a friendly match that is really bad. They went out with their first squad and werent able to win this shows early alerts before the world cup.

Serbia sends their youngsters for this game while Mexico has their best side. This big difference brings results like this Serbia is out of the World Cup while Mexico is hosting and also has a chance of going into the top 8 just because of this result appearing on the board. France surely did not have a good day, or they were not doing any experiments. This is not a good result for them before the World Cup, as they are currently in the top 4 for winning the World Cup.

Just as the name implies it's friendly and they're no seriousness in it, so if you're staking on it just beware that's nothing serious, the underdogs always win because they want to prove a point against a big team while the big team use it to keep fit and to avoid injury.

I don't also take it seriously or watch it, I'm waiting for the main football, where every team are fighting for something, you will enjoy the intensity and seriousness from both team, don't criticize any team that lose a friendly match and don't waste money on it.

Oh Ivory Coast beating France really is a statement. Didn't imagie they would be such a threat. After all they are in the group with my German team so they better watch out. When I saw the group I had a good laugh but maybe I was laughing to early. Seems like IC might be a serious obstacle in there. Sure, friendlies don't really mean much but carrying such a win into the tournament definitely gives them some sort of momentum!

Don't want to understimate waht Ivory Coast did, but IMO, winning pre-World Cup game isn't a statement. It's not first time when some African team get hyped before World Cup, but in recent World Cups only Morocco achieved something big.
I don't undertand what Spain is doing - it's your last game before Wordl Cup and you take there maybe 10 players who aren't selected for World Cup squad. What's the point? It's not even about result and draw with mighty Iraq.

France will come out top in thier group, they're the strongest team in the group I can see that they would go beyond the group stage. Senegal or ivory coast will likely do well in their groups because they are both strong teams, am not sure if they will make to the final I  doubt so because no africa team have make to the final. So far only few africa teams have made it to quarter final and the semi fina in the past l. So even if Senegal and vory coast manage to make it out of their groups it is unlikely they will reach final.

France played with their best XI. Yet they lost in this match. I would say it is a shame. Despite having such a strong squad, they could not play well. The squad had Mbappe, Thuram, Rabiot, Cherki, Olise and Tchouameni. Even then they were able to score only one goal in the match. They were able to take a total of 15 shots. They were able to create a lot of chances. But their finishing was weak.

France's squad is the strongest squad in this World Cup. They have the most star players. But the mutual understanding between the players is not good. We got the proof of this again in the match against Ivory Coast.

Ivory Coast national football team performance was great in this match because they did 2  goals in this match and opponent team did only 1 goal in this match. The shots of  that team were 7 in this match and 5 shots were on target and possession percentage of that team was  44 percent in this match and their passes were good in this match. They made a match in the second half of the match. Doué was a person who did second goal of the match and he did this goal at 53 minutes because there was a goal before that and Cherki did first goal of the match and he did this goal at 45 minutes and shots of France national football team were more in number and these were 13 in this match and 6 shots were on target and possession percentage of that team was 56 percent in this match and they gave their best to win this match but they lose this match at the end.

Basically, most teams are not investing much energy into the pre world cup friendlies so they don't nurse injured players already, they will  be needing  their main stay players at their very best in the world cup games so they can not start now to risk them when they have nothing much to benefit from the games, I don't think  the main world cup games would be this boring but I agree  that this pre world cup games are actually really boring.  Some of them almost feel like training games.

Friendlies are mostly like warm up games to prepare  the mj ds of players ahead for the main competition, this happens with even rpe season games and that is why they are mostly boring, most of the players aren't playing with anything at stake so they just use it as a preparatory game or we can say post training games, while they get ready for the main competition.  I watch those games mostly out of boredom.

I'm the same as you, but in the betting approach, I don't like betting on friendly matches because they don't seem to have a strong intention to win the match. Look at how Sweden & Spain couldn't win against Greece & Iraq, or even worse, France losing to Ivory Coast, it all looks stupid to me. I still watch those matches, but especially for betting, I also wait for the main competitions.

Ivory coast shocked the France national team by beating them 2-1 in friendlies. Cherki scored the first goal in the last minute of the first half.64% possession 1 big chance created 9 total shots by france. In the second half  Doue scored an equalizer in the 53rd minute and Diallo won it for Ivory coast  by scoring the winning goal in the 84th minute. France dominated the second half as well by 56% possession but no big chance was created. Ivory coast created 2 big chances and scored. Doue is named as player of the match for Ivory coast.

Against Panama, here where I live, it seemed like Brazil had already won the World Championship because they set off fireworks for over an hour. I have no doubt that this is going to be an excellent match. There is no way egypt is considered weak. Brazil won the first  friendly match with a huge margin of 6-2  against weak opponents panama. We will not see such a result in this match.

Egypt have  played their  last three matches against Saudi Arabia, Spain and Russia. They won 4-0 against saudi arabia and 1-0  against russia. Even against a strong team like Spain, the match ended in a goalless draw.

Egypt's defense  is very  strong. And I am sure they will apply defensive tactics in this match as well . Egypt also has two talented players in attack like Salah and Marmoush.

chile is a long way from its former glory days. the team used to have players like vidal and alexis sánchez playing at the highest level, but right now, we can safely say they don’t stand a chance against portugal. even though they aren’t favorites in the world cup, portugal is a very strong team. with their young squad that has developed in recent years, they have a very strong squad when viewed as a whole. it would be a surprise if they didn’t beat chile tonight.

Teams are now playing their final matches before the tournament begins, as there are only a few days left for proper rest and preparation. To be honest, I'm already getting a little tired of friendly matches and looking forward to the official games starting. Out of today's fixtures, the match that stands out to me is USA - Germany. I'm hoping for an entertaining, high scoring game with plenty of goals. I expect Germany to score at least twice, and I also think the USA are capable of finding the net. For that reason, I like the bets on Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals. But always be careful when betting on friendly matches, as they can be much less predictable.
